Challenge The Scramble Challange

Not open for further replies.
I edited my challange to restrict Ice Beam. Also a restriction if you bypass part of the challenge by not evolveing it.

OK, apparently chocolate-kipp didn't see my post, so I'll give her until about 5-5:30 AM GMT -6 to come up with a challenge that works. If it doesn't happen, the spot is open for real. Sorry about that, guys.

Ah, whoops, sorry about that.

You get Twiggy the Spinda. Twiggy doesn't listen to everyone else when they say she isn't beautiful. Twiggy is an aspiring model. As such, she cannot gain weight, so you may never use Potions, Elixirs or Berries on her. She must show her beauty by winning at least one Beauty or Cute contest in Lilycove. She must also know Teeter Dance by the E4.

Take a female Spinda named Twiggy.
Never use Potions, Elixirs or Berries on her.
Win at least one Beauty/Cute contest in Lilycove.
Must know Teeter Dance by the E4.

Psst... I've come to a conundrum as I've reached Pewter City with my team of Charmander, Spearow, and Kakuna. I realized that I have no way of beating Pewter City gym (as Nidoran only appear this early in Yellow), and that in Blue Version, the bug catcher at the end of the forest has a WEEDLE, not a caterpie, which made it significantly harder to solo, so I had to level my now-kakuna past when it learns harden. Jynx is also only available via trade as well, so I need a replacement that I can possibly find before Pewter City, thanks.

Look harder, Server Crash, Nidoran-M have a 5% chance of appearing in Route 22 (West of Viridian City, where you fight your Rival) in Blue...

EDIT: Also turns out Nidoran-M learns Double Kick at Lv43 in Blue...

Serebii's Pokearth didn't say anything about the trainer being version-exclusive, sorry. Change the damage requirement to 4 Hit Points, which would be 1 Hit Point after using Harden 6 times. For Brock, I think Charmander could beat him with Ember fairly easily. His Pokemon don't know any Rock moves in Gen I.

EDIT: Dexington, can I use non-attacking Normal moves?

This challenge looks like a lot of fun, and given the choice between this and Nuzlocke my brother chose this. He wants a mediumish challenge on Pearl.

-I reserve the right to say it's too tough for him(he has no say in the matter however)
-Nicknames are fine, but no cussing ect.
-evolution requirements are great.
- no chatot

thanks

Lightsabre, Your brother gets a Chimchar named Chimp.

His Chimchar is a very cheeky one & loves to annoy the other Pokemon, & as such must know this moveset before Palkia:
-Prank: Taunt/Torment
-Scheme: Nasty Plot/Swords Dance
-Firepower: Flamethrower/Flare Blitz
-Ka-Pow!: Close Combat/Mach Punch
He can evolve into Monferno anytime, but must solo (Kill without Dying/Switching out) 3 G.L.M.P. (Gym Leader Main Pokemon (The Gym Leader's Strongest Pokemon (Roark's Cranidos, Gardenia's Roserade, Maylene's Lucario, Crasher Wake's Floatzel, Fantina's Mismagius, Byron's Bastiodon, Candice's Abomasnow & Volkner's Luxray))) to evolve into Infernape.

Have fun. (If he wants Nasty Plot, tell him to keep his Chimchar a Chimchar until Lv23, if he does this, he cannot get Mach Punch without a move relearner...)

@Lightsabre: I will give him a Mothim. It must participate in every gym leader battle, at least attacking once. It must also be taught Defog. Name it Mothra

Just beat Brock. Had to sacrifice Spearow to leer him to death. All of his pokes are part-rock btw, so ember doesn't do a lot although onix used it's non-attack enough that i did a lot with it.

Team as of Post-Brock:

Blue Scramble:
Level 10 Charmander
Take a Charmander as your starter. To add to your nostalgia, it must learn both Seismic Toss and Rest and use both against Blaine. It must land the final KO on Blaine using Seismic Toss while at less than 1/4 health. Name it...Damian. (muhahaha)

Level 10 Spearow
Catch a Spearow named Skippy. Must be used in every Gym Leader, Rocket Boss, Elite Four and Champion battle. Evolve by soloing any Gym Leader, Elite Four member, Rocket Boss/Admin or Champion.

