Challenge The Scramble Challange

@Jwoozie

bring a female Purrloin and name JWoww.
It must use fake out on every gym leader pokemon (that does not have an alternate solo requirement).*
Against any one E4 pokemon it must set up to AT LEAST +4 attack using Hone Claws and sweep all four of that members pokemon.
It may not evolve before you have 4 badges.

*Except the first gym leader because that would be way too much grinding.

Hobbers, get a Timburr. It must be called "Durrp!", and shall never have a Rock-type move. It must have Hammer Arm, and should it miss, even just once, Durrp must take on all the trainers in Celestial Tower by itself, with no Repels to be used nor active within Celestial Tower. You may use the Nurse at any time, or go back to the Pokemon Center at your leisure. Other pokemon are allowed to be sent in as death fodder while you heal Durrp, but they may not attack at all.

It's your choice whether you want to use Hammer Arm or not, but either way its going to take up a moveslot. Should it never have used Hammer Arm by Celestial Tower, it may not be used in, nor after, Celestial Tower at all.

Hobbers get a Vanipede...
This vanipede is the ultimate supporting pokemon and it really likes to support with every single way it can...
it must have a movepool with three non-atacking moves one of which is baton pass...
the other two must be stat modifying...
it must lead your party at all times and use one of the two non-damaging moves and then baton pass to a teamate...
last move can be an attacking moves and can be used only for grinding reasons...
Name it Supporters...
Ah and make it every major battle (Cheren, Bianca, N, Ghetsis, gym leaders, e4) to avoid stacking with Durrp's challenge...

Get Emo, a very emo Emolga. Due to its sheer emo-ness, it must faint at least once in every single gymleader/rival battle. When against a non-important battle, if it is out it must switch out using Volt Switch, unless you are doing the Nimbasa Gym(where you don't have access to VS).

However, once it gets to LV 38, it will get Encore and his personality does a 180: it is extremely hyperactive and must be kept above the red whenever possible. It must also keep Encore.

Lastly, it has to be found on Route 16. You are allowed to kill any Audino you see though. :)

Okay Hobbers, take a Tepig for your starter. Soft-reset for a -Attack nature, then solo Cress and Lenora (the latter without using Fighting moves) to evolve to Pignite. To become Emboar, it must solo Clay and either Brycen or Iris. As Emboar, it must solo Caitlin of the E4.

DetroitLolcat said:
Take a Lillipup on the first route. It must solo the first Gym's Lillipup, the second Gym's Herdier, and Bianca's Stoutland on Route 8 to show it's the coolest Lillipup/Herdier/Stoutland ever.

It must always be the second-highest leveled pokemon on your team, and solo two Gym Leader's Main Pokemon. Any two, your choice.

Name it Murrando, the Japanese name. I have a Murrando on my pirated version, and I like it. Should be good for your team.

@Hobbers, you get Kingly , the Frillish! Kingly has a vivid imagination and believes that he is next in line to become the king of all Pokemon. To make sure this belief is never shattered (as he would probably never be able to battle again), he may only ever be used against Pokemon of a lower level. Also, to become king (evolve), he must solo every trainer in the 8th gym, to eliminate anyone who might challenge his rise to power.

To review: Kingly, the Frillish. Must be male, only can fight Pokemon of a lower level, solo all gym trainers in 8th gym to evolve. Enjoy~.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll keep it up to date

I just looked it up, there's a 5% chance of a Trubbish having Black Sludge, and half the Trubbishes have Sticky Hold, preventing me from stealing their held item.

That's just mean >.>

I did it on my Nuzlocke run, it wasn't THAT horrible. (And considering some of the other things on this thread, it could be WAY worse)

Hehe, that's true. Well, i'll get it eventually. I probably won't start the challenge for a few days, I got midterms this week (easy classes, but still).

Thank guys. So I have Ghetsis' Cofagrigus, Speed Demon Emolga, TMNT Tirtuoga, All-special Tepig (Mine has a -Sp.Atk nature, oh joy), Lovey dovey-wind hating Woobat, and female Purrloin.

This should be...interesting.

Or hilarious! I can see it now... He's a clone of Ghetsis' Cofagrigus, who wants revenge. He's a racing Emolga who gave up the pro circuit after a terrifying crash! He's a rejected ninja turtle, out to prove himself! He's a Tepig, trying to improve himself by focussing on his weak points! He's a light-as-a-feather, peace-spreading Woobat! She's a Purrloin, eager to get her claws into anyone and everyone! THEY FIGHT CRIME!

Too bad you can't Luvdisc posts...

Take a Shinx, no evolving, Only electric attacks, called "Torino". Cannot exceed level 30, unless you decide to permanently box another of your team members. PERMANENTLY.

@ungulateman, your starter is a Turtwig named Twiggy. After evolving to Grotle, it must know one Physical move, one Special move, and two non-attacking moves. It also must solo 4 gym leader Pokemon that it doesn't have a SE move for.

Didn't post my Hard FireRed update a couple days ago due to my internet not working, so here it is!

