Challenge The Scramble Challange

@SimonSays' friend
Bring a Torkoal named NotNummul. It may only use/know moves that are also learnable by Numel/Camerupt.

Mini-update of my White Scramblocke.
Not going as well as I would like. Of the 4 Members I caught
Loudkirbyking's Oshawott; Dark Ray's Sewaddle; Ironman's Cottonee; and Skwog's Scraggy
I have already lost my
Phasmid the Sewaddle to a Timburr's Bide after an unfortunate Razor Leaf miss (I didn't know Razor Leaf COULD miss) and Thug Life the Scraggy to a very unfortunate Crit bug move thing in castelia
. So I can still make it but it's not going nearly as well as I would like. Fortunately, I should have 2 pokemon that aren't countered by the next gym leader instead of none.

Actually, i've been deliberately off smogon and serebii and other pokemon sites because i wanted to play through my copy of black with minimal knowledge about the locations and gym leaders and stuff like that. I've just beaten it thanks to having the wisdom to catch a Timburr and Roggenrola early on, so i can return to Smogon now, without having to worry as much about spoilers.

In other words, you're all screwed. ;)

Winning.

Just got my Dwebble and my Gothita for white Scramblocke. Dwebble is a boss, and I am apprehensive and excited about the goth chick.

Welcome back Treadshot, hope you enjoyed your break...To celebrate, I've added a new FAQ to the OP, saying to people that they cannot give out MEP, because it's Treadshot's "intellectual property". And my Flapper the CBZ as well, because it's my intellectual property. =P

Speaking of which, I wonder who will be the next unlucky person to get the squirrel...

Oh, she does that to you too, huh? ... DON'T TELL ME I WAS THE ONLY ONE THINKING IT.

Treadshot's back? ... Meep. This does not bode well for my upcoming Colosseum Scramble...

Shadoo, that colosseum scramble, if you ever take it, you have to take the Umbreon you start with, and check it's nature. If it raises and lowers stats, then you keep the Umbreon. If it is one of the 5 neutral natures, drop it for Espeon.

Then, with whichever pokemon you get, you must KO 7 shadow pokemon (I.e it must deliver the final blow). Thus, be careful which ones you kill because you need to catch the others. :)

Name it "Whysoeasy?". And if you think such things about goth pokemon, then you should really reconsider just what you do on St. Patricks day. ITS NOT A REAL GIRL!!!

Also, random, all MTPs are mine. As long they are non-evolving pokemon that can only use one attack type, then that is my intellectual property.

Ironically, I'm in school all day St. Patrick's Day... Probably one of about five schools in Northern Ireland that is. Tee-hee. But I was kidding.

You may need to remind me of that challenge though, I'm in the middle of an XD Scramble/Black Post-Game.

Fifth update for my Firered Scramble.

Sprout the Oddish: Must always know 2 TM moves and 2 Lv.Up moves.
Can't evolve to Vileplume till I have 5 badges.
MS. NIDO the Nidoqueen: Can only learn STAB and non-damaging moves. (Woot, Poison Ground Combo!!)
Variable Eevee: Evolution determined to be Flareon.
Must know Flamethrower, Substitute, Toxic, Tail Whip.
To get TMs from Game Corner. Must find coins on ground or be given them or win them from slots. If I run out, allowed to buy 50 Coins and start again.
Must Solo 2 of Sabrina's Pokemon consecutively with no items. I'm then allowed to replace Tail Whip with whatever.
Gold the Zubat: Must max out happiness to evolve to Golbat. As Zubat, cannot use Poison, Dark, or Ghost moves. (there goes the early movepool)
When it evolves, must learn Frustration, and 2 Poison, Dark or Ghost moves.
Solo Koga's Gym and one of Lance's Dragonites.
Seadra the Seadra: Need Good Rod. Cannot learn: Hydro Pump, Surf, Blizzard, Smokescreen, or Mimic.
Must Solo Rival's Grass-type (Bulbasaur line) every time met.
Cannot fight Blaine.
No items in Battle.
Hammer Bro the Squirtle: Must learn Brick Break, Rapid Spin, Ice Beam, and Surf.
Must Solo Blaine.
After Blaine, replace Rapid Spin with Rest, and cannot attack until damage is taken.