-----
you get the very wintery Jynx. It must know one Ice move at all times, and OHKO one of Giovanni's Pokemon with it.

-----
you get a jigglypuff named PillowPuff, it must learn rest before it can evolve once it becomes a wigglytuff it must use rest whenever its hp drops to below 1/4

Level 14 NidoranM
You get King Odin the Nidoking. It must know all TM/HM Moves from Celadon onwards, must be the highest leveled Pokemon at all times, & must solo a combined total of 20 Gym Leader/E4 Pokemon starting from the moment you get Nidoking.

Level 10 Beedrill
take a Weedle named Zergon. To evolve into Kakuna, it must solo the trainer with a level 9 Caterpie at the end of Viridian Forest. To evolve into Beedrill, it must battle a trainer's Pokemon and take exactly 1 damage from an attack. After defeating Erika, Zergon must know moves of 4 different types.

Just realized that I won't get a Scramble Pokemon until Ekans after Mt. Moon, so would anyone like to give me a starter Pokemon with some restrictions, to be dumped once I catch Ekans?

EDIT: Thanks Lolcat

@lightsabre, your brother needs a normal type so he gets the best normal type in pearl, STARLY!...what do you mean starly isn't that good....well this 1 is the best ever.......ok it's actually a pretty normal starly, but starly can be good....honest. Now for the challange. Your brother gets a starly named "CMIYC" that is short for Catch Me If You Can. This starly has different requirements depending on what its hp is when you catch it.
-If it has full hp it has no moveset restrictions whatsoever but it must solo 1 gym leader of his choice to evolve into staravia, no requirements to evolve to starapter.
-If it has only lost 1 hp it may not use moves >100 bp and must solo 1 gym leader minus their strongest pokemon to evolve.
-If it has lost 2/3 hp it may not use moves >80 bp (he may teach it fly to travel but can't use it in battle) and solo 1 gym leader pokemon to evolve.
-If it has lost >3 hp but still has >3 hp remaining it may not use moves >60 bp and must solo 1 gym minus the leader to evolve.
-If it has 2/3 hp remaining it may not use moves >50 bp and must solo 1 gym trainer to evolve.
-If it has 1 hp remaining it may not use moves >40 bp and has no evolution requirements.
Now to prevent your brother from just chucking balls at a full health starly until he catches it he may only use 3 pokeballs, if they all fail he gets the 1hp remaining starly.
Good luck.

P.S a tip for doing low damage is to let starly use growl to lower your attack.

Heart Gold Hard Scramble COMING SOON!!!

Meh...I'm going to do what I do best & ask for a challenge for Heart Gold, even though I'm nowhere near finished my current Scramble. This one will be high difficulty, high in creativity, & will start shortly after completing my current Heart Gold Scramble.

The Rules in the hide tag (Required Reading if you want to issue me a challenge)
  • Heart Gold Version.
  • I can Trade as I have 2 DS's, but I will only trade for evolution purposes.
  • Pokewalker is allowed.
  • Entire Party before Pewter City.
  • 6 Challengers.
  • Like Atheno, Texas & auramaster, Grinding is acceptable as I'm rather patient, but drudgery is strictly prohibited. There is a fine line between drudgery & not drudgery. For example, I get issued an unevolvable Totodile where it has to learn Superpower before a certain location. Before Violet City is Drudgery, Before Ecruteak City is Drudgery, before the Rocket Invasion of Goldenrod is very iffy, but before Ho-Oh is Grinding. I will be the judge on that.
  • No Cheri Berry Zubats (or any Berry Holding Pokemon in General) or any other challenge that is someone elses signature (Like Treadshot A1's Mono Type Pokemon). You wouldn't like it if you had a signature & I started issuing it to other people, wouldn't you?
  • A Starter Pokemon, a Surfer & Gligar is compulsory, Starter & Surfer for obvious reasons, & Gligar, because it's my favourite Pokemon & I've never scrambled with it before.
  • Reservations are banned. If you type a long challenge & get ninja'd, too bad. It's also unfair on others who want to issue a challenge.
  • Very high difficulty, but it must be possible. I will be the judge on that.
  • I reserve the right to reject challenges.
  • Also, High Creativity please.
  • To ensure you read these rules, you must include the words, Meh, Rules & Read in your challenge post to have it accepted.
  • Break the rules, you will be given one more chance to get it right. Get it wrong & no challenge from you.
  • BANLIST: Pokemon exclusive to Soul Silver, Legendaries, Pokemon obtainable after Pewter City excluding Sneasel, Sentret, Phanpy, Gastly, Hoppip, Wooper, Staryu & their evolutions.
  • Make them fun.
I think that covers everything, quite strict, I know, but meh.