This is my final team for my Hard FireRed Scramble. This is the first Scramble I've finished, and it was a LOT of fun, as well as being very difficult at times. So, my final team from least to most powerful...

Spr_3f_085.png

The Guy (Level 50 Dodrio) - Given by Dexington
~Steel Wing
~Pursuit
~Rest
~Fly (For transportation ONLY, not used in battle)

Restrictions: No STAB, including non-damaging moves. Must solo every Birdkeeper.

Greatest moment: Finishing off my Rival's Venusaur in the final battle.

Worst moment: Only managing a 3HKO against Lance's Aerodactyl

Rating: 4/10

The Guy had wonderful stats, but the restrictions left him with about 7 moves, and the only decent attacking move was Steel Wing. Unfortunately, Steel Wing didn't have a high enough base power to make up for a lack of STAB in many cases, and of the two SE types, Ice was almost nonexistent, and every Rock type had great Defense. Fast with decent power, but not enough power to be a good Pokemon.

Spr_3f_117.png

Edras (Level 52 Seadra) - Given by Texas Cloverleaf
~Blizzard
~Dragon Dance
~Mimic
~Attract

Restrictions: Cannot learn Ice Beam, must solo every trainer from Fuschia to Cinnabar with Water moves to evolve, must forget all Water moves upon evolving. Must solo Lance if it doesn't evolve, or Bruno if it does.

Best moment: Soloing Bruno by Mimicing Onix's Earthquake

Worst moment: Being outsped and OHKO'd by Blaine's Growlithe's Fire Blast as a Horsea.

Rating: 3/10

Only more useful then The Guy due to having the only Special attack except Data Worm's Bite and (Late game) Photophobe's Petal Dance. As a Horsea, it was slow and frail, but powerful with STAB Surf. After evolving, it became almost useless, with its only good move being Blizzard, with 70% accuracy and 5 PP.

Spr_3f_051.png

Whacamole (Level 53 Dugtrio) - Given by Its_A_Random
~Dig
~Growl
~Double Team
~Attract

Restrictions: Only attacking move is Dig, must solo Erika.

Greatest moment: Soloing Erika despite not having X Special Defense (Not an item until Gen IV for some reason)

Worst moment: Being almost completely useless for the E4/Champion battles.

Rating: 4/10

It could do one thing, and do it well. Whacamole was both fast and pretty strong, making it fairly useful throughout the game. However, Dig's 10 PP REALLY hurt its usefulness, and it was useless against every Flying type and Levitator in the game. Also never got a decent matchup in the E4/Champion, since it didn't stand a chance against any of Lorelai or Lance's Pokemon, all of Agatha's Pokemon were immune except her Arbok with Intimidate, and my Rival could (And did O_o) switch to Gyarados whenever it tried to Dig.

Spr_3f_024.png

Data Worm (Level 52 Arbok) - Given by Detroitlolcat
~Earthquake
~Rock Slide
~Bite
~Screech

Restrictions: Must solo a gym leader without items to evolve.

Greatest moment: Doing all the damage to my Rival at Cerulean Bridge as a level 18 Ekans.

Worst moment: Failing to solo Lt. Surge without items on the first try as a level mid-30's Ekans.

Rating: 6/10

Data Worm was a reliable, balanced Pokemon throughout the game, never being very weak, or very powerful. Level up movepool is terrible, with only TM's and move tutor's keeping him useful.

Spr_3f_045.png

Photophobe (Level 53 Vileplume) - Given by Arcticblast
~Petal Dance
~Moonlight
~Acid
~Sleep Powder

Restrictions: Must know Moonlight and Acid, must solo Giovanni every battle, cannot be used for an hour after being used in sunlight, whether in-game or real sunlight.

Greatest moment: Almost defeating my Rival's Venusaur in the final battle, despite being 10 levels lower.

Worst moment; Being OHKO'd by his Venusaur's Solarbeam after 6 Growths.

Rating: 8/10

From the beginning, Photophobe was a tank. It had excellent defenses and decent offensive power with STAB Acid. Slowly became less useful until lategame, when it got Petal Dance and became a powerhouse.

Spr_3f_136.png

Loss (Level 53 Flareon) - Given by loudkirbyking
~Shadow Ball
~Frustration
~Growl
~Roar

Restrictions: Must know Frustration, Growl, Roar, and a move that wasn't it's evolved form's STAB. Must finish off every Steel type with Frustration, and must solo a gym leader's Pokemon, depending on which evolved form I wanted (Blaine's Rapidash for Flareon),

Greastest moment: Soloing Lance.

Worst moment: Failing to OHKO Blaine's Arcanine with a +5 STAB Secret Power.

Rating: 8/10

The team MVP, Loss quickly proved to be an extremely powerful Pokemon with STAB Secret Power, and later Shadow Ball off an Adamant Base 130 Attack. Loss proved invaluable in Lavendar Tower, Sabrina's Gym, and anywhere when a strong attack was needed. Loss also defeated nearly half of the E4/Champion's Pokemon, including a sweep of Lance after setting up on his Gyarados.

