This team can be considered as semi-stall I guess, with Bulk Up Corviknight as the late-game cleaner. SpDef investment allow it to set up behind a Sub against Toxapex, Clefable, Choice-locked Slowbro/Slowking Galar(yes it happens quite a lot because they like to let them being tricked by Clefable). Another alternative choice is to run Iron Defense + Body Press but personally I prefer Brave Bird to hit everything.

Blissey + Toxapex + Tangrowth act as walls, to almost all offensive presence in the current meta barring Tapu Lele which is checked by Corviknight. Blissey is the rocker, which can 1v1 most defoggers right now(Moltres and Zapdos), Shadow Ball+Toxic covers Disable Spectrier(scout for it if you saw leftovers on them). Toxapex with Toxic Spikes to make Tapu Fini less threatening and Tangrowth punishes all those physical pivots with Rocky Helmet chip.

Zapdos is the defogger here, I've used this Zapdos spread for most of my team and I think it is the most splashable set for this role. It also act as a check for Kartana, Melmetal, Hawlucha and Rillaboom. Scarf Trick Clefable(one of my favourite all time set) is there to do its job, which includes: crippling setup Fairies such as Tapu Fini and Magearna, lock specific mons(trick) into one move and endgame with setup Corviknight, setup Calm Mind itself after tricking the Choice Scarf and clean the game.

Things to be wary about:
Electric types in general(especially physically offensive ones, named Zeraora) are pretty matchup reliant
Heatran, but they like to throw it away against Clefable so I didn't find much trouble with it
Calm Mind Fairies namely Tapu Fini, Tapu Lele, Clefable and Magearna are quite difficult to pull through, with an exception of Magearna because they just ignore Clefable(Trick them Choice Scarf and you can happily win with Corviknight)

Wanted to build around chesto g-moltres in a more balanced team after trying it in a HO team by craing.
This set works very well against fatter teams, so I decided to pair it with something good vs offense like zera. trick+cm clef loves moltres-zera weakening stuff like ferro, pex, heatran, mag ecc, bulky scarf lando provides general utility while spdef heatran + rh storm drain gastro patch up some defensive weaknesses.
Team is pretty weak to kyub but still fun to use and somehow unconventional.

Acrobatics Urshifu-R, Explosion Regieleki, and more! The purpose of the team is to set up an Arctozolt sweep. Only Buzzwole and Ferrothorn and certain ground types can avoid being beaten 2HKO'd by Arctozolt after a layer of spikes from Accelgor. Urshifu with Acrobatics treats both these pokemon like setup fodder, and Regieleki lures in ground types that stop you from mindlessly clicking Bolt Beak and explodes on them. Tapu Lele provides terrain support to stop priority from killing Arctozolt, and Abomasnow sets up hail and stops Rillaboom.

Too weak to Magearna to be viable, but it's so much fun to use.

I am pretty low on Moltres lately due to how susceptible it is to knock off, hence the swap. I haven't really used the Zapdos version much lately, but I had a lot of success with the Moltres version.

Bird + Gastro + Ferro is a really good defensive core, as they cover each others weaknesses pretty well.

I used this team mostly pre Urshifu ban, so Clef was primarily just for Urshifu/rocks + wish support for goon.

Bird is primarily for kart/rillaboom + status spreading, although against Rillaboom I generally went to ferro first to scout for CB knock off.

Gastrodon in my experience is the most consistent Nidoking answer, the spread prevents 2HKO from earth power and the defensive investment is for something but I forgot. Heavy-duty boots over leftovers as I don't have a t-spike absorber. Gastrodon is great versus Cinderace too, as the only move that can 2HKO it is HJK, which would be a very dangerous play for an opponent to make with a Bird/Ghost type on my team. Also, obviously, gastrodon shuts down rain teams. Clear smog is for CM clef.

Ferro is for spikes/fini/etc.

Obstagoon + Spectrier have pretty great offensive synergy - breaking and crippling each other's checks. Obviously Goon on its own is a phenomenal answer to Spectrier as its only offensive counter and is a great breaker in its own right (even greater now with less competition from Urshifu).

Obstagoon is pretty flexible with its fourth move, and I have gotten success out of everything I have tried. I did find Close Combat to be the most consistent as it is great for t-tar. Bulk Up I haven't used much, but I can imagine it would be quite good against fatter teams. Obstruct lets you activate flame orb right away, allowing you to potentially lead with Goon which can be helpful for scouting sets and breaking with correct predictions. My favorite interaction with it was tricking a flame orb onto a corviknight as it switched in and then obstructing on its body press which meant i could 1v1 it. Its mostly a meme pick, but it has uses.

