well aggron learns surf if you have the appropriate nature...(modest aggron for the win)...The lack of a surfer sucks, but meh.
Technically, no - "Magnitude" is a term used in measurement of a natural phenomenon, not the phenomenon itself. (Similarly, you can have the other weather inducing moves, but you can't have Rain Dance, since the name of the move is a human action.)@ Cantab, I like it. Smeargle makes for fun with move restrictions. Here's to hoping there's something with an appropriate move for her somewhere in Mount Moon (hmm some Hikers could have Magnitude, would that count?)
You are allowed to use other Pokemon until you find the ones you need to complete your Scramble with. Once you find them, however, you have to use them or take an empty slot in your party. So, yes, you can train a Pansear to beat Pansage and/or Lillipup. I think you can beat Lillipup with Oshawott, though.@Dummy007, took me a minute or two to understand all that, but looks like fun. Just one question. Am I allowed to use other Pokemon against Cilan? I was under the illusion I could only use my Scramblemons, even for healing and such. Maybe I'm just crazy. o.o
Trade in a Weavile from Platinum at level 5 nicknamed Memphis. This will be your starter.
By the Elite Four it must know the following moveset, with each of its moves inspired by something about my hometown:
Gang Wars: Beat Up/Swagger
Murder: Metal Claw/Poison Jab
Sports: Agility/Quick Attack/Taunt
Bipolar Weather: Sunny Day/Rain Dance/Hail
Also, it must have learned three of these moves by Mahogany, where it must solo Pryce. (You can teach it two of the moves in Platinum, if need be.)
Murkrow! If you want to evolve him with a Dusk Stone, go right ahead, but you're going to need to solo Chuck with him either way. However, Murkrow has a few restrictions...:
- Can't be higher than level 45 when you face the Elite 4
- Can only have ONE Flying move at a time, including status moves eg. Roost.
- Must get at least KO in the following: Morty, Jasmine (*trollface*), Pryce, Clair, Koga, Karen, Lance, Blue, Red.
- Can be no higher than level 70 when you face Red.
- Must lead vs. Ho-Oh. BIRD RIVALRY
Slowpoke! Slowpoke is SIGNIFICANTLY more American than Sneasel (who was undoubtedly born in Kenya), as it is lazy, slow, and rather unintelligent. Its final moveset must be:
Laziness: Rest / Slack Off
Slowness: Yawn / Trick Room
Fatness: Substitute / Light Screen (TV, get it? hahaha)
Stupidity: Amnesia / Swagger (because swagg is stupid)
You may have noticed that this entire movepool consists of status moves. Now, as much as Americans care about status, they care more about power. As such, you may replace one move up there for every five Gym Trainers Slowpoke solos. However, every new move you use must have 120 or higher base power (including STAB), and it may not apply this cop-out until it knows (simultaneously) one move each from two of the above categories. It may not evolve until it has learned one move from each category at some point. Name it Green Day. (Props for reference)
you get Norris the Poliwag...
must be evolved into poliwrath before e4...
moveset of substitute, focus punch, waterfall, filler as soon as possible...
beat 5 e4 pokemon using only substitute and focus punch...
solo 2 kanto gym leaders using only sub and f-punch...
Start with a Cyndaquil, name it Fire Power. To evolve, it must solo 5 trained Water Type Pokemon with Fire Type moves, & a further 25 to evolve again.
Scrappy, the Heracross. Scrappy loves to pick fights with opponents bigger than him, and as such, can only fight Pokemon at a higher level than him. Also, since he hates anyone who can fight as good as him, he must solo any fighting type Pokemon you come across (unless a solo is needed for another challenge).
Ehh...you might wanna look up.- Must get at least KO in the following: Morty, Jasmine (*trollface*), Pryce, Clair, Koga, Karen, Lance, Blue, Red.
