this is going nowhere folks
also what happened to thisOkay, I'll recap what I've said over the course of D3.
- Scumreads before D3 were Asek, Light, and Leet, but unsure about Asek and Leet being scum together because they keep going after each other.
- Metal's snowball wagon is a good place for scum to smokescreen behind "he had it coming" and is comprised of my Townreads and null reads. Therefore my previous reads must be wrong somewhere.
- DLE and Moody not scum together because "oh I'm still behind" + drunk AMA = too much theatrics.
- DLE's drunk AMA subject to scrutiny but getting Townpings off some of the reactions there. Reread outside of drunk AMA is null.
- Yeti is only scum if deepwolfing, would only lynch if we're having a hard time finding the third scum.
- Aura reads like the catalyst to the lynch of a player with a poor attitude and little clout in the game, who wouldn't budge off scumreading Aura's slot and thus had to be nudged into playing himself.
- Light and Moody have said little not only about Aura, but about Empoof. In a game where idlers drew immediate and somewhat divisive attention, this seems like there's possibility for scum here.
- Asek's still scummy, but the possibility of bussing needs to be weighed.
- The reread on Former is still a work in progress, but he was looking good coming into it.
but then this. Does scum KOC actually push for Asek to be first lynched here? ngl I don't think so.Eh, Asek > Warein > DLE in term of slank lynching. DLE's got a job and Walrein's got... video games.
Only a few things stick out to me here
- theres an odd link between prophylaxis and koc in that proph keeps preferring to engage knights over any other player and knights keeps weirdly sucking him off and making excuses to not vote him / join the wagon. i think this has potential to be buddying either way, potentially s/s
- koc feels like most of their posts are gas? like they arent contributing anything to the discourse that is happening in what i think is real time conditions? like theyve definitely made a lot of posts but a lot of it is 'hm i can see you are voting x. but i dont want to join / offer an alternative' wolfy.
- former hopes mason thing at the start was anti town play, but theyve felt consistently tonally pure. theyre exhibiting a sense of wanting to solve moreso then most of the other slots itg during my read where reading half this shit was going through the motions instead of reading interesint / enjoyable content like the d1 of last game
- im going to iso yeti to try generate a read i dont have 1 atm soz. i do remember that weird post on koc which felt like it may have been a pocket attempt. gonna stew on that
- moody popped in and their contributions seemed largely to be going along with the flow. their posts seemed innocent enough but i didnt really get any impression / read from them.
hawkie
fh
moody yeti metal sonic
texas
koc proph
dle walrein empoof lw
Rule of 3 here says that leet is likely scum (aka when scum tend to do this, it's fairly common for them to put 1 scum in a threesome)i went for a swim and kind of came around on the idea of lynching in texas / walrein / prophylaxis for now
Some of the random stuff that made me SR them in the first place. But at this point I do think this play was scum asek going "I don't think anyone is buying this KOC push so I'm going to push someone else" which again makes KOC seem townmainly off knights because i always always sr them and as last game proved im not always right. ill give them some space to breath for today
KOC instantly votes Asek after texas asks. This is either next level scum bussing or KOC is town.I think my lynch pool is Asek and Hitmon now. I'd say Texas and Metal becoming hunting buddies is a little off kilter, but that way lies tinfoil.
vote Asek
Pushes empoof/AG here for behavior (and lol, I said I would do analysis even though here I'm just stating events. That said, this particular push from him. Maybe a bus? idk, I actually feel from this one post that he's genuinely pushing AG here but my current dislike of his play makes me honestly just want to read this as a well played buss.its pretty obvious if you put any critical thought into it
lightwolf played with a similar level of activity at this point in the last game
empoof probably had well over 100 posts by this stage
one is consistent with past behavior the other isnt.
How to: read this postfeels like its the same 5 people posting in this shithole but im insanely weirded out by people wanting to lynch the lw slot for idling over dle and especially empoof
Hmm...D1 analysis. Would Proph really be an all town wagon? Like, of the 3 I'm fairly certain KOC is town, limbo with moody and scum lean DLE. Asek also parks his vote on leet....Votals the Ninth
Prophylaxis (7): Hawkie, MoodyCloud, Texas, FormerHope, KnightsofCydonia, DLE, Yeti
Hitmonleet (2): Asek, Proph
LightWolf (1): Hitmonleet
Empoof (1): Metal Sonic
Not Voting: Light Wolf, Empoof
Another good moody post vs asekactually wanted to lynch this d3 rather than d2 and look into lightwolf/asek today but would have lynched either way
hope you weren't pulling mindgames with your "why was I not recruited" post
Actually yeah. On 2nd read. This is a pretty shallow read and feels more like it came from a buss than something else.Reads:
Asek - don't think I've seen much of him from the people I've previously viewed. I think I've found my new next ISO. But what I remember is a couple flurries of posts that only have a couple that have content in them. lean scum
LW posts his take on Asek. This read is better than AGs at least but incorperating the yeti/me thoughts into there is ew.Asek I want to respond to my wall and then have a nice long talk to him. I scum read him last game and he was on the top of my list to get shot, but this game I am not seeing the same signs I saw last game that made me falsely suspect him. This makes him one of my bigger suspects left with Texas and Hawkie both being dead, which obviously does not bode well for my thought processes.