Spectrier set you could probably swap out mud slap for dark pulse, but dark pulse won me a game once so it is staying with me forever (killed an exploud with it, flinched a melmetal next turn for the 2HKO it and then swept).

Disclaimer that this team is hard to use tbh, so I recommend reading the post I made here if you want to see replays and to learn more about SubCM Jirachi and what it intends to do. however this team has its obvious flaws, but it is fun to mess around with on the ladder and ninetales can actually hit most of the OU-tier for at least neutral damage with its great coverage-options in energy ball and scorching sands. also the former doesn't get disrupted by opposing weather and the latter has a burn chance.

closing words:
dual-screen tapu koko in combination with magearna and hawlucha is a threatening core and after they are boosted there aren't many pokemon which can stop them. cinderace is a great fit on hyper offense as it is naturally fast and act as a forme of speed control and pyro ball boosted by drought is a hard hitting move and not many pokemon can check that.

Another scrub team hot off the presses:

IMPORTABLE

This is an HO Screens team with unconventional (read: suboptimal) picks. Magearna is probably strictly better than Espeon as a Stored Power juggernaut, but I used Espeon here because Urshifu finally got banned and because I just felt like it so fuck it. Set up screens and U-Turn into Espeon and get the Def boost from eletric seed and start clicking Calm Mind. After 2 CM's, Stored Power is 120BP STAB coming off of 600 SAtk and pretty much bodies everything. Magic Bounce is a hilarious ability that stops status/taunt/leech seed/other bs. LO Adamant Cinderace is retarded and no one expects the damage output which leads to some surprising 2 HKOs. ScaleShot Chomp with Rocks for role compression. I used Togekiss becasue I like it and felt like using it on a team, and once it sets up it can help you bullshit your way around problematic mons. Adamant ScarfTana which was originally LO + SD, but I needed some speed control. Jolly is probably better but I love doing damage so w.e. Overall, a really fun team to mess around with and enjoy cheesing on the ladder.

Reuniclus does what it has done since Gen 5; bulky CM. Reuniclus balance really picked up towards the end of Gen 7 and I wanted to recreate that archetype for Gen 8. Reuni + Hazards is a tried and true pairing; as Reuniclus is a slow-burning win condition and relies on chip damage to win effectively. I paired Reuniclus with Skarmory + Toxapex for hazards, as well as defensive coverage. Double rocky helmet helps further chip physical attackers and mixed defensive Pex gives me more leeway when it comes to Pokemon such as Magearna. Hydreigon provides a much-needed Ghost resistance, hazard removal, and a Heatran check. Landorus-T provides speed control, as well as an Electric immunity. Tapu Koko rounds out the team as an all-around pivot and glue mon.

Threat list:

- 2hko's the entire team. Toxapex's spread allows it to survive an Earth Power at full and knock it, which makes it much more manageable. Hydreigon gets 2hko'd by Ice Beam but is otherwise the most consistent switch in as it outspeeds and can fire off an Earth Power.

- Offensive electrics in general. Scarf Lando is a shaky electric immunity and my only electric immunity.

- Not really an offensive threat, but it just sits there. Only really forced out by CM Reuniclus.

Another Reuniclus team, this one is a little more gimmicky than the above but a lot more satisfying.

Importable

This Reuniclus is Acid Armor + Calm Mind, which I find to be much more effective in this metagame (given the right support), since Teleport Slowbro/Blissey/Clefable + a powerful U-turner such as Cinderace or Rillaboom can easily handle most Reuniclus sets. This set uses Acid Armor to invalidate that method of counterplay and limits it to really only dark types and Toxapex in a 1v1 scenario if they win every 50/50. The second member is Spectrier, a set I took from Amir in the metagame discussion thread. Its Nasty Plot + Hyper Beam antics lures in opposing Dark types and KOs them after burn chip, or just an outright OHKO at +4. I did switch Hex for Will-o-Wisp, though, because in the metagame discussion thread Amir omitted that and it allows me to 1v1 Mandibuzz.

The rest of the team is kinda cookie cutter. Blissbro is a great core, and Moltres patches up weaknesses to Rillaboom, Heatran, and certain setup Magearna variants. Scarf Landorus-T is important for speed control, electric immunity, Magearna revenge-killing, and helping in the collective against sand which is nearly lost for this team.

