Team Trials III - Round 2

I've been on all day last few days, and several days last week and been on during every evening after I've had work, sent VM's and nothing. I know tha ShoddyCem has been on during that time, but has made no effort to contact me. =/
 
I've to play against Optimusje this evening at 19:00 GMT. But he came around 18:00 GMT and was already left when I've logged in.

He wants to play tomorrow but I've to go to work when he is available .-.
 
Just saying mister Haldar here seems to have trouble with worldtimes and seems to have stuff mixed up by 2 hours... I have the pm's as proof when needed...

Please learn to read. I said he should have sent me a PM. I never said he sent me a pm. & I know what a vm and pm are bud. Still, he said he couldn't have done much more? He could've at least checked back at where he posted.

For someone so quick to make a smartass reply, you didnt make yourself seem smart at all.
 
Okay the deadline has passed. I won't be posting R3 until tomorrow night so keep trying to get battles done if possible. Expect minimal extensions.

When you receive a VM from someone, you're supposed to post your response on their profile. This way, they are notified of the reply, and the two of you can plan things (like tournament matches). Nobody, however, does what you are suggesting. I doubt any experienced player in the Tournament forum would repeatedly check his opponent's profile for VM responses in the off chance the opponent mistakenly replied to himself. I don't know how things operate wherever you're from, but Fatecrashers outlined the way things work on Smogon pretty clearly. There's no way you can fault me for not checking your profile for misdirected VMs.

Secondly, as I stated earlier, I really don't think there was much more I could have done. I was on and ready to battle literally every day of the round. You, on the other hand, didn't even sign onto Smogon once from August 20th - September 6th (I'm assuming the 6th since that's when you "replied" to my VM) according to the forums. I checked the userlist for your name every time I browsed the forums, I sent you a VM that you replied to in a way that's nearly as useless as not replying at all... Even if you were on for a few moments over the last couple of days, you can't expect a few scattered posts/site checks during the final two days of a tournament to excuse your blatant inactivity for the entire rest of R2 (especially when I've already stated twice in this topic that I'd be leaving town and without shoddy access near the end of the round). It's DJXO9's decision in the end, but I really feel I've done my part in attempting to play this match.

Sorry for the tl;dr (and the bit of drama my little activity post caused)--just wanted to defend myself!
 
I see some of your points Eet, but if you didn't have to leave the tournament now we wouldn't be having this problem :/ the deadline was this late so that, if it had to, the match could still be done. My times of activity simply haven't fit yours as yours haven't fit with mine.

You are the one who mixed the things. My previous post was sent exactly at 19:03 GMT. And you're already offline.
 
Haldar is off with timezones, I can provide proof with timestamps of pm's when needed... it now seems like hes thinking hes in a different timezone (as france can never be GMT +2...)