Entered Celadon Gym and prepared for battle.
Flareon and Gold swept through the entire gym, even destroying Erika with little difficulty.
After the Gym Battle, I healed and went back to Lavender Town through Saffron City.
MS. NIDO becomes the first one to reach 100 HP!!
Calvin is such a breeze...
POSSESED PEOPLE IN THE TOWER!!
I'm now tired of freakin' Gastly...
Got past the Snorlax south of Lavender, and continued to Fuchsia City
I caught Seadra the Horsea with a Super Rod. Very apparent that he will be the LVP out of all of this... Just from the start because he's 10 levels behind all of the others...And has crap for moves...
After training Gold to Lv. 41, and clearing out the Gym Trainers, I went to challenge Koga.

Gym battle went like this:

First Koffing 2HKOed by Bite.
Next was Muk, 2HKOed by Air Cutter+Confusion Damage.
2nd Koffing , Took 4 Bites to take down, because he used a Hyper Potion.
His Weezing, got confused, He snapped it out with a Full Heal, took 3 Bites+Confusion Damage, he healed with a Hyper Potion, took another 4 Bites+Confusion Damage, and finally won.

Spr_3f_042.png

Gold the Golbat
Lv. 42
Nature: Naive
Moves: Frustration
Air Cutter
Confuse Ray
Bite.

Since my training for him, he's shot up in levels and is now the highest leveled member. His solo of Koga was somewhat impressive, but it didn't seem that difficult.
Anyways, based on Level alone, he's my MVP.

Spr_3f_044.png

Sprout the Gloom
Lv. 33
Nature: Hasty
Moves: Secret Power
Bullet Seed
Sleep Powder
Acid.

Didn't see much use recently, but with the ability to evolve into Vileplume as soon as I find a Leaf Stone, he'll become much more powerful.

Spr_3f_116.png

Seadra the Horsea
Lv. 24
Nature: Lonely
Moves: Bubble
Smokescreen (Disabled)
Leer
Water Gun

Hasn't seen much use at all, since being an underleveled member. Current LVP

Spr_3f_008.png

Hammer Bro the Wartortle
Lv. 33
Nature: Calm
Moves: Brick Break
Water Pulse
Rapid Spin
Bite

The late MVP is still worthwhile, but being underleveled compared to my highest-level member isn't helping in comparison. Soon, he'll be getting another part of his moveset soon.

Spr_3f_031.png

MS. NIDO the Nidoqueen
Lv. 33
Nature: Bold
Moves: Poison Sting
Dig
Attract
Tail Whip

MS. NIDO, however limited is still good.

Spr_3f_136.png

Flareon
Lv. 33
Nature: Quirky
Moves: Toxic
Sand-Attack
Flamethrower
Quick Attack

Flareon now got another piece of his movepool, and enjoys roasting opponents with his Flamethrower.

Also, random, all MTPs are mine. As long they are non-evolving pokemon that can only use one attack type, then that is my intellectual property.
Okay, If you want to be that specific, then I'll add to the OP how specific you want to be (Yes, I now have OP of this thread, & not Mattman).

In other news, I've updated my Heart Gold Scramble. I now have 12 Badges, Atheno the Lapras is 6 solos away from his requirement, Troll continues to be a pain, Yawn, Dexington & 4xTheFun don't do much, & Valence continues to shine. This Scramble concludes when I beat the E4 for the second time, check out the link & I hope you enjoy the update (And the others) (That is, if anyone can be bothered to look...)!

Cheers!
Its_A_Random

E4 Update:

So, yeah. I totally forgot to update this guy at all. Whoops. XD. I'll make sure my next Scramble gets updated at least a little more frequently. But anyways...

