@Gyarados Master you get a bachuru name it señorZap. Señorzap is sad he was not on the Smog's list of manly pokemon because he uses "girly" energy beams as such he may only use physical moves two of them must be sucker punch and frustration he must also use string shot untill the fourth gym. He cannot evolve untill he solos the 8th gym once he evolves be is comfortable is his sexuality enough to learn Rain dance but cannot learn thunder untill the third member of the E4.

@Gyarados Master, take a Nageki named Wacha!!!, it can only learn Fighting moves, and must solo every Fighting Pokemon that is 5 levels lower then it, or higher.

@czechm8, take a Corsola named Coral. It cannot know two moves of the same type.

Just posting to say nominations for a couple of the categories for the Pg. 250 Scramble Awards are up in the Social Group, which is advertised in my signature. Got a category for the Awards that you want to see? Post it in the group. Happy nominating!

I don't remember who i gave the option between meditite and scyther/heracross (texas maybe?) but i suppose the bugs would be a better fit for the team. you can choose the one you want though, it doesn't matter to me.

It seems a little too soon for Scramble Awards right now, even though it's almost page 250, it's only been a few weeks. Maybe wait until page 300?

@czech name your anorith "/B/ro" EDIT: You want a reason for him being a bro? HE'S A MOTHERF***ING SEA SCORPION!!!! How is he not a bro?
@aura it's not that soon, and if we wait until 300 I have a feeling alot of challanges will be forgotten.

Geez people, I woke up about 30min ago, check smogon, and BAM! Three pages filled since last night. I guess that's what happens when your not on smogon for 12 hours...

Anyways, @Texas, I know your pain. I cant even go on PO at my Dads, in case he finds me and gives me a lecture on how "I dont even play it on my DS" and that "I should get a new hobby." Plus I was up against a Canadian in a tourney here once, and the time difference meant we never got to battle. Eventually I got through to the next round via coin flip, only for me to loss 5-0 to a Baton Pass team...

Anyway, since we're probably not going to battle, instead you must go onto an online Random Number Generater and generate a number between 1-200. This represents a number of the Platimun Pokedex (not including starters, their evolutions and Giratina). The number you pick will be the # of places after Empolion in the Pokedex; this is your poke. Now follow the challenge prompts.

Good luck, Have fun!

Going to vote for the Awards now...

Damn, you're right, why would gf give rain dance to everything except a sea scorpion that gets swift swim in dw? Anyways replace rain dance with sandstorm.

Will do and I don't get it either if an sea scorpion can't use rain dance how can a giant bell or an insane giant pokeball on crack use rain dance.

Thanks Igg and Ben for clarification on my challenges.

Also posting to say I support hosting the Scramble Awards now given the activity of the thread.

It a) allows for a leaner selection of voting options (looking specifically at the hardest Scramble mon category)

b) allows for the challenges posted in the last 40 pages to jave their dues. I noticed in both of the previous Scramble awards that the nominees tended to be stuffed with challenges from pages 260-299 (specific incidence being my Solrock challenge that had to solo T+L with another mon and set up Solarbeam for the other one to use Sunny Day, er, vice-versa) when there are many, many deserving entries from the early pages.

Finally c) it allows for people to actually look for challenges. In the case of many of the categories there ended up being only a few nomineesbecause nobody could be bothere/couldn`t remmember to look for any of the challenges. In the Solrock category stated above there was literally only one other nominee in that category.

So yeah thats just my two cents on why the Scramble Awards should be hosted every 50 pages which usually amounts to to somewhere between 6-10 weeks, which is reasonable for a time to look back on the grandeur that is the Scramble Challenge.

@kid kadabra, you can, you get an electrike named "Kimidori". This electrike would rather play than fight so you may only give it 1 attacking move. However, once it evolves you must rename it "Asakura" and it decides that playing is for children and would much rather fight so you must give it atleast 3 attacks and it must solo 5 gym leader pokemon, atleast 1 must be a GLMP, and 5 E4 pokemon, atleast 1 must not be a water type.
Good luck.

@kid kadabra do you have any limitations for this challenge? No trading etc?
Anyway i'll edit this if you add limitations
You get a Shroomish named brainfood (idk come up with a better nick?) this shroomish isnt like the other Shroomishes and is super smart, however because of this Shroomish is fairly timid and must stay in the last 3 slots of your party at all times. On top of this your shroomish dislikes fighting and must not evolve into a breloom. During its time as a shroomish, it must know 3 smart contest moves. For your shroomish to want to evolve into a breloom, it must win master rank smart contest and also normal rank tough contest. Only after this can shroomish evolve into breloom. From here breloom can be carried in any party slot and to prove itself as a fighter must take part in the double battle and score the killing blow against tate and lizas solrock (dont need lunatone).
Good luck!!

I can't trade; I'll be playing on an emulator.

EDIT: My Team so far:

1. 3. take a Kecleon named Camo. It can only use a move that is super effective against itself.

4. Get a Timid Whismar, NN Snookums
As a Whismar: Can’t use STAB, can’t use or be hit by sound based moves (if you do get hit, you must ether switch out or use a healing item), cant enter trainer battles.
As a Loudrod: Can’t use or be hit by sound based moves, can’t use STAB.
As an Exploud: Can only use STAB moves, Cant use or be hit by sound based moves.

5. You get my signature Lax the Makuhita. He must have the ability Thick Fat. Lax thinks he's too fat so he is trying to lose weight. To do so, he cannot eat any berries and must always be the first pokemon in your party when you are bicycling. Also, he must solo 15 trainers and 2 gym leaders.

6.

@Kid Kadabra: You get my signature Whismar Challenge:

Me in the Scramble Group said:
Snookums the Whismur (R/S/E): As a Whismar, it is afraid of everything, especially entering battle with other people. Due to this he/she is unsure of his special skills and is too scared to find out about them! In fact, it's especially afraid of loud sounds; it hurts his/her poor little ears:pirate:. However, one day Snookums evolves, and decides it’s not afraid to enter battle now! As he/she trains to get stronger, Loudrod builds confidence in himself, and when he evolves again, he is able to use his special skills. In fact, it loves them SO much, Exploud won't use anything but them! Sadly though, Snookums' fear of sound turns out to be a life long phobia, as such he/she will forever remain to be scared of them...

Recap:
  • Get a Timid Whismar, NN Snookums
  • As a Whismar: Can’t use STAB, can’t use or be hit by sound based moves (if you do get hit, you must ether switch out or use a healing item), cant enter trainer battles.
  • As a Loudrod: Can’t use or be hit by sound based moves, can’t use STAB.
  • As an Exploud: Can only use STAB moves, Cant use or be hit by sound based moves.
