The Everything NFL Thread - 2009

What a load of fucking bullshit, first I lose Owen Daniels and now I lose Ronnie Brown. I had a pretty good chance of winning the whole fucking thing too, thanks for fucking me over and nobody elses rosters in my entire competition injury bug!
lol, you got the gift of Fail Golbat trading you Chris Johnson for Steve Smith.... Somebody needs to take over RB Golbats team, because whoever plays him basically gets a free win (Plus, since my team only plays him once the people that play him twice bank two free wins) =/

Yes because the Colts had a million sacks without Matt Light there, and Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor were obvious 100 yard rushers on that Colts D... Comeon man, even you know a ridiculously injured secondary is worse than those three missing that you named. Yeh Matt Light makes a difference, but its not like that rush D sacked Brady a ridiculous amount of times. Plus, with how many different RBs the Pats use, its not like Fred Taylor or Sammy Morris ever had a big load
Yeah...Fred Taylor has never destroyed the Colts or anything...Colts D...LOL

Lol, Johnson for smith at the Start of the season was an even trade considering I had like weak running backs and RB Golbat had weak Wide Receivers (he hasn't started a second running back all season!). But yeah as the season has worn on, I've gotten the better of the trade ^_^.

P.S - I forgot who you are, but whoever John Madden's Sons is needs to check their team page immediately, got a counter trade offer proposed.

yeah the johnson/smith trade is hilarious looking back on it

if golbat had kept cj, he probably would have won a couple of games lol

also yay for playing him this week

Yeh, RB Golbat has messed us up twice. He not only traded away the best player before week 1, but he hasnt followed his team =/.. Whoever plays him is pretty much guarenteed a free win

I thought it was funny when John Madden's Son team owner said my team was overpowered and Stallion said basically I got lucky on the waiver wire and my players were just peaking early.

That was going into week 6. Since then I've scored:

175
155
190
155
149

Thats an average of 165 points scored lol
I'm looking forward to our rematch next week Stallion :)

Heh turns out your team wasn't just peaking, you really are the team to beat Masaki. Not gonna lie though, pretty much everyone was going for Ray Rice and you picked him up off the waiver wire, so yeah your higher priority pretty much did mean that your aggressive waiver-wiring (Steve Smith too) has put you in the position you are currently in. I'm looking forward to it too, but if I lose by like 15 I'm going to be really mad at Owen Daniels and Ronnie Brown's injuries, and what they pretty much forced me to do to my team (trade Andre Johnson, pick up some piece of shit called Zach Miller). I sincerely hope that Frank Gore and Chris Johnson both have monster games.

Na, I wasnt the one that said your team was overpowered. I was just mad that when we actually played, My team went best mode and Brady just happened to play against me the week he decides to throw a million TD's in the second Q =/

i'm the one that said your team was overpowered lol

and i knew i was right

HELLA right

miami is a pretty decent team. they've lost to some really good teams (except for atlanta) and beaten everyone they should have beaten (although both jets games were pretty fluky)

I think at some point Chad Henne needs to get better if the Dolphins want any sort of shot at wins in the playoffs. Sooner or later teams will find a way to stifle their run game, so their QB needs to step up and show he can throw to keep opposing defenses honest. However, having a solid run game established makes it much easier for an inexperienced QB to ease into his role and get game experience without being put under enormous pressure.

I... drafted Ray Rice =/

Well either way the injuries have been tough. I've been lucky with injuries so far (Pierre Thomas and Marshawn Lynch were really the only players who missed significant time). But one good injury *cough* Tom Brady *cough* could end my season all well.

And Dude, Lakers, you should've won that game. If it wasn't for Ray Rice and Brady going ape shit insane I definitely would've lost D:

And fuck you Ricky Williams |:

I swear Rice was Waivers >.<, ahh well might have been Steve Smith or something. The gambles you took on Rice and Brady were vital in setting up your season to be so solid, that and having the number 1 draft pick lol. Yeah I've had Andre Johnson miss a game and lost two top 20 (top 25 specifically) fantasy players for the year when I realistically had a pretty equal shot with you of winning it all, but now you're definitely the favourite :/.

Colts vs Ravens
Redskins vs Cowboys
Browns vs Lions
49ers vs Packers
Bills vs Jaguars
Steelers vs Chiefs
Seahawks vs Vikings
Falcons vs Giants - could go either way
Saints vs Buccaneers
Cardinals vs Rams
Chargers vs Broncos
Jets vs Patriots
Bengals vs Oakland
Eagles vs Bears
Titans vs Texans

Yeh, my whole season is pretty much based on extremely tough losses =/. I lost one week when Miles Austin was left on 0, until the 4th Q when he only had 1 reception that went for a TD.... Chris Johnson always ruins my week any time im against him in fantasy and when I played you Tom Brady and Ray Rice decided to go monster mode and put up like 85 points combined

Fuck Joe Flacco for throwing an Intercept and fuck Ed Reed for fumbling. Seriously, we should have won that game, fucking Stover.

PS So many epically close games today, GO KANSAS CITY lol

Fuck Jason elam for missing FG (not saying it would've changed the outcome... but still wtf is wrong with him)

Fuck the falcons secondary for a bad job well done :(.

err well hopefully we can beat the eagles and the giants can go on a losing streak... maybe a wildcard spot... maybe the Chargers will save the day with a win... *sigh*. At this point the only thing I see happening with this season is two straight winning seasons in a row... a step backwards in ATL :(

What a load of fucking bullshit, Steelers get robbed of a fucking interception by dumb fucking refs in overtime. Fuck that shit way to hand the game to the Chiefs you cuntbags

Oh if we're still gonna be cussing people out, fuck Brady Quinn for ruining arguably our most important linebackers season, I will actually pay to see someone lay the asshole out >.<. Oh and fuck my fantasy football team for only processing my trade at like 5 AM, meaning that I miss out on Crabtree and his 18 points :(

Well looking back... impressed by the Falcons effort. Matt Ryan didn't throw any INTs and actually made it a game without any sort of running attack ._.

He fumbled the ball and never had possession =/.... Not on the refs to catch the ball for him

Fuck the Lions, the Lions, the Lions, and the Lions.

At least Dallas beat the Chiefs in OT! *pencil in Bengals as AFC North champion*

Well why weren't you up at 12:30 to make last-minute roster changes anyway? :P It's always good practice to do that anyway for injury concerns.
