I drafted this on Sunday. I got Zajac 170th overall, and Khabibulin was my third last pick.
 
Decided I'm going to finally buy a Nordiques jersey, after going for an original I decided to settle for a good looking counterfeit. Just have to find one.

In my search I found this fantastic example of a great Nordique player:

That's right, Paul Stastny is indeed a Nordique player. Who knew. (And not going to buy it ;) )
 
The ole nordiques....personally I am a fan of the la third jerseys and I think they might be the sickest in the league. The black ones with la on them and then like a pendant ish looking thing...I dunno

Not sure if serious, but Peter Stastny played for the Nordiques (and wore 26 then).

On the subject of masks: I've always been partial to Nabokov's one, the one with the two skeletons curling their fists? Not sure what that reference is to, but I've always loved it.

And dirty hit on Franzen. Jesus that guy has the baddest string of bad luck in the history of ever. Injured in the beginning of the season again. I really don't want to see him out til Febuary; he's just too fun to watch.

Shame that the Sakic jersey I wanted to order was suddenly out of stock.
Search to a proper Nordiques jersey for a good price continues.
 
LOL@ fLAMES' "#1" line...iginla / jokinen / tanguay total of 0 points and -4 in 3 games.

Though they do have 29 total shots from that line (this includes PP time obv and I don't know if they play together on that). That's the only semi decent stat for that line, as averaging a little above 3 shots per game from each member of your line at least means you're doing something.

Hopefully for my favorite finn Kipper (and my fantasy team with iginla :P), these shots start going in...
 
Proposed new design for what Vineon? Did I miss something about the Nordiques returning?

Sleeves indeed look awesome, would order one right off the bat ;)
 
I was surprised how many of them I recognized prior to noticing the names were listed(everyone but Lapierre). Cruel of them putting Gionta next to Gill like that...

Not really diggin the checker print but still voting Gionta for best dressed. I'd tap that. as long as that vest comes with a stepstool...

Toronto... omang. Clarke MacArthur is... a beast? How long is this going to last?
 
I picked him up on waivers (dropped Huet, didn't even notice I had him), should I look into dumping him when he goes like, two games without scoring?
