If you want to look at it that way, then what is Farve's YPA? I'm sure he doesn't get above that number every time, or under it every time. It's an average. Meaning all things concerned, AP got 9.3 YPC.
No matter what your player not team comment was meant for, shutting down a team does not equal shutting down x player.
The fact of the matter is Brady is playing better football right now, I know their teams overall skill level isn't really close, but that's not how you can really judge the MVP.
Sure, the 82 yard pass is more exciting, but Brady is probably going to break the TD record for a reason, and they were probably up by a large margine for a reason. Farve is great this year, and I believe the packers can go places, you don't need to convince me. However, Brady and the PATS are playing better. Most of us aren't PATS fans, you just did a great job of stirring everybody up.
edit:
Kind of unrelated, but as other people have said: Brady's first year with a good receiving duo/trio, and he's likely to break the Season TD record held by the guy who is 'possibly the best quarterback ever.' Brady has had great season after season with borderline- awful receivers, and now they're better in ever when you give him the personnel. He [his team] has also one the biggest game of the entire season, that's MVP. =/
edit2: [Because I don't want to waste another post.]
I told you exactly how you didn't shutdown AP, he average 9.3 yards on 12 attempts despite you wanting to take his longest run away from him. And I also covered that beating the Vikings is NOT shutting down AP. You're right, no one is going to win it in Minnesota, I was covering other dumb things you have posted in this topic. Nobody will be bringing home an MVP for a while in GreenBay, either. vvvv