Threats:
Sand is very hard for this team to play around. Landorus-T has to come in often on Bolt Beaks but its health is very important to be able to revenge-kill Dracozolt while also beating Hippowdon. Tyranitar is also a hassle for this team to deal with but hopefully it can be Wisped and slowly chipped down by Landorus-T (Hex would be good here to chip it down but sadly I don't have the space).

This mon looks threatening on team preview but Moltres always switches in on it and Reuniclus can 1v1 even the Sub-Bulk Up variants.

Sub-Dark Pulse variants easily smother this team alive. Hopefully you can get to +6 SpD with Reuniclus before that happens.

Reuniclus: EV'd to outspeed Haze Pex, never be OHKOed by Specs Magearna Fleur Cannon, and always beat Specs Magearna spamming Fleur Cannon in a 1v1 scenario

This team has a bit of everything, but is primarily meant to wall-break really hard with Latios and Urshifu, so that Spectrier, Scarf Landorus-T or Banded Aqua Jet from Urshifu can sweep. Spectrier runs Spell Tag to try to bluff specs, but is actually Sub Calm Mind. You want to analyze what's blocking your potential sweepers and punch as many holes as you can so that your sweeping opportunity can arise.

Celesteela + Clefable in itself is a pretty decent defensive core. Clefable's utility and defensive bulk + Celesteela's ability to switch in on Poison + Steel moves with ease is incredibly useful. If you need a good special wall, Celesteela does the job and more. Anything that can threaten Celesteela can be switched into by Latios, Urshifu or Lando, so the team functions synergistically.

Threatlist:

- Faster than everything on the team except Lando-T. You want to get rocks up or deal some prior chip to it so it will die from Scarf EQ.

- It's not that we can't hit this Pokemon, it's just depending on the coverage, it can be menacing. Spectrier can beat offensive variants that have some prior chip, but bulky variants are hard to kill with anyone on the team, especially being equipped with Regenerator.

These Pokemon aren't impossible to beat at all, but it requires better gameplay and for you to make bolder moves to put yourself in a good position vs them.

This team uses Work Up LO Tapu Koko, which I stole from the next best thing thread here on this forum. Its a fun little lure that hammers some usual safe switch ins that expect fully special sets. It also handles the usual safe switch-ins for Terrak. Enough SAtk ev's to handle Swampert and Hippo, with the rest dumped into attack so Wild Charge hits as hard as possible. Standard LO King w/Modest because it punches holes in everything. Standard BRO to pivot into Koko and King safely. Hydreigon is a much needed Heatran and Ghost check. I use a little more SAtk than usual for "defensive" Hydreigon because the usual set threatens absolutely NOTHING. Bulk Up Corviknight w/Body Press is fun with Scarf Terrak for speed control and more dark resist.

The team uses Specs Keldeo as its main wallbreaker, as there are very few teams that can switch into Specs Secret Sword + Future Sight or Specs Surf + FS. Cinderace has Electro Ball and enough SpA EVs to hit Slowbro to KO it after FS damage. It's basically to lure Slowbro for Keldeo to sweep. Porgyon2/Slowbro is one of my fav cores right now as they can aggressively teleport and support strong wallbreakers such as Cinderace and Keldeo, while being great walls that can wall the majority of the metagame. Trace Porygon2 walls Heatran for example, or can Teleport on Slowking-Galar and come back full cuz regen. Garchomp is the rocketter of the team cuz I love him rn. Also Hyper Beam on Keldeo to lure weakened Slowbro/Slowking/Toxape for ace. ID + BP Corviknight is to counter grass/sd chomp and it can sweep some unpreared teams.

Threats:
- Slowking is very hard to get through. You have to play really well to weaken this and make sure it doesn't recover

The team uses Specs Keldeo as its main wallbreaker, as there are very few teams that can switch into Specs Secret Sword + Future Sight or Specs Surf + FS. Cinderace has Electro Ball and enough SpA EVs to hit Slowbro to KO it after FS damage. It's basically to lure Slowbro for Keldeo to sweep. Porgyon2/Slowbro is one of my fav cores right now as they can aggressively teleport and support strong wallbreakers such as Cinderace and Keldeo, while being great walls that can wall the majority of the metagame. Trace Porygon2 walls Heatran for example, or can Teleport on Slowking-Galar and come back full cuz regen. Garchomp is the rocketter of the team cuz I love him rn. Also Hyper Beam on Keldeo to lure weakened Slowbro/Slowking/Toxape for ace. ID + BP Corviknight is to counter grass/sd chomp and it can sweep some unpreared teams.