The Restrictions
Pokemon Black Scramble Challenge!

-Can trade, and have access to White.
-Please don't give me Tepig. I hate Tepig. Bleh.
-No NFEs, if possible. Evolution restrictions are expected (even if they're pretty tough), but at least give me some way to evolve my guys.
-Difficulty? Medium/Hard. Don't go easy on me just 'cause this is my first. ;D.

Otherwise, go for it. I'll edit in my team in once it's decided on.

The Team
How about.....
-Axew, evolve, after tutoring Draco Meteor to it

@LightWind, you get Sawk, lucky you! It can only know Fighting type moves (which looking at its level up move, isn't so much of a challenge). The only exceptions to this rule is that it must learn and keep grass knot. It may not be used in trainer battles until its moveset is grass knot/fighting move/fighting move/fighting move. It must solo Burgh. Finally, it must KO at least 4 Elite 4 pokes, and only 1 of them can be Dark Type (This includes Dark E4 Scrafty and Fighting E4 Scrafty) As I'm feeling uncreative with nicknames right now, name it Bert.

I feel like going easy today.

You will be getting a Roggenrola. It must stay as a Boldore until level 38.

If it is male, it must solo two of the Fighting E4's pokemon

If it is female, it must solo three of the Ghost E4's pokemon

Name it Smiteforce, as that is probably the most badass name ever conceived.

Welcome to Smogon. We hope you stay with The Scramble Challange.

EDIT: After looking at the "impossible" challenges on the front page, those last two aren't that bad...

Lightwind, start with Snivy, name it Traveller. This Snivy likes visiting new places & hates going back to old places, so he may only fight & gain EXP when you visit <Place> for the first time. Pokemon Gyms & the Pokemon League are an exception to this rule, however, as Snivy likes going to Gyms a lot. Snivy must solo 3 Gym Leader Pokemon to evolve, & another 6 to evolve again.

Have fun.

@Lightwind, take a Bouffalant called Reckless.
Must have the reckless ability and the only damaging moves it can use are recoil moves. Cannot be +Attack nature (just to be annoying).

lightwind since you need 1 more pokemon, i will give you Scout the mienfoo...
This mienfoo must have the regenarator ability...
Teach it u-turn and use the regenarator/u-turn combination 20 times in order to evolve(i mean use u-turn switch out and then again switch in in the same battle...)...
Solo 5 main pokemon(main pokemon are Cheren's, Bianca's, N's, Ghetsis', gym leaders', e4's) with 5 different moves each...

Elite Four
Overall, the team was way higher leveled than I intended them to be. Although Smiteforce and Bert kinda needed the extra boost for their solos, everyone else was able to easily contribute to finishing the E4 off. Definitely considering trying to do an Rematch E4 run with an underleveled party to make up for it, but we'll see. But I digress.

526.gif

Smiteforce, the Lv. 57 Adamant Gigalith
Endgame MVP
-Rock Slide
-Bulldoze
-Stone Edge
-Headbutt

Ah, Smiteforce. His fighting solos took a bit of Bulldoze speed reducing to get done, but once that was over with, he stormed the Elite 4 and beyond. Definitely one of my favorites throughout the entire challenge for his insane attack and nearly as good defense.

497.gif

Traveller, the Lv. 52 Mild Serperior
Overall MVP
-Leaf Blade
-Giga Drain
-Strength
-Aerial Ace

Traveller's challenge made me so paranoid when I started that I sat at the end of Routes 1 and 2, battling things 'till I ran out of PP or Potions to heal with. Besides messing with my sanity, he proved to be as reliable as mine was in my first Black playthrough, taking care of almost the entire game up until the 6th gym. He saw a bit less use after I picked up Axew and the second half of my team, but he got a few key kills in the finale that I definitely needed.

