all star game was kinda meh, besides the last 5 minutes. LBJ rightfully deserved MVP of the game, but ray allen and chris paul also played great for a close 2nd/3rd place.

kinda boring imo, i'd rather watch a regular season celts game.

ps: ray ray pulled a RONDO with the behind the back fake scoop pass, then going up for the layup! hes learning from that guy!

James, who won his second All-Star MVP in three years on Sunday in New Orleans, finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. It was his fifth triple-double this season and career No. 15.

Damn a wasted triple-double, we still lost to the Rockets ;_; Oh well.

Way to go raptors, blowing out orlando :)

CB4 dominated, as did calderon. If we could play like this consistently we could beat any team in the east.

KOBE!!

I don't normally watch the NBA since it's pretty boring but I did watch Suns/Lakers and it wasn't completely abysmal. Shaq looked pretty awful in the first half but he turned it up in the second.. if he plays like that second half on a semi consistent basis that trade might not be a complete failure.

Whats that? Yeah thats right the Lakers made the Suns their bitches for the 3rd time in four season meetings. Thing is, Suns fans can't bitch about so and so being injured cause they had a full strength side :D

Yeah Jason Kidd sure looked awesome tonight. I know no one is on Chris Paul's level, but there is no way Jason Kidd will help us beat Chris Paul.

And a totally new player debuting and a removal of a former key component of the team. Yeah, bitches.

Wally can help them a little, I suppose..but the Cavs are deluded if they think adding Ben Wallace is going to help them contend for the finals (let alone bet the Magic or Celtics or Pistons when push comes to shove).

I'm going to wait and see how the addition of Big Ben and Wally to the Cavs pans out, but I do have my doubts about Ben Wallace.

Pretty convinced that they got worse on both ends of the court. Ben Wallace brings you exactly zero offense, and he's a horrible fit next to Ilgauskas; West is really underrated imo but he'll be a backup; Wally is really overrated imo; yeah he'll benefit from LeBron but he won't make up for the loss of a solid player and defender like Hughes, and a good all-around PF like Gooden.

I'm happy though because arguably our chief rivals get a whole lot weaker.

- gooden
+ ben

idk about you guys, but i'd rather have gooden at the moment, but its debatable.

- hughes
+ wally

might as well say -defense, + shooting, i think this will help the cavs, but not nearly enough. The main parts of the trade were just average at best, but its the other players involved that intrigue me. Delonte West & Joe Smith are two decent players, Delonte has a chance of being the best reason for the trade. Sure, throw in my celts bias, but im sure he will help the cavs.

Phoenix destroyed Boston, they never had the lead and got into foul trouble in the first quarter so now Phoenix faces Detroit. Go Suns.

When everyone on the Pistons scores, even Juan Dixon the new guy, you know something's going right.

Detroit will win, sorry Zenigame :)

I'm sick of "superstar treatment". The Cavaliers literally get every call to go their way. LeBron should have been called for an offensive foul at the end, but hey it's LeBron and you can't call fouls on LeBron, can you?

It also sickens me that BSPN talked about how "shorthanded" the Cavs were when we're missing our two best players; that two other starters are playing withg injuries that would keep them on the bench if we weren't so thin, that the players who are healthy are either rookies or generally unproductive...

The media doesn't even seem to understand that we have been playing without two bona-fide NBA superstars for the past 13 games.

Complete bullshit.

EDIT: Now, because I'm mentioning our injury situation, don't get me wrong.

I will make this clear right now: Eddie Jordan is the worst coach in the National Basketball Association.

Worse than Isaiah. Worse than Skiles. Worse than anyone you can think of.

His "offense" wouldn't cut it in fucking AAU. The only reason it had any success is because we had three fucking all-stars, and really an all-star and two legit NBA superstars. Take those away and he's a joke. He has no idea of playcalling, doesn't comprehend matchups "hi i'm going to go small even though 6-8 shooting guard/small forward LeBron James is playing PF and they only had one legitimate big man", he doesn't get his players ready to play, his superstar has no respect for him, and he literally plays favorites. He has outright said he doesn't care about defense; Grunfield had to bring in Ayers to force this team to play D.

the celts have gotten some horrible calls this road trip. You know somethings wrong when the other team shoots 21 more free throws in a game...(vs denver). Also wayy to many bad offensive fouls called against phoenix, that one with garnett on stoudamire was like wtf? he walked into garnetts arm, didnt even push him, OFFENSIVE FOUL, and then garnett had to be taken out, and thats when phoenix made there huge end of the half run.

Worst game of the season by far against phoenix, that was just flat out horrible. We need to get back home to get the groove back, i wouldnt be suprised if we continue lose until we get back home unfortunately. We just dont have that spark right now that we've had the rest of the season. A win in new orleans would be HUGE for us though, to show even in when we're in our worst, we can still bring out our A game, but honestly, im not expecting it at the moment.

To be fair, the Cavs were pretty shorthanded. Between injuries to half their bench, and half of their bench and starters being traded they hardly even had a team. That's why players that basically have never played in the NBA came out of nowhere to play this game. Lemme think, Hughes, Gooden, Verajao, Pavlovic, even Donyell Marshal. Five players that see game time on a daily basis unavailable with no real replacements yet. Do you have any idea how many players five is to an NBA team? This left the team at:
Lebron, Gibson, Ilgauskus, Snow (doesn't even start normally), with no bench. I'm sure I forgot a player in there, but you get the idea.