Also been working on my White Scramble, currently stuck trying to solo Burgh with a Dewott (Leavanny keeps 2HKOing with Razor Leaf), but I just learned I can get the evo-stone :) While struggling with that, I picked my old Emerald Scramble back up, which I started way back on page 168. Successfully soloed Winona with a Spinda :) Will probably update both after their next gyms.

@ungulateman

Take Preston the male Gardevoir.
Since undergoing operations, Preston was one procedure away from finally becoming a woman. However, despite there being free health care in the world of Pokemon, plastic surgery is not free, and Preston ran out of money before they could finish the operations. Now he is stuck, somewhere between being a full fledged female and a strange male who looks like a woman. Seeing other girl Pokemon makes him wish he could be a girl, and he tries to attract the guys, but to no avail.

Overview:
Male Gardevoir name Preston
Must use Wish against girl Pokemon before attacking, and Attract against male Pokemon before attacking
Other two moves are up to you

Also, on a side note, just posting to say that I'm abandoning my SoulSilver Scramble. Not because it's too hard, but because I don't have time to finish it on top of school, extra curriculars, and whatnot. I'll post a final overview at some point.

I'm looking for a Platinum challange.

Keep them sane, please. :)

Take a Pachirisu called NinNin
NinNin is a ninja, and won't stand up to any crap from people saying he/she isn't a ninja, so must never switch out to a Pokemon that is faster than NinNin (if the first turn, you must wait to see who will be faster unless it's going to be obvious who is faster). NinNin must have the ability pick up, because why would a ninja want to run away? NinNin must have one move from 3 of these 4 categories, the fourth move your choice, as long as there are no double ups of a category you have already got a move from.

Speed: Quick Attack/U-Turn/Grass Knot
Stamina: Endure/Iron Tail/Bide
General Awesomeness: Rain Dance/Secret Power/Natural Gift
Quick Thinking: Last Resort/Swift/Double Team

I hope NinNin serves you well. Oh yes, also, NinNin can't be a -speed nature.

ungulateman

you get buizel the Choice...
here you have to make a choice:
either you don't evolve it and it can know any move it wants
or
you evolve it and can know only moves of 60 base power or less...

Ungulateman, take a Starly, name it Starling. It must have all Physical moves...until you evolve it into Staraptor, where you must name it Loser, & it may no longer use STAB moves or Close Combat in battle. Luckily, the all Physical restriction is lifted when it becomes one.

Have fun. (If anyone asks, I think Staraptor is the worst Pokemon in the world imo)

Hey! I want to do a scramble challenge and I'd like it to be as difficult as possible.
I know that I want to use an Elgyem and that is really all I'm sure on, the challenge will be taking place on Pokemon Black. So please, take into account that I want this to be difficult :'D

Bring a Pansage. No matter what your starter is you must catch it from the Shaky grass in Pinwheel Forest. It may never learn Seed bomb and it must solo Clay to evolve.

Name it Eladmri

Pick Snivy as your starter (You asked difficult.. I give you two Grass types =P). He will be called: ImASnake
It can never learn any moves that replenish it's health. In order to evolve to Serpex, it must solo one of Lenora's pokes. In order to become Servine, it must solo 2 of Brycen's pokes. Have fun

Okay :'D I picked Snivy and I am progressing to the 1st gym, any other Pokemon that aren't to splendid? I'm open to anything.

Take a Sawk called Ninjito
Sawk was raise to learn karate but to be honest, he hates it, and prefers ninjitsu, therefore, he must never have more than one fighting type move (except when you catch him). Ninjito can't be a -speed nature because he needs to be as fast as possible to compete with other ninjas. He must have inner focus as an ability, because why would he need Sturdy if he's too fast to be hit? Ninjito must be the first Sawk you find that doesn't have a -speed nature, and must learn his Hidden Power (the move) and grass knot, to show his ability at tying double knots with ease and without anyone seeing him.

Not too difficult.

Okay so..
Sawk - Only one fighting move, no -speed nature, inner focus, hidden power, and grass knot.
Snivy - Cannot use Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Mega Drain, etc.
Pansage - Cannot learn Seed Bomb or evolve until he solos Clay.
Elgyem - ???

@procrastinator4, here's the restriction for your elgyem, catch an elgyem and name it "LGM" (creative, right?). Now, since i'm obviously in a very creative mood the only restriction for LGM is that it must learn and keep psybeam, no other restrictions...OH NO! I just realised that his name won't make much sense as a Beheeyem, you could always change his name to BEM when he evolves but that might confuse him, hmmm... what to do... I'VE GOT IT! To fix this problem just don't evolve LGM, problem solved.
Good luck.

Take a Roggenrola. It must survive ten hits with Sturdy (must bring it to one HP and have the ability message come up) before it can evolve into Boldore. You may not evolve it to Gigalith. It must solo the Flying gym. Name it Sturday. Yes, include the period.
