People giving the Panthers shit, the Saints are one of the most dominating home teams in the NFL. Even I said I expected a split. That game doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know. 1) Our secondary needs a shit load of improvement 2) We have a weak wide recieving corps. Some Hero, your previous post quoting mine, your attempt to be a NFL analyst failed simply due to the fact that your implying a team needs a super star reciever to be a competent offense. The Panthers have an old steve smith, an average branden lafell, a decent tight end, and an over acheiving ted ginn. It's nothing special but honestly it's not much worse then the Raven's offense last year. They had a young Torrey Smith who was decent, but Bolden was shit most of the season, and they had literally noone else. Jacoby Jones was our Ted Ginn basically, and they had a good RB and we have Cam, Tolbert, and two average backs.
We don't need a 200 yard reciever, we just need guys who can catch the ball who aren't 33 years old. (Although if we had a 3rd round pick this year we would have had kennen allen 100%) What frustrates me is your passive aggressive attitude lol. You act like a know it all, and constantly bash teams and consistently fail to ever pick up anything positive. But I bet you could probably have no problem telling me why the Giants are a superbowl winning team this year if you really wanted to. (your welcome for beason btw, the best part of your season by far).
The Panthers remind me a lot of the Seahawks from last year. And I wouldn't be surprise if our finish is similar to theirs. Hell, for all we know the Panthers might do something impressive. The Panthers already exceeded my expectations coming into the season ^_^
Also I didn't feel discouraged at all. The Saints have been quite floppy vs the Rams in recent memory, and with a home game against the Saints who knows what might come of it. As long as the Panthers beat the Jets and the Falcons i'll be happy. A secured playoff spot is all I want rn ^_^