Threats:
- Slowking is very hard to get through. You have to play really well to weaken this and make sure it doesn't recover

From experience, I'd rather just double than click flip turn. Maybe it works in UU but many of Keldeo's common switchins (slowbro/tox/ferrothorn) have rocky helmet/barbs. Flip turn is doing negligible damage anyways, so even if they stay in they're not taking much. I found myself never clicking Focus Blast and Icy Wind was too situational and never worth really. The only other options are Aura Sphere or Air Slash, which are probably not hitting anything that Surf/Secret Sword + FS aren't killing already. Personally I never really liked Hyper Beam/Giga Impact sets, but I found that Hyper Beam can get rid of a weakened Toxapex as a last resort which can open up a path for Cinderace even if it means Keldeo dies.

For what its worth though, I never really clicked Hyper Beam aside from once or twice, the team did pretty well in wallbreaking aside from Slowking. Even teams with rare Keldeo answers like Latias, Amoonguss, and Starmie were eventually wallbroken without the use of Hyper Beam.

This team is built around the Volcarona + Garchomp core, I made a post in the good cores thread about a month ago deeply explaning it. Removing Heatran after luring it in and doubling to Garchomp allows me to break holes, and makes removing Volcarona often a monumental task. Didn't really like my lack of Stealth Rock while building this team so I figured I would use a tankchomp to generate chip damage for the duo and wear down the things that threaten my team the most.

Scarf Tapu Lele is my main speed control, and Zarude is my main check to Spectrier (which I think is really fire right now because you shrug off burns with Jungle Healing and still apply a lot of pressure). Corviknight will safely get any of the big threats in, and pex knocks as many items as possible to cripple the opposing team.

Used this team to go 33-4 and get reqs. pretty standard hyper offense, but this melmetal set is demonic: substitute + protective pads. it beats non-body press ferrothorn 1v1, avoids chip damage from helmet, 1v1s zapdos and moltres if u predict right with eq, I've even beaten slowbro with it. the few things it loses to (lando-t if it gets a free switch, body press ferrothorn, zapdos) will still take a ton of damage, allowing one of the other threats on the team to sweep late game.

if you're using this team I'd say just go for trades— it's ok if one mon loses to a wall if it means the next one can come in and start snowballing. and try to get melmetal in on clef or choiced lele, your opponent will switch and you'll get a free substitute, which will help destroy their defensive core.

built this for ost but never used it, pretty fun to use on ladder. pult is a super broken mon right now but is kinda overshadowed by shit like ace and spect rn. pretty generic future sight.

heat team with conk + fs. conk is pretty underwhelming unfortunately. toad cause i needed water resist + rocks. shoutout fusien for helping a lot with this one
koko ace core, melm really benefits from these two guys. fini in the back to break stall + water resist
specs kyu + ace fs. these two basically break everything in the tier lol. sand is really reliable alongside kyu as well
sub dd kyu + torn + sand balance. pretty straight forward sand balance + a kyurem
one of my favorite teams, specs lele breaks all of pults checks then pult comes in and wins. alongisde the proper team support so lele doesnt suck. all else fails lo chomp is a pretty good get out of jail free card

I originally got this idea while battling storm zone a month ago or so, he was using power herb tran + urshifu-rapid, where heatran lures bulky waters like slowbro so the urshifu would have an easier time punching holes in the opponent's team. I wanted to try a similar idea, but I'm not liking Urshifu-Rapid much in the current meta, so I decided to switch things up and try specs keldeo instead, since I feel it can really catch a lot of unprepared builds off guard. FS bro lures toxapex in for keldeo, to help it wallbreak. I'm not running scald because I don't think it's necessary on this team, so i opted for ice beam on Bro instead, to help keep sd chomp in check. Heatran lures in pokemon like Slowbro and Fini for Keldeo, removing them from the game with solar beam to make Keld's job of punching holes easier. Because the heatran is offensive, I decided to use thunder wave Ferrothorn to help check setup Magearna. Hydreigon for the obligatory Spect check, lol. And scarf lando to provide an elec immunity, and revenge killer/speed control. This team helped me get reqs, and is pretty fun in practice overall. It can sometimes struggle with pex + fighting resist cores, and tspikes pex can be a pain for keld. I feel there's definitely room for optimization, but it's done well overall.
