Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Well then, why don't you try Loser the Chickorita. Loser, when she was little, lost every battle she was in. As such, she cannot faint. If she does, she must solo 15 trainer owned pokemon for each time she faints. She needs to gain confidence for each new move she learns, so before she can learn a move beyond her first 4, she must complete 1 of the following:
-Solo 1 gym
-Solo 15 trainers
-Skip a move that she could learn by level up, and solo 7 trainers
She must also solo Falkner OR Bugsy to evolve, then must solo your rival twice after Bugsy to evolve again.
Next, she wants to make herself a winner, so she must win 5 pokeathelons in each category. After this, you can name her either Winner or Champion.
She cannot be replaced by Dux, as that would make her feel even more like a loser.
She loves extra effects, so she must have the extra effects of her attacks activate 10 times. She must always keep one of her first 4 moves.
Finally, she must always be in your party, and never be in the last slot.
The soloing of 15 trainer-owned pokemon must be soloed with the move of her first 4 moves chosen.

Good luck to you, and I really like the theme!!

MarshallLeRoy, take a Spinarak and name it Insomniac. Obviously, it must have the ability Insomnia.
This tiny spider is absolutely exhausted, and has trouble summoning the energy to battle.
Every time Insomniac is sent out, it cannot directly attack for one turn, as it still isn't fully awake.

After it evolves, it discovers coffee.
The previous restrictions no longer apply.
Now, it can only use attacking moves, and can never be switched out of battle, because it's on a perpetual caffeine-high.

It must solo one trainer in every gym except two.

You get Churchill the Snubbull. Churchill is a steadfast little doggy, so whenever he faints, he has to either solo a wild Pokemon or learn a new move. He can't evolve unless a Pokemon uses Self-Destruct, Explosion, Egg Bomb or Mud Bomb on him and must solo at least one of Lt. Surge's Pokemon.

OMG, after 13 pages, I've finally finished Update 1 of my Sapphire Scramble. I'll try and get those updated faster, I promise.

MarshallLeRoy, take a Pidgey and name it Tackle. It can only learn Tackle. When it evolves, name it the name of a different move. It must only learn that move. Solo a gym to evolve it. It cannot learn TMs or HMs.

^Um... that's just slightly insane there... I certainly wouldn't take it. Just a warning, there may be a difficulty problem there.

Not necessarily. Tackle the Pidgey could solo Falkner, after a little grinding, then you could rename it Gust, or, if you really grinded it, Wing Attack.
With a STAB flying-type move, soloing Bugsy, or maybe Bruno, would be a snap.
It's challenging, but certainly not insane.

Marshall, take Psychic! the Togepi. Obviously, it will come from the Mystery Egg. You may NOT soft-reset for another nature or ability (so if you get Hustle, sucks for you), it must be the first one. It must keep Extrasensory and Metronome, and can never forget them. To evolve, it must get a Psychic move (of any kind, attacking or status) 10 times from Metronome. It must solo any Gym Leader (Johto or Kanto, and it does not have to be as Togepi), but it can only use Extrasensory or Metronome during the battle.

Marshal, here are your Dux restrictions:
1. Must hold Stick
2. Must know Swords Dance OR Agility
3. Must use that move first.
4. Teach it Fly and Slash.
5. I think it learns Leaf Blade so teach it that.
6. If no Leaf Blade, then Night Slash.
7. Solo one E4 member the first time.
8. Solo a different E4 member the second time.
9. Must be your highest level poke.
10. Solo two of Red's pokes.
11. Dux must be placed in your team ASAP!

Marshal Take:

Pigdey the Pidgey
It can't evolve or battle, or level up, or gain any experience, it is just there to be a HM Slave.

^????? First of all, I thought you said you were retiring, or did you mean from TRC?

Second of all, have you lost your marbles???????

Finally, for everyone else, I am going to tough out my current scramble. I hope to have an update by the end of today.

