Gen 6 The "Are my Pokémon IVs and Nature good?" Thread

I swear, I love Gen VI. Giving legendaries 3 perfect IV's make this process so easy. I just landed on this gold mine:

Mewtwo, Time @ 31/0/31/31/30/31
Share please :( on topic

Xerneas modest
31/29/31/31/31/31 time to toss. Sigh. Fuck synchronizers. Never ever working properly.

Nice to see that I wasn't the only one to fall victim to that. I wish Synchs worked 100% of the time. Also, great to see someone finally do mixed Xerneas for once.

been soft resetting for a mewtwo. have pokemon y, going to use mega.
timid nature.
stats:

HP 250 (31)
Atk 155 (20,21)
Def 135 (6,7)
SpA 242 (31)
SpD 147 (23,24)
Spd 228 (31)

not thrilled about the defense. keep or try again???

Can't believe I SR-ed on a Modest 22/1/31/31/31/31 Xerneas... Greed is never a good thing.

After a day of regretting and SR-ing, I got the next best thing: Xerneas (Timid) 19/22/31/31/31/31

I'm on the fence with the HP, which is even lower than before. Should I get greedy or just keep this?

You know what? I think I might keep this. Even though I'm good at it, SRing is still a pain-in-the-ass. Took me about 4 1/2 hours:

Timid Articuno
31/x/25/25/31/31

Is 25 a big difference from 31? I don't think it is. It has all the stats to be a good subrooster. Special attacker wanted HP Ground or Fire anyways.

Hello again folks. started a new game around Christmas and finally got around to catching Mewtwo. Just caught one timid with 31/x/31/31/31/30 this ought to be good enough even though it technically will lose the speed war with another timid Mewtwo who has 31 in speed by one point

I think you might be okay? 19 is a little low, but when I was deciding whether to keep my Yveltal I did some calculations and found that with no HP investment the difference between a 22 and a 31 IV was only 9 points at level 100 or 4 points at level 50 where battling apparently happens now. You're looking at a loss of 6 points, which is around 3% of maximum - if you're okay with that then you're good to go.

yeah, besides I got a perfect modest 31/x/31/31/31/31 xerneas on my restart of the game. If I can find a reliable cloner or figure it out myself I'll trade you one

Should I keep this Yveltal?

Yveltal - #717 (Mild)
HP: 31
Att: 29
Def: 4
SpA: 31
SpD: 31
Speed: 31

Possible Hidden Power Types: Dragon
Possible Hidden Power Attack Powers: 66

Ok, my battling buddy has some insane Special Attackers, namely Yveltal, Delphox, and Mega Mewtwo Y, and I don't have anything to counter them. So, I need to get some special/ mixed walls in my team so I can stand a chance. My idea is:
Dusclops @Eviolite/ Leftovers
Sassy, Pressure
IV's: HP,
-Will-O-Wisp/ Toxic
-Confuse Ray
-Calm Mind
-Dark Pulse
Yeah, this might not be an amazing set, but it has some redeeming qualities. Dusknoir only gains 5 more base stat in defense and special defense when dusclops evolves. Eviolite will multiply both Def. and Sp. D by 1.5 which will bring it high enough to hold back some hard hits. Will-O-Wisp will take care of most physical attacks, though toxic can really tear down counter-walls or those that resist dark pulse. Confuse ray can can make a good combo with either will-o or toxic and take care of some attacks towards Dusclops. Calm mind is to take care of the previously mentioned special attackers, and it will boost dark pulse as well. Perhaps I could
Some problems with dusclops as a wall/ tank would be:
-it's lack of reliable recovery
-base HP of 40 -_-
-inability to hurt Yveltal
-and many more, I'm sure

So yeah, tell me about this plans flaws and strengths please.

Caught this Zygarde in the first Dusk Ball I threw today and was kinda excited. But the HP and Def kinda discourage me.

Zygarde - #718 (Adamant)
HP: 12
Att: 31
Def: 3
SpA: 31
SpD: 31
Speed: 30

HP and Defense are too poor - toss (also, Zygarde isn't particularly viable in Ubers).
Edit: It's totally fine if you post here (I think) I'm just pointing it out. Good luck! :)

I used a lvl. 40 +Spe Forewarn Jynx to catch my neutral-natured Xerneas. I caught it and super trained it up in under an hour. Forewarn is cool because you don't even have to attack - if you get your notification before the Aura ability, you reset. Super convenient.

So I have the following RNG'ed legends from 4th Gen:

Rayquaza, Jolly, 31/31/31/1/31/31
Darkrai, Timid, 31,17,31/31/31/31
Kyogre, Modest, 31/31/31/31/31/31
Ho-Oh, Adamant, Pressure, 31/31/30/5/31/31
Mewtwo, Timid, Pressure, 31/31/31/31/31/31
Lugia, Bold, Pressure, 31/31/31/30/31/31
Shaymin (S), Timid, 30/3/30/31/31/31 (HP Ice)

I was wondering if any of these were still viable? I toiled a long time for these, and I'd hate for them to never be used.
