they have NO chance of getting him. why would he leave his country, the biggest club in the world, one of the most beautiful cities in the world for manchester utd, horrible city and the fierce rival and #1 ennemy of the team he just admitted he loves and misses (liverpool)?

i bet fergie isnt even going to get a midfielder. he'll just say ''the market was inflated'' like always

do they even need aguero? they're fine in attack: torres, drogba, anelka, kalou is pretty good. they need two more signings IMO: they desperately need width, so they need a winger that can play up-front in a 4-3-3 and a midfield playmaker like Modric, Sneijder, Kaka, Pastore...

and when did i even mention liverpool as a city? i didnt say anything about it. all i said was that manchester is horrible. and to answer akuchi: no ive never been there and i know i wont go there in the future after what ive reviews from some friends and family.

Chelsea appoint Andres Villas-Boas on 3 year deal. Do you think he'll be able to "win over the dressing room?" Lot's of cliques and stuff there, it'll be interesting to see how they respond to a guy who is the same age as Lampard. Still, he has a phenomenal management record at club level, and was Mourinho's chief scout while at Chelsea so he must have something about him.
 
I like Villa-Boas and I hope his appointment is more of a long term plan than a one season thing. It'd be a shame if he gets fired after one year for not winning the champions league...
 
i dunno, he's young enough that it looks like they might be genuinely building for the future. i'd like to see him do well, he seems like a lovely man (and i definitely would)
 
the difference between him and mourinho is that mourinho won the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

i dont see how he'll win over the dressing room. people are focused on transfers and tactical decision but forget this aspect of the manager's job. i think hell be gone by january or in the summer because he wont win the CL with barcelona around anyway
