Bouffalant @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Sap Sipper / Soundproof
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Megahorn

There isn't really much you can run on Bouffalant without diving away from the standard SD sets, banded sets, and AV sets, so have this I guess. Toxic allows you to cripple switch-ins such as Misdreavus and Gourgeist while Silk Scarf bluffs a choice set and still gives you power in your main STAB.

Bouffalant @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
Happiness: 0
EVs: 248 HP / 88 SpD / 172 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Frustration
- Protect
- Toxic
Actually a really solid set, it's a nice utility check to a ton of stuff thanks to bulk and is able to take on foes like audino and vullaby quite nicely with taunt toxic, with the added benefit since they normally switch in. Speed beats neutral missy. As for why you'd use this over standard bouff, if you want a utility stall breaker that takes on grass there's not much that actually covers this role and it also comes with surprise potential and lack of random exploitable weaknesses with just 1

Bouffalant @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Sap Sipper / Soundproof
EVs: 248 HP / 136 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Endeavor
- Return
- Earthquake / Stone Edge

Nothing special with this set, just try to get a free Substitute off against something that Bouffalant can handle and just wear the opponent down with Endeavor if Bouffalant's health is low enough, or just spam Return or Earthquake. Stone Edge is here so you aren't walled by Ghost-types.

Rain in my fro (Bouffalant) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rain Dance
- Taunt / Toxic
- Frustration
- Earthquake / Toxic

A lot of rain teams end up having a hard time setting up Rain Dance against threats like Jumpluff and Grass-types in general, so here's a bulky immunity that also gets Rain Dance. It's ran fast enough to stop Jolly Golem from setting SR with Taunt, but you could go bulkier if your team needs a more dedicated setter. While it gets Surf and is funny that way, its SpA requires investment even in Rain to do stuff like OHKO Golem. Toxic gets a slash so it can do work against Ghosts / bulky Grass-types that would wall you otherwise. lol use this at your own discretion D:

Bouffalant @ Power Herb
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Skull Bash
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Return

Have you ever wanted a bouffalant that doesn't fear Stoutland? Well, now you can!
Seriously though, Skull Bash is a STAB base 130 attack coming off of Bouffalant's nice attack stat, and the defense buff lets you survive a lot of random stuff, even with no investment.

252+ Atk Choice Band Relicanth Head Smash vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Bouffalant: 327-385 (98.7 - 116.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Relicanth Head Smash vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Bouffalant: 219-258 (66.1 - 77.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Bouffalant: 400-472 (120.8 - 142.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Stoutland Superpower vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Bouffalant: 268-316 (80.9 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Earthquake and Megahorn are good coverage and Return is reliable STAB after the power herb is consumed.

bouffalant doesn't need innovation to be good...

Bouffalant @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Return
- Earthquake / Swords Dance

Bouffalant can run a Rest/Talk set because of its high attack and natural bulk. Rest provides reliable recovery for Bouffalant while Return can whittle down opponents. Earthquake can be used in the last slot as coverage or Swords Dance to boost Bouffalant's attack to higher levels. This set lets Bouffalant have an increased longevity as well as wallbreaking.
