I mean, calm mind blissey has been a meme for 20 years, it’s pretty ridiculous that it’s not only viable, but the best set on blissey

Assault Vest Toxapex says 'Remember me?'

Movepool and metagame changes mean that what was a meme in a past generation can be usable in this generation.

Also, the only OU-proper mon that uses Nasty Plot is Gholdengo, who cannot outboost Blissey thanks to Make It Rain lowering special attack.

To be honest with you people, it's all you guys fault

>NoOOoO Heatran lost toxic now he is literally unviable
On Garchomp, I don't even know what happened, I assume it's ursaBM, and will go up a little. Garganacl is also a sad case, stall/fat is on the rise with gliscor and in ways to counter ursa, once the meta settles, well see it again

Anyway, I'm going back to create heat and explaining on discord servers why corviknight will always be a C- mon this gen

EDIT: Ban garganacl

I got the feeling Rain was on it's way to UU and I'm pretty sure this is all on Waterpon. I don't think Waterpon is that busted but a Pokemon who kills an entire playstyle deserves to have their presence in the tier questioned.

?? Waterpon is excellon ON rain.

roaring moon rising to OU(it is a good pokemon, but I don't see how the dlc made it viable again).

Knock off is enormous for it.

Baxcalibur being gone was also a big reason why Roaring Moon rose back to OU as it held back Roaring Moon significantly. Baxcalibur pretty much always threatened to end Roaring Moon's sweep.
Additionally, it was big competition for Roaring Moon as Sweeper and Breaker because its Ice-STAB matched up much better vs rest of meta and it had better offensive synergy with partners like G-King and Kingambit. With Baxcalibur gone + Roaring Moon getting Knock Off, it has a more notable place in the meta as a Band / DD user.

now that the usage statistics dropped, i was finally able to waste an hour and a half of my life on this

Just realized that Ribombee was #25 usage In OU. Webs good? Not sure

It's been used against me fairly often. With Gliscor around, it isn't too scary, and as long as I have the bear, I don't even care about the speed loss.

I appreciate it having Stun Spore, and I love the fact that it speed creeps Meowscsrada, and then it has a nice offensive typing to most.

Honestly, I'm not really too surprised at all when you consider that Garchomp was literally the 37th in last month's usage and a DLC just dropped and everyone wants to try out the new toys it brought. For Heatran, I always knew it was only a matter of time. Without its precious toxic, this mon is just utter shit. Hell, Garchomp walls the shit out of Heatran last gen if it wasn't for toxic being such a toxic presence in the metagame and I'm glad its distribution has been significantly cut

The one I'm honestly surprised that dropped is Garganacl. I'm just starting out in the tier again now that the chaos is starting to settle and well, I didn't think it would drop this fast especially when you consider how it was 24th last month. The only question in my mind now is how in the hell did Blissey manage to claw its way back up to OU again? I thought that stall is really bad this gen and Blissey lost its precious toxic as well? What the fuck is going on?

Blissey is the only thing that walls blood moon, and due to that you can tell something is very wrong with blood moon Ursaluna. Bloodmoon ursaluna truly is the cocaine bear we feared pre gen 9.

Garchomp, now victim of new toy. Will probably be back in a month honestly since garchomp felt pretty good to use with scale shot when I played around with it, can definitely compete with Gliscor as a sweeper thanks to scale shot and having a better speed tier to work with

Also Tornadus-T and Alomomola seemed to have picked up in usage in OU towards the end of the month, which means we could get them in the next OU shift, as both have been feeling pretty great to use as of right now.
Also surprised toxapex survived, its been facing some very stiff competition right now as just a fat regen Mon in this HO meta and as a toxic spiker.

Guys, I think we might need to, maybe, reevaluate how we handle tiering.

Seems that it's causing problems.
Powercreep and new toy are the norm when new releases/dlc happen, things will be clearer in a few months. This has been a constant throughout Smogon tiering history, deal with it.

Heatran did, in fact, drop (if only barely). That's not some statement of the council or whatever, that's the actual usage statistics.

| 38 | Heatran | 4.469% |

Anything below 4.52% usage dropped to UU(or lower).
TECHNICALITIES ARE SO COOL LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Garg is going back to OU when the meta stabilizes nothing about that mon is any less dumb

corv is the best C- pokemon ever invented

You know Lando has offensive sets. And it does things Gliscor can't right. Scor is amazing but let's stop trying to downplay Lando (people were doing this even when it was putting strong showings in tournaments so I dunno if this just comes from a weird desire people have for it to drop).
man, hard to believe it's only been a week since people were posting lando copium like this

Now. Just a thought experiment. Nevermind darkrai, with Lando-T being on the cusp of being UU, could we even consider Lando-I for OU? Is it that much better than the wallbreakers/threats we have this gen?
it probably is, I just find it funny if we could literally just shifts all tiers up one spot from last gen and have Lando-T as glue in UU and lando-i as a wallbraker in OU.

no!!! we're just about to get rid of a broken ground-type special wallbreaker and we don't need it replaced
