Saints would have a better division record (5-1 vs. 4-2) so they would get the #2 seedSo if the Saints win next week and the Panthers lose somehow to Atlanta, who gets that #2 seed out of curiosity?

Not really sure how you figure that, as next week would be the determining game for who advances right?I really hope the Cardinals win vs the Seahawks, because I'm willing to give up Clowney for the satisfaction of seeing my Falcons eliminate the 49ers from the playoff race in the last game at Candlestick.
And missed. That's worse of it.john harbaugh just went for a fg attempt down 20-0 in the 4th
who was trying to tell me he wasn't a mediocre coach?
I was actually just about to post about this. It's gotta be hard being a Cardinals or a Rams fan, because I really think both of those teams could've and would've won most of the divisions in football. Either of them would've stomped the whole AFC South without a doubt and likely would've rolled over the NFC Least. The Cardinals are 8-2 outside of their division for fuck sakes, but they're not gonna make the playoffs because they're unlucky to be in a division with the Seahawks AND 49ers.
Yes, who can forget their impressive wins over 4-10 Tampa Bay, 4-10 Atlanta, 2-12 Houston, 4-10 Jacksonville, and 5-9 Tennessee. Let's not forget those wins against slumping Carolina and Indianapolis!
It's a travesty when a 10 win team fails to make the playoffs when an 8 or 9 win team does, but let's not delude ourselves into thinking Arizona is actually a great football team. Sure, they'll be better than some of the teams that make the playoffs (Indianapolis and the #6 seed in the AFC at least) but they are clearly #7 in the NFC at best. If they can beat San Francisco in week 17 to secure a wild card, I'll eat my hat.
(they won't)
It's nice to see a team like Arizona have success with a respectably talented yet young roster, but just because they play in the toughest division in football, doesn't mean they're great by association. They have yet to prove themselves worthy of being a playoff team with only win within divisional play, and with their remaining two games being @Sea and vs SF, they're looking at finishing 1-5 versus NFC West opposition.
If you do not think the Cowboys are the most entertaining mediocre team of the season, then you are nuts. Cowboys, Lions, Chargers are by far the teams with their shit the least together, and none of them keep every game up in the air as well as Cowboys (if anything Lions mostly went on a good run then a bad run, the bad run is just mind boggling). Cowboys and Chargers are both taking dumps on historically great QB performances, 2 of the indisputable top 6 guys of this year.
Ravens are definitely the next most entertaining fuckup, in their case a great defense being shit on by the worst player to ever get that much money in any sport.
Can we please just have Rodgers back already?
Pretty please?
