Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Nah, you're not ninjaing me. I'll give Arceustar "Aegis" the Mienfoo.

Since you wanted Super Easy, I'll go for creativity rather than difficulty (insert fan girl* "OMG Treadshot's so nice!" scream here).

You get Aegis the Mienfoo. Catch him in Dragonspiral Tower, ground floor. Any and all Goletts on that floor that you run into should be killed, because Goletts suck. According to Aegis they suck, anyways.

Aegis is one of those Pokemon who just really don't like...well, being told he's too cute now and should evolve. Aside from his name being derived from the pink Aegis Gundam, which is awesome and was succeeded by crap, he also evolves into Mienshao, which isn't anywhere near as awesome as Mienfoo. He's cute and feisty now, but his evolved form is far from what he'd like to look like. So, to make sure that doesn't happen, don't evolve him.**

Secondly, Aegis just really likes actually looking cute. He hates the fact that the evolved forms of so many Pokemon look so...mean. I mean, who wouldn't hug a Riolu, or love a Shinx? But Lucario and Luxray? Oh no, that just won't do. So have him solo any and all evolved Pokemon who evolve from cute prevos. Cute is anything that can enter Amity Square, and anything else that is just so adorable! I'm trusting your judgment here, so be honest and if it evolves from something cute, have Aegis kill it.

Finally, Aegis has to solo Marshal. I mean, what is that guy's problem? Martial arts are all fine and dandy, but...he has a Mienshao! NO!!! And all his Pokemon are so grown up and not cute. Always worried about being strong. What a laugh. Kill all his Pokemon, damnit. And do it without using more than 2 items. Because you don't need to be strong to kill his weak team.

Oh, and since Grimsley still knows something about style (albeit in a dark and slightly creepy manner), have Aegis sit out that battle. He may only enter the battle if all your other Pokemon have fainted, and even then he cannot use Fighting moves in that battle.

*I suppose Jimera0 screaming would also do. I mean, me? Softened somewhat? SOMEWHAT? I should have Arceus use Judgment on you! But you'll make a useful fanboy, so I guess I'll be merciful. ;)
** I actually love Mienshao, both ScarfShao and LO Fake Out Mienshao are awesome, and I haven't built a single BW OU team without one of them. But by Arceus, what were Game Freak thinking? That design is ugly as hell, it's looks like a walking two footed mutant cat with weird fabric things hanging off it's hands. Mienfoo is so much CUTER!!! Still, can't deny the awesomeness of U-Turn and Regenerator with STAB HJK.

Reserving for Arceustar.

Arceustar, take the first Sandile you find on Route 4. Its restrictions depend on it's ability.

Moxie: Name your Sandile Warrior. Warrior loves to fight, and he's good at it too. In fact, he's near unstoppable! If Warrior gets a KO, it may not switch out for the rest of the battle, since Warrior knows that if he does, he won't be using his great ability to its maximum potential. Warrior may not know any status moves, since he's all about offense, offense, offense. Warrior must solo Elesa to evolve, because she is infamous as one of the most annoying gym leaders in Unova, and Warrior is determined to put an end to her.

Intimidate: Name your Sandile Shield. Shield was made to be a wall; he just can't help it! Since all walls have at support moves, Shield must know two status moves at all times, and use one in every battle. However, Shield is kinda sad that he always Intimidates other pokemon and scares the away- he doesn't mean to! To help him to understand that he isn't the only one, Shield must solo 15 trainer-owned pokemon with Intimidate. After completing this, Shield may evolve.

Arceustar, take an Oshawott named Richie.

Like his name suggests, this Oshawott thinks he's loaded. To show off his wealth, he must solo your rival's starter on every free encounter. But Richie also handles his business like a maffioso: He thinks he can just bribe his way through this challange by throwing money at every restriction he doesn't like: You can skip the rival solo, for instance, by paying $500 x your number of badges. However, if you ever fail a restriction, you must pay a fine ($1000 x your number of badges). You can pay the money, simply by trashing items from your bag.

Similar to bribing the Rival, Richie has several other rules to screw (he has money). Below is a list of medium difficulty restrictions. You can choose to accept them (and risk paying the $1000 x Badges fine), or you can pay the corresponding price and never worry about them again. Note that you can always decide to break any rule once and simply pay the fine (if you really need to attack ghosts for instance). I've tried to make things easy for you, if things are still too hard you may replace Cheren's Snivy by Bianca's Tepig for a (very) easy challange. For the gym solo's you may reset as often as you wish, but giving up means paying the fine.

