I was just thinking to myself...otuside of the forums which one of us has the biggest name? is anyone here famous lol? Anyone an office holder? Murder? Ball palyer? Singer?
 
sigh. I was hoping we could find someone who actually is world known that secretly plays pokemon or something
 
I don't know if he has an account here, but william hung (the really bad singer from American Idol that got a record deal) plays competitive Pokemon. apparently he sharks too! celebrities are such a bad influence on kids these days..

At 3 I received $30,000 for winning the FujiFilm "Kids in Action" Contest. My picture was in magazine ads all across the country.

Apparantly we were offered a ride in the Fujifilm blimp but my mom said no so we got 5k extra instead.

I won the world championship for the dragonball Z card game. for a couple of years you could google my name and a picture of ME would come up. Not true now that the game is dead :( at the time it was the second largest card game too (second to magic of course).
 
I was in a teletubbies episode when I was younger, in the part when they go into that screen, we were given a cup with nothing in it and told to pretend to drink and also told to fake eating biscuits, I was so annoyed, I wanted a real biscuit :(
 
I was at a point last season where I was quite well known for my running and was making appearances in the local papers every week. Ended the season as the third-highest ranked XC runner in the North East of England. I think the nicest moment when I was just picking up some stuff at a running store in town and I heard two guys a few feet away mention my name...at first I thought they were talking to me but then it became apparent they hadn't even seen me so I just lurked around and listened to them talking about me from afar...they seemed to think quite highly of me so I was flattered. I considered introducing myself but it just felt quietly satisfying to slip away with a smirk on my face.

So yeah, that's the best I've got. Don't think it counts as world renowned but what the heck were you expecting seriously?

I yearly win a competition for the piano teachers society of America, so I've played 8 times at Weil recital hall at Carnegie hall for those of you that know what that is.

I've played there twice myself back when I was a musician, and standing on that stage looking out and around is pretty fucking amazing.
 
Awww! Little Jimbo and little ET are fucking adorable.

I don't really want to explain, but I wanted to make this post have more substance :x When I was little (~8-11), I used to do something professionally that made me nationally famous. I guess the 'precocious little girl' gimmick was really marketable. ~__~ The pressure got too much so I just retreated into myself, but I live in a country town so people still fucking recognise me. I was at the video store the other day and the lady recognised me and asked if I was still doing this thing, blah blah blah, and I freaked out, dropped my stuff, and began stammering like a loser. Because I'm not, and I don't want to ever again.

...also I know someone around here who named their baby after me because they wanted it to grow up talented and also because they like my name. (I don't KNOW the person, per se, they just approached me once. orz.)

Man, I cannot stop looking at little Jimbo! That is a nice photo xD! And you were/are so cuuuute.

ETA: Carl, do you have a higher-resolution picture of the On cover? I wanna read the text on it. I can only read the headline.
 
the jonas brothers went to my high school, they switched out before I switched in though so I never met them. from what I hear nobody really liked them before they became famous either =x