I like thisyeah Asek d3 not looking good, no substance whatsoever. That one "retards" post felt like it wouldn't come naturally from scumAsek but can't give that slot a pass today.
Lightwolf's tone, apologetic behavior and way too wide lynch pool are concerning but I don't really know what to look for here
looking at AG/DLE now but I'll probably be voting one of AG/asek
vote AG
Well this happened. So how do you see DLE getting to MS to l-1 now?if Asek is mafia I would look at DLE getting MS to L-1 differently (yes there is some irony to be found here) and drop that into the lynch pool
don't think FH is ever mafia with Asek here after he appeared to be jumping to conclusions regarding Texas' call to lynch Asek
AG defends asek here. Which is weird af given that he leaned scum him earlier.None
if town, None
if mafia, None
I don't think the mafia is in that pool.
LW answers asek here. I do like this post.Firstly, Yeti was most definitely the originator of the Walrein subbed because he pulled scum twice and with no yeti on his team he just lost interest and subbed when he couldnt keep up. But your answer was satisfactory.
Next, the problem is exactly that you laid the groundwork for the hitmomleet, yet didn't actively pursue it, rather you waited for the engagement you never got, which and you surely agree, creates the image of you not really seeming to care to prevent the proph lynch despite being for a different one. This is compounded on by the next point:
Lastly, you bothered to throw shade at texas at a quite pointless moment instead of engaging people on your prefered lynch. Now why I called it a defense is because you are addressing a something texas did that would put you on the chopping block, by discrediting him for making that statement in the first place. The thing is, that was completely irrelevant at that point, and bringing it up again only served to get the proph lynch through as it'd only lead to arguments that are unrelated to it. It was neither the time and place for it and I dont see why youd bring it up.
As for my questions, please address my perceived difference in style from last game that I am seeing by comparing my big wall post of last game to this game's, and attempt to explain the differences I note.
Also feel free to address any of my other comments on posts you made besides the above 3, I suggest starting with the eurobeat.
Wow you weren't kidding about this thread being quiet and dead for periods of timeCall me out Former, but the thread gets lonely with these long silences.
Currently read through first 42 pages. After that i still have isos to do to cement reads. Im working on it moody3P1K please get caught up asap because I will lynch you in lylo if it comes down to it
4 people have now agreed that Mason should claim today if they exist(yes AG the point of doing it today is so that scum can't safely false claim it at lylo, there not being a 3rd one is considered in this plan).this is going nowhere folks
That can't be a trap card, we lynched Asek yesterday!I'm putting a card on the table face down and saying yes they should claim today
We should lynch scum, after mason is clear up.Thoughts on the lynch, perhaps?
Im currently not entirely caught up; however your logic for it checks out with me just by looking at the current living RL; Im fine with the theoretical third mason claiming now if it were to exist.4 people have now agreed that Mason should claim today if they exist(yes AG the point of doing it today is so that scum can't safely false claim it at lylo, there not being a 3rd one is considered in this plan).
This leaves MoodyCloud Former Hope and 3P1K without agreeing with the plan of having the mason claim. Again I want this resolved as quickly as possible and we're running out of time. Please weigh in now, trust me this is important.
In which if the mason wishes to take that angle optimal play would be to play through today and tommorow's lylo without claiming. If my understanding of the situation is accurate is no excuse for a mason to claim tommorow (unless we lynch scum today); implying a town lynch today it should either be claiming today or the day after the next lylo. You're neglecting the possibility that final mason, if they exist, feels claiming to be a bad idea and that only they can make that decision.
ngl, as I actually read day 4 (at this point, end of page 79) this post strikes me as very "thou protest too much"-yOkay, if you were referring to this, then my main reason for not going after asek, or much at all, was because I didn't want to say much while sick, because it just made me unable to care much about anything. When I made the post Moody quoted (and which is not quoted here, but was quoted in the post I'm quoting - something re: automatic quote generation?) I didn't want to decide anything due to general "ugh I want this over with" of my sickness coloring my decisions. The hammer vote: I was starting to get better, and remembered how little impression Asek's posts made despite the strings of posts and some being big. Also, my track record of finding scum from nothing was real bad in previous NOCs; I'm far better when I look at people who are already in the light and choose one. Or at least, after Company Mafia and some others before then, it felt that way to me. Time could have distorted this by a lot for me, though. But it still feels that way to me.