Accepted! I'll bend my rules a little and allow Chikorita to stick right from the beginning. Will update as to which of the first 4 moves I keep.

The previous restrictions no longer apply.
Now, it can only use attacking moves, and can never be switched out of battle, because it's on a perpetual caffeine-high.

It must solo one trainer in every gym except two.

Accepted! This one should be a lot of fun, I was hoping somebody would give my Spinarak, and thankfully not too many restrictions.

So I have to keep it a Snubbull until Lt. Surge on top of the other restriction for evolution? Just want clarification on that before I accept.

Accepted, I really like this, not to mention the Psychic theme will help cover up my fighting weakness somewhat here...

MarshallLeRoy, take a Pidgey and name it Tackle. It can only learn Tackle. When it evolves, name it the name of a different move. It must only learn that move. Solo a gym to evolve it. It cannot learn TMs or HMs.

This one does seem to have a difficulty factor here that's somewhat unfair, but my main concern is that with Pidgey I will have three Normal/Flying types. Maybe a different Pokemon? Sentret or something with a different type? May accept, not sure. Hopefully I'm not breaking the rules here.

Also, I don't want a team member that's just an HM slave, not to mention Pidgey isn't an ideal HMslave either. Considering the already overall poorness of my party individually, I can't afford to waste a spot on a useless Pokemon.

Accepted, however I cannot accept terms five and six, as both are egg moves, and unfortunately, this Farfetch'd is a finished product without egg moves. The rest of the restrictions I absolutely accept.

So far I have:
Dux + restrictions
Loser the Chikorita
Churchill the Snubbull
Psychic! the Togepi
Insomniac the Spinarak

Need one or two more, hopefully something that isn't a normal type, but if it's something good then just make some tough restrictions. I'll accept up to 8 total Pokemon, so there's some flexibility.

@MarshalLeRoy, take a Ponyta named PONY!!! As a pony, your Ponyta believes strength and speed are very important, so it must always know two physical moves with a base power greater than (Your level * 2). It also must know a move that involves PONY!!! charging at high speed. Since speed is such an important asset, PONY!!! must train to make sure its Speed is the highest. It must always have the highest Speed stat in your party, and if it is ever outsped in battle, it must use its charging move continuously, without switching out or using items, until it or the opposing Pokemon faints.

Ok, teach Dux Air Cutter for Crit HAX.

Lololololol someone didn't do their DAMN research ;)

Anyway, reserving a final poke for Marshal. However is Jessifer posts a different Pokemon that is acceptable, their submission will take priority over mine.

Also@ Axemaster, Wotter has already solo'd like 8 trainers thanks to his grass/electric solos, so I guess I can take that since he's done it already :P. However, I'll keep the super-effective restriction as is; I like the challenge, as I've already said. The solo was just impossible lol. Don't beat yourself up over it, just do your (DAMN) research next time as well :P.

Also @ Ziposaki, I don't think it was too short :P. Axemaster just seems to like long updates (I fear I may be guilty for helping make them the norm with my updates). Keep it up!

Finally, I'll probably be posting chapter 3 sometime tonight. I'm most of the way done it already; I just got to do Route 117, Verdanturf Town and then Wattson's Gym.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Auramaster, ah well.

^sorry, but I was doing this on the run......

I have looked a the moves that Dux can learn, ok? I am sorry about this and I feel like a newbie here :"(

Anyway, I saw that Dux cannot handle rock types, teach it Steel Wing. I am sorry once again.

NOTICE: SIGNUPS FOR THE SPL 5 ARE NOW GOING ON IN THE SCRAMBLE GROUP.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS ETC BLAH BLAH BLAH>

Accepted, although my only concern is that Ponyta is fairly late-game, but that's alright.

@Jimera0, since Ponyta is a later game pickup, and I want some kind of flexibility in my party, feel free to give me a Poke!

And @King Serperior; accepted.
