Vikingraider, your starter is Torchic named Calzone. It must learn (and keep) Flamethrower to evolve to Combusken, and it must learn (and keep) Sky Uppercut to evolve to Blaziken. It cannot learn any two moves of the same type (IE: No two Fire moves, no two Fighting moves); obey this as soon as possible.

@viking raider

i give you "ImExtinct" the Relicanth. if its ability is swift swim, teach it rain dance and a water type move, if its ability is rock head, teach it both sandstorm and a rock move. it has to KO at least two pokemon that belong to wally while under the weather move it learns.

So, starting Sapphire run.

Team:
-Shroomish that knows spore, evolve by E4
-Magnemite from New Mauville named MsFrizzle, may no fight against Wallace, must know HP
-Gulpin-evolve to Swalot at lvl 30+, no TM/HM ever
-Skarmory-must know spikes and either whirlwind or roar
-Torchich starter, named Calzone, must have flamethrower to evolve into Combusken, must have sky uppercut to evolve into Blaziken, must keep both evolution move, can't have two moves of 3 types
-ImExtinct the Relicanth. If its ability is swift swim, teach it rain dance and a water move, if its ability is rock head, teach it both sandstorm and a rock move. It has to KO at least two pokemon that belong to wally while under the weather move it learns.

Defeated Fatina and Barry, so it's time for the update!

Rai's 3rd Badge Update!

391.png

Liketurtle, the Relaxed Male Lv 28 Grotle
Bite
Curse
Mega Drain
Razor Leaf

Summary:
Grotle is still the good old, same set-up sweeper it always was. However, Absorb has changed to Mega Drain for better HP recovery, and more power.

Recent Events:
Grotle actually did better against Fatina than I thought it would. I set-up against Duskull, and then got Will-O-Wisp'ed at +3. My attack, however, was still higher than it's starting point, and I OHKO'ed Duskull with Bite... but not before taking Future Sight and two lots of Burn damage. I then survived a Psybeam from Mismagius, and almost OHKO'ed it as well. Grotle then bit the dust, but it was my MPV in the battle against Fatina.

Against Barry, all Grotle did was sponge Intimidate from Staravia, and kill the non-issue Buizel.

133.png

Useless, the Hardy, Male Lv 20 Eevee
Tackle
Helping Hand
Sand Attack
Growl

- Must evolve into Flareon ASAP
- Cannot fight against any Gym Leaders, Rival Battles, or against Team Galatic.

Summary:
Yeah, looking at Flareon's movepool, it is gonna be useless. I'm not leveling Eevee because Flareon actually hits harder with Tackle than Eevee does, even with Adaptabilty.

Recent Events:
Chilling

427.png

Gastro, the Relaxed, Male, lv 28 Shellos
Rain Dance
Mud Bomb
Hidden Power [Poision]
Water Pulse

Summary:
It's use is starting to wane, but Gastro is still my go to for fire and rock types... at least until Magifail learns a Water-type attack.

Recent Events:
Sat out against Fatina. Almost OHKO's Barry's Monferno, and confused it with Water Pulse. Then, he switched out for Roselia. Wow, didn't know the Bidoof could switch.

421.png

Royal, the Careful, Female, Lv 29 Vespiquen
Heal Order
Gust
Bug Bite
Power Gem

Summary:
Royal now has competition for it's bulky role, but it's got recovery. Vespiquen still hits quite hard for this phase of the game too. It'll be key against Maylene, with it's x4 Resist to fighting.

Recent Events:
Royal finished off Mismagius, while only taking out 23 damage from Psybeam. Then, it put Haunter into a 2HKO position, while getting critted by Shadow Claw. Then, it got Hypnoysised. Then, critted once more. Then a critless Shadow Claw. Then ANOTHER crit. Royal basically got haxed to death.

Against Barry, Royal defeated Roselia [Getting Stun Spored in the process, like anytime it fights a rose...], and finished off Monferno... who used LEER. Stupid Bidoof AI.

130.png

Magifail, I mean, Gyarawin, the Jolly, Female, Lv 32 Gyarados
-Tackle
-Splash
-Flail
-Ice Fang

Summary:
Overleveled to 32 so it could actually hurt Fatina, Gyara is the powerhouse of my team. Basically nothing at this point in the game can touch it. It's like a 'I Win' button right now, and it's only gonna get worse when it gets Waterfall and DD.

Recent Events:
Gyara came to the rescue against Hunter... in what could only be described as the Haxiest battle this side of the Battle Fronteir. Bear in mind Haunter Haxing Royal to death just before this as well...

Magifail used Ice Fang!
It Missed!
Haunter Used Shadow Claw!
Critical Hit!

Magifail used Ice Fang!
It Missed!
Haunter used Confuse Ray!

Magifail hurt itself!
Haunter used Shadow Claw!

Magifail hurt itself!
Haunter used Shadow Claw!
Critical Hit!

Magifail Snapped out of Confusion!
Magifail used Ice Fang!
Critical Hit!

Fatina's Haunter... now called Haxter...

Aims:
Well, I'll rush to Solaceon Ruins, and pick up the Fire Stone for Useless, and then grind said useless to the same level as the rest of my party. Gyarawin is going to be on the back bunrer until the other catch up, unless, of course, I need him. Shellos is probobly gonna take a backseat now, and become a HM Slave.

