soo... if nobody is checking for hacks, I think I would have dropped out anyway, actually ^^;
If nobody is checking the locations caught and such... you can just hack yourself some safari balls and use the wild modifier >>;

But you fail to realize that most people are not cock suckers who would do that for a shiny kangaskan. Take me for example who could create perfect legit safarimon from scratch without any hack checker being able to catch me, but i won't, because I do not suck on cock, because I'm in it for the fun of the tourney and i get no self satisfaction out of cheating. So yes people can but most won't I am certain

honestly. if someone wanted a shiny kanga that bad they'd just hack the kanga and avoid all possibilty of losing to someone. I think this contest looks realy interesting but I have to be content to just watch and read
 
Ruko I think you just haven't been around to realize how things work around here. Most people don't hack.

I especially doubt anyone who is already in this tourney would hack. The prize is awesome because it's something you never ever see for real.
 
I dont see many people on the list that i would consider a liability to hack..maybe goodbar but eh..

That said, I dont think this was in the OP, but is the tourny gonna be Swiss style or Single Elimination or what?
 
I still haven't found my emerald. And I still need 2 more to finish my team. I was wondering if we have to use the same team throught the entire tourney?

Nope! You could switch up to every Pokemon every round you're in, if you wanted to.

did you not read what he said or are you just stupid? He said he could make a perfectly legit hack, so it wouldn't come out on a check anyway.
 
Still working on catching stuff. If I get too close to the deadline and I'm not done yet, I'll have to just use mediocre IVs. :P I still have to EV everything. D:
 
This thread was the one that finally made me register here - the idea of a safari zone metagame is a great one. I'd definitely be up for the next one, as I have one good team member and the two next ones kind of came naturally from that, but beyond that my inexperience at competitive battling shows :(

I'm more than pleased that I could provide something of such interest to draw those to this tournament that might not otherwise. I had figured the Safari Zones were diverse enough in Pokemon, and the method of catching even more unique, that it provided different challenges to different levels of players, yet still making it a relatively equal (or chancy in catching) playing field. Sorry there hadn't been enough for the second bracket this time around. Perhaps there will be an increase in popularity for next time.

I haven't been here long enough to know the morals of people, but I'm entirely against the use of AR for any purpose; that would include cloning [which I'm fairly certain is a regular thing here], using a 100% capture rate code, even speeding up egg hatching :P
Not that any of those last three can be traced, I'm just against them.
