It's not that big of an emergency for another big guy. They have Tony Battie who ended up being injured all of last year, so he's a good veteran biggie to help out a bit. He'll pretty much have a Kurt Thomas role to Amare for the 2006-2007 Suns.

i can't fucking wait for the boston-cleveland game tonight. i can't remember being more excited for a single basketball game in a long time. this game will determine the series. we have lebron, so it's possible for a game 7 win i guess, but tonight is the game of the series. we have the momentum, and we are playing solid basketball.

you can say all you want about how LeBron is shooting, but he's still the best player of this series. his last two games have been absolutely stellar. 13 assists? defensive blocks and of course that ejaculation over kg. one of the most underrated things about LeBron is his passing ability...which sometimes becomes hazardous but mostly just produces nice looks at the basket for our team mates. when we have Wally, Boobie, Joe Smith, and Z, who has been more consistent than anyone this series, and even sometimes West shooting the way they have you have to agree that we have a solid team. Wally and Boobie are drilling 3s and Joe Smith and Z are hitting every open 20 footer that LeBron dishes them. again, special mention to Z, who I feel is established as an OK center with unusually superb benefits like ridiculous tips, rebounds, and 20 footers. for a guy that's 7'3". I still hate it when Z posts up and tries that ugly turnaround jumper, though. Use his fucking strengths, have LeBron set him up that wide open jumper off of that pick 'n roll and almost every time we'll get that shot.

well that's my rant for today. i'm still sticking with my prediction of cavs in 6. we have all the momentum, and everyone is playing so well, tonight is going to be the night we strike in boston. we've been down 0-2 before, and look what happens. LeBron himself is scary vs any team, and when the rest of our guys are playing the way they are, well...look out eastern conference.

also, cavs-lakers finals. it will be epic.

even if cavs get past boston (which i hope they do) I think detroit will be able to beat them in the conference finals. The fact is that celtics have very little playoff experience, whereas detroit are one of the most experienced teams there are. Also, detoit are still sore about that 4 game streak last year so they'll be out for revenge.

sucks for cleveland fans. i mean, hopefully we can take game 6 and strike back in game 7, but damn. we had a 13 point lead in the 1st half and blew it.

it all started when rondo hit 2 consecutive 3s

Fuck. I really hope the NO refs aren't as screwed up as the SA ones. I mean, having your 2 stars getting 6 fouls and 1 technical in a quarter ruins your energy like anything.

I'm extremely impressed with Boston right now. Lebron is having a good game, but the rest of the team is being held to just about nothing. Doc said that Lebron could have a good game and they could still win, so hopefully that remains true. I'm going on vacation though so I won't be able to see the second half.

Fucking right baby!!!

P.J. Brown!

Lol, i love that guy. He's doing so much for the team in the 4th.

Quick Comment before I go watch the rest. LeBron is gay.

Edit; How choice was it, for Pierce to be the one to handle the game 7 for the Celtics. Good work.

HELL YEAH, THATS HOW WE DO IT THATS HOW WE DO IT

lets just hope the celts learn from this and learn how to win in the palace, cause its gunna be very hard to win all 4 home games vs detroit.

and how convenient for those hornets that they get 4 days off between game 6 & 7, very convenient for david west! I really dont want the spurs to win yet again.

Nice job by the celtics. I was rooting for cleveland, but now I hope that the celtics win. They are old and may not have another chance.

Meh, Celtics got lucky, they would have been finished long ago had LeBron been playing more consistant and better.

*roots for anything other than Lakers/Spurs and/or Celtics/Detroit Finals*

Funny thing is, the same can be applied to the Celtics and Ray Allen (and Pierce too, since he struggled much of the series like LeBron, just not as much as Allen).

Allen is going to have to get out of his slump if the Celtics want a chance against Detroit.