Mayelne should be a walk in the park. Then, I'll run back to Hearthrome, pick up Pichu, and grind him up for Wake's Gyarados. Grotle [Probobly Torterra by then] will be able to finish Quagsire, and Floatzel should be no match for my Gyarados.

1) All pokemon must evolve into final form by first run of the Elite Four.
2) No pokemon can evolve by happiness or unhappiness, unless given an alternate method of evolution before the elite four.
3) No pokemon can share the exact same type.
4) No Trading
5)Must have a starter
Doing on pearl

@Puffinrock, take a Mawile. It must know one attacking move by level up, one non attacking move by level up, one tm move and one move tutor move.

@Blackcharizard, take a Croagunk. It can't evolve until it has both STAB moves covered by a special attacking move. It must keep those moves forever.

@Puffinrock, take a Treecko. It may never evolve into Sceptile. It must know Fury Cutter via tutor.

@Blackcharizard, take Chimchar as your starter and name him/her Butch. It may only have two attacking moves at a time, and only one can be STAB. It must 5 trainers on the sea route north of Sunnyshore before evolving.

@Puffinrock: Take a Zangoose. It must learnh False Swipe as soon as possible and use it to lower two of Wallace's Pokemon to one HP. It may learn no STAB attack of over 60 base power.

@Blackcharizard: Take a Burmy. It must be male, and evolve into Mothim at right away. It must always know Protect.

@Blackcharizard: Take a Bidoof. It must always have at least 1 Water-type attack, and can only evolve by soloing Gardenia's Roselia.

By the way,Chateau, I really want Mudkip, so could you modify that challenge to Mudkip. Just for my reasoning, I'm fine with the challenge (my first game had a Lv.66 or so Mudkip at the end of it), but not Treecko. If not, I will.

@Newango, take a Gible. It may only evolve into Gabite by learning Fire Blast and using it at least once on Maylene's Lucario. It may only evolve into Garchomp by learning Dragon Pulse or Draco Meteor. It must keep both of those moves forever. It also may not have any physical attacks.

Just as an example, its moveset could be Fire Blast, Surf, Dragon Pulse and Stealth Rock/Toxic/Roar or some other filler move.

@puffinrock

take a sabeleye named "IcU". it may not be used against Brawly, and may not be used in any double battle in the entire game. this only applies once you get three pokemon in your party, including IcU, but not including HM slaves. if it is used in a double battle, you have to reset to your last saved point (so in case you screw up, you should SAVE OFTEN).

@black charizard

take a female hippopotas named "BigBertha". it may only evolve if it kills itself through Recoil one time.

@Newango

I give you "powderman" the tangela. tangela may only evolve if it knows poisonpowder, sleeppowder, stun spore, and ancient power. also, it may only evolve if it is level 35. you do not need to keep any of these moves after evolving

Newango take a Phanphy. It may only use moves purchased from the veilstone game corner and you may only buy the coins necessary to get these moves using money you got from items you've sold that were obtained from phanphy's pick up (keep a tally of the items you pick up and the money you sell them for). No slots either. Note that when it evolves it loses pick up, so chose when you evolve wisely!

EDIT: forgot phanphy was swarm only, in that case take a pachirisu instead! Of course it's ability must be pick up. His name is Secondrate

@doomvendingmachine and Zacchaeus

none of the pokemon you suggested are obtainable before the E4 without trading... and most people consider beating the E4 "completing the challenge" (unless you're doing it in HG/SS of course). i doubt newango would like to go through the game with only 4 pokes until after he beats the E4 :/

Could you guys give me a challenge for LG or Sapphire? I can't trade, so keep that in mind when creating your challenges. Don't make them impossible, but I just finished a Rattata (Lv 91) and Bulbasaur (Lv 88) solo run on FR and LG respectively, so I can take a challenge.

EDIT: Okay, since I can't find my Sapphire, I guess I'm doing Leaf Green.
EDIT 2: Found Sapphire!

So far (LG):
1) Nidoran Female: Must Evolve into Nidorina at 16 and into Nidoqueen at 16.

So for (Sapphire)
1) Mudkip: no Evolutions, no Stab except HMs
2) Ralts: Named Hammond (no Restrictions)

EddieD, for Sapphire take a Mudkip. No evolution, and no STAB moves (Except for HM moves).

For Leafgreen, take a Nidoran Female. You must evolve it to Nidorina at level 16, and Nidoqueen at level 16 (it cannot gain any levels as a Nidorina).

Puffinrock, take a Slakoth. You may not evolve it to Vigoroth until level 35, and you must evolve it to Vigoroth at level 35, and Slaking at level 36.

BlackCharizard, take a Pachirisu. It can only learn one Electric attack, and its remaining three attacks must be Normal type. If you don't want a Pachirisu, you must breed a Pichu/Pikachu to have Volt Tackle, and it must keep Volt Tackle as it's only Electric attack. Pichu can evolve, but Pikachu cannot.

Yeah I realized that after I posted so I changed it to the craptastic pachirisu. I kinda feel bad, as pachirisu is god awful. But the only other pickuppers are not in platinum, swarmers, dongle method or honney trees.

Damn how do you find out all of this information?

Okay, new post. Newango, catch any Pokémon from a Honey Tree. If the Pokémon is Aipom, Heracross, or Munchlax, it cannot learn any STAB attacks. If it is Wurmple, Cascoon, Burmy, Combee, or Cherubi, it must have moves of at least 3 different types.

Quoted simply because it ended up at the very bottom of the last page. Note that although I said "his name", pachirisu can be any gender.
