The Hobbies of Smogon

I read a lot. I have like 80 books on my shelf I haven't read yet. I used to bowl -- I originally went to college to bowl but since moved on from it, but I still keep up with the PBA and how the best college bowlers are doing. Beyond that I've learned I am a workaholic (worked 4 part-time jobs last semester). I'm starting my second and final year on the executive committee for student government and I never thought it'd consume the amount of time it does or that it'd suck the life out of me. I loved it last year though! I probably won't this year!

Outside of Pokémon, I'm into travel and hiking (when I can afford to!) I've been to Snowdonia a few times in the UK and it's been a blast. Outside of that I enjoy videogames (duh), reading, and I'm actually attempting to start a sci-fi novel. Whether I actually get anywhere with it is another question. -_-

Art:

- Drawing
- Writing
- Photography

Sports:

- Running (every three days)
- Weight Lifting (every other day)
- Football (season's just starting up for me)
- Rugby (season's just ended, but I'm still keeping up with 7s)
- Wrestling, but not so much anymore, as I have a knee injury that just so happens to act up when i'm wrestling.
- Swimming

Recreation

- Reading is my favorite thing to do; I need to do it more often though, I'm starting to lose time for it.
- Watching moves
- Reading manga (definitely different from reading books, js)
- I have certain TV shows that I watch
- Walking in the park
- Gaming (namely Pokémon, Street Fighter, and Super Mario)

And yet with all this I still manage to be bored.

Soccer, Swimming, Ultimate, and Disc Golf are sports I'm into, Xbox is always good, and so is watching twitch streams. Basically how my summer is gonna go.

Video games are probably my biggest hobby, but besides that...reading, watching TV, competitive Pokemon, various forums on the internetz.

used to play golf quite a lot, starting to get back into it more this summer

i read quite a lot and spend a considerable amount of time sleeping when i have the chance.......

Apart from Pokemon, I enjoy playing TF2 (best game ever) and I've recently been enjoying Saints Row the Third. Non-gaming-but-still-related-to-computers-stuff includes browsing Reddit, deviantART, and YouTube, and I've just recently picked up HTML and CSS through school, so I guess you could say that I program websites too.

Outside of that, I read like crazy (when I can find the books, they don't last too long), listen to heavy bass music way too loud, and go on bike rides (both easy mountain biking and riding down the streets). I also play recreational soccer and work as a soccer referee. Oh yeah, and friends. I have a few of those.

EDIT: Just remembered, I picked up a djembe through church a while back, and I've been playing that in the youth band. I'm okay at it, given that I've had it for all of a month.

Games, Coding, Watching TV, attempting to come up with a feasible idea for a video game (it's usually something about hamsters), and trying to find a good anime/manga. Otherwise I sleep and eat.

Other than Pokemon (obviously), I play club soccer every weekend for a team with a 10-game losing streak and duruing summer I play Oz-Tag (basically touch football, but tackles are denoted by ripping tags attached to the hips of the players) for a team which has managed to get the prestigious Wooden Spoon two summers in a row. I also enjoy reading, though I've been neglecting that hobby slightly as of late, and I play the odd game of League of Legends.

I want to learn a programming language, probably Javascript or Python, sometime in the near future, as I enjoy fiddling with computers and I see no reason why I wouldn't be able to make a foray into programming. Learning an actual, verbal language (my eyes are on either French or an Asian language at the moment, but who says I can't learn two?) wouldn't be too bad either, as being monolingual is lame.