539.gif

Bert, the Lv. 57 Impish Sawk
"Mister Reliable"
-Close Combat
-Brick Break
-Bulk Up
-Grass Knot

Man, the things Bert could have done if I had just one free moveslot. Grass Knot actually proved super useful all of ONCE though, allowing me to get that fourth E4 solo against Shauntal's Golurk. Bert was my go-to guy for things I couldn't hit for SE damage and an overall incredible teammate, besides the horrible Burgh solo that I'm trying to forget as best as possible.

610.gif

Meteor, the Lv. 53 Adamant Axew
Lightwind's Most Frustrating Challenge Award
-Dragon Claw
-X-Scissor
-Swords Dance
-Aerial Ace

Close one between him and Traveller, but ultimately, Meteor won out. Why? 'Cause I couldn't get the damn thing to learn Draco Meteor, after doing everything possible to try and max out his happiness. Really, if he coulda evolved, I probably wouldn't have needed to use anyone else (aside from the solos) for the E4, but eh. He did solo the entire 8th gym as an Axew though, which pretty awesome.

620.gif

Scout, the Lv. 52 Naive Mienshao
Most Unexpected
-Jump Kick
-Drain Punch
-Bounce
-U-turn

I really didn't think Scout would get much use, after falling in love with Bert. But this little guy proved me wrong, and I definitely made excuses to use him more than a few times. I almost feel bad about the moves I used for the 5 solos though; Jump Kick, Drain Punch, Brick Break, Low Sweep, and Bounce. ;D.

626.gif

Reckless, the Lv. 50 Lax Bouffalant
Participation Award
-Head Charge
-Wild Charge
-Work Up
-Scary Face

Poor Reckless. Too little, too late, really. With only normal and electric type attacks, he really didn't do much for me in the endgame, which is all I had him for. He was a cool near OHKO machine, but not much else. And seeing as I had to catch ten of these things before I got one that fit the requirements... Not exactly my favorite team member.

Clocked in at 63+ hours, after falling asleep on the game 4 or 5 times. Yikes. This was a great first Scramble, and hopefully, I'll work up the motivation to train up for that second E4 round.

(First Smogon post, whoo!)

@Sy123, I'm assuming you mean it can't evolve at all until then, right? Accepted otherwise.

@kingofkongs, sounds awesome. I get the feeling Bert's gonna see quite a bit of use. ;D.

@Lolcat, phew, that's not too bad. When I saw yar name there, I got a teeensy bit worried. Smiteforce is definitely badass, though. ;D.

@Random, that's an interesting one. Gonna have to pay attention to when I decide to backtrack now.

@Obsidian, sounds good. Kinda wish he wasn't near the end of the game, but eh. I'll live.

One more and I'll get this thing started.

Hi guys,

I've just beaten Black and I'm looking for a challenge on White. Not too difficult please, I want it to stay fun.

Rules:
All pokémon should be allowed to fully evolve
No Snivy (I used it in my Black playthrough)
No limits on item use

Hobbers, get a Timburr. It must be called "Durrp!", and shall never have a Rock-type move. It must have Hammer Arm, and should it miss, even just once, Durrp must take on all the trainers in Celestial Tower by itself, with no Repels to be used nor active within Celestial Tower. You may use the Nurse at any time, or go back to the Pokemon Center at your leisure. Other pokemon are allowed to be sent in as death fodder while you heal Durrp, but they may not attack at all.

It's your choice whether you want to use Hammer Arm or not, but either way its going to take up a moveslot. Should it never have used Hammer Arm by Celestial Tower, it may not be used in, nor after, Celestial Tower at all.

Hobbers get a Vanipede...

This vanipede is the ultimate supporting pokemon and it really likes to support with every single way it can...
it must have a movepool with three non-atacking moves one of which is baton pass...
the other two must be stat modifying...
it must lead your party at all times and use one of the two non-damaging moves and then baton pass to a teamate...
last move can be an attacking moves and can be used only for grinding reasons...
Name it Supporters...

Ironman should make sure to change his challenge as there is a chance Durrp will solo Celestial Tower.

Thus Vanipede can only lead in every battle outside of Celestial Tower in the case Hammer Arm misses.