Without further ado, fire away!

The Pokemon

Its_A_Random, you get a Bellsprout named 'Zero'. Whenever this Bellsprout faints, you must drop everything you're doing after that battle and walk to the Name Rater's house in Goldenrod City (no biking or flying) and rename it the next number up. That is, the first time it faints it becomes 'One', then 'Two', etc. Obviously, the restriction doesn't apply until you get access to Goldenrod (let's say, as soon as you leave Ilex Forest for the first time). No evolution or leveling requirements (although the renaming requirement stays until you beat the Elite Four regardless), but if you choose to teach it Razor Leaf, that must forever be its highest-BP move.

It's_A_Random...take a starter, can be your choice I won't restrict that. It has to be nicknamed MyFav. Now here's the rules...this Pokemon, of your choice is only allowed to learn 3 moves throughout the entire game! They can be TM/HM or level up moves, once it learns a new move it is stuck with that move for the rest of the game. Choose wisely and have fun!

Edit: I won't count the first 2 it learns since I can't remember if you have the option of rejecting them or not. Once you have a full moveset it is only allowed to learn 3 additional moves.

Edit 2: I swear I read the rules last night...but it was 2am and I kinda forgot to put Meh, Rules & Read in there, but they're in now!

@Its a Random, this isn't the most creative challenge, but you'll have to be very creative to beat it :P

Take a Rattata named Zen. This little Rattata wants to fight and win. It constantly seeks to prove itself, not only as a strong fighter, but as a versatile fighter. Thus, it will put itself in the most difficult situations to prove, both to you and to itself, that it can handle anything. Zen must solo at least 1 Pokemon in EVERY gym, with restrictions.

Falkner: No STAB
Bugsy: No STAB
Whitney: No level up moves
Morty: No Dark type moves
Chuck: No STAB
Jasmine: No Dig
Pryce: No STAB or moves that Zen has used in battle before the match with Pryce
Clair: No moves with more then 60 base power

It also refuses to evolve into Raticate until after soloing one of Morty's Pokemon. After doing so well, Zen will finally have the confidence to stop giving itself such ridiculous challenges. However, its fighting spirit is still burning strong, and it must continue to solo at least 1 Pokemon from each E4 member, the Champion, each gym leader in Kanto, and ultimately Red.

Have fun!

EDIT: Meh :( I read the rules, but got so focused on making the restrictions that I forgot about it. Sorry

@dark ray may i use uturn/xscissor on curseutran, bug bite is too hard to get

The team is complete, here it is-
-chiko the chikorita Lv 23
-owlraptor the noctowl Lv 22
-spector the haunter Lv 26
-curseutran the scyther Lv 21
-payback the tauros Lv 20
-billy the voltorb Lv 20

And a few things, ANGER POINT ROCKS!!! Im about to challenge morty after i grind a little.

DBj signing out(i really have to stop this signing out stuff)

@ its a random. You want a gligar you get one. He's callesd "Michael S." However your gligar was once a famous racer who had a grave accident as such he cannot use any flying moves and is forced to stay on the ground. He also lost the ability to speed up or priority moves. Ow yeah and racers don't dance :P

a recap
-Must be called "Michael S."
-Cannot use flying type moves
-Cannot use agility or priority moves
-No swords dance