- Must solo Cheren's Snivy on each encounter ($500 x Number of Badges)
- Must solo Clay ($5000)
- Must solo Caitlin ($10000)
- Cannot hold an item ($2000)
- Cannot use X-items in battle ($5000)
- Cannot learn status moves by TM ($10000)
- Cannot directly attack Ghost Types ($5000)
- Must keep Focus Energy ($5000)
- Must keep Razor Shell ($2000)

One final thing: Every time you bribe your way through, shout "Screw the Rules, I have money!". If you manage to buy off all restrictions, rename him Godfather and fight Morimoto (or pay $5000 to get out of it).

Have Fun!

I like that one and I'll stick with soloing Snivy

Good Pokemon - I like fighting types and Aegis sounds awesome!

Krookodile is one of my fave Pokemon so this will be fun

Arceustar, catch yourself a Solosis and name her Psych.
This Solosis loves to learn new moves, so every time she learns a new move via level-up, she must replace one of her old moves.

Each gym, after you catch her, she must either solo one trainer or learn a new move via TM.

She must solo two of Marshal's pokes.

Good luck!

Arceustar, not trying to be a mod or anything here, but to the right of the quote button, actually right next to it, is the multi-quote button. Might be of use to you. ;)

Oh, and i'm just going to add this: Even though i personally don't like Woobat, it does have that little pink bit on it, and that makes it fall under the cute category, so Aegis would have to solo all Swoobats. Just making sure you get that.*

*4x resistance to fighting...[/sadistic side of Treadshot]

EDIT: Endquote, Aegis is already soloing Marshal...choose someone else?

Sounds good but marshal is already soloed by Mienfoo - can I change it to Shauntal

Seems like I'll need LOADS of grinding!!

Reserving for Arcesustar.

Give me one moment :)

Take Wacky the Woobat.

Wacky must solo all of the Gym trainers in one gym to evolve. After evolving, solo one Gym Leader.

Solo both rivals once. Cheren as a Woobat and Bianca as a Swoobat. Solo N at the Ferris Wheel and also solo any Buffalaunts you see.

Have fun and good luck.

@Arceustar, take Fighter the Ferroseed. It may not be sent into battle first, it is always under the effects of Taunt, and all 4 of its moves cannot be the same type ASAP. To evolve, it must outspeed and KO 1 trainer-owned Pokemon. Solo at least 1 Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. Good luck!

Oshawott has to beat Cheren's Snivy every time so can I do all but Snivy

Reserving for ArceusStar. Will edit in a minute.

EDIT:ArceusStar, take Blind the Tympole. Blind cannot see, so you must close your eyes when you are choosing a move, and wave your finger/ the stylus in a circle before choosing. After Blind solos 10 trainers like this, Blind must evolve.

As a Palpitoad, rename Blind Rage. Rage is super angry about being blind for so long, and such must solo your rival and 1 gym leader/ 2 GLs, the sources of his blindness. He is also choice locked, and cannot have any X-items used on him.

Now, that is not very easy, but there is a way to calm him down. To calm him down, he must solo the evil N twice, and you must throw items away with a value of 5000 pokedollars. After this, he is extremely mello, but must solo an E4 member, who rages off when in battle.

Whichever route you choose, Rage can evolve after Brycen.

As a Seismetoad, Rage must make a choice:

If Rage chooses to go Physical, rename him Bulk. Bulk loves bulk and physical moves, so the only moves he can have are physical moves, and he must have at least 1 status move to help out his friends. He must solo your rival/ N once more, and must solo one member of the E4 (if he doesn't already have to).

If Rage chooses to go Special, rename him ATTACK!!!! ATTACK!!!! loves to attack specially, and such can only have a moveset of different special attacks. He wants to ATTACK EVERYTHING!!!! and such cannot switch out unless he faints. He must also solo 15 more trainers, and 1 member of the E4 (again, if he doesn't already have to.)

With all that done, rename Bulk/ ATTACK!!!! Calm, and he can finally relax. No restrictions, except if you face the E4 a second time he must solo 1 different member.

Good luck, and welcome to this thread!!

Also, for those of you who haven't seen it, I have Chapter 7 up. Warning: it's LOOOONG.

It sounds good but I already have six Pokes so I won't be using him
Also I'm starting with Oshawott so I already have a water type

Tehe... whoops. I thought you had 5. Darn it! Oh well, there's always next time.

Also (I almost forgot), C&C on Chapter 7 for me would be great, as I tried something a bit different this time.

I had 5 confirmed and I was double checking the sixth as you posted yours
Ps I promise I'll defenately use yours if I do another one!

Great update as always Ax, just one comment:

STOP GETTING MAH SLOWPOKE HAXD.

On an unrelated note, I want to thank Jimera for being a boss and shifting through the entire thread for the awards. Here's a cookie for your trouble -gives cookie to Jimera-

An a related note to the unrealted note, if there is something you really want to nominate but haven't yet, do it here. Just don't nominate Vanguard. We get it.

Thanks for reminding me waterwarrior, I almost forgot! (again fail XD). Sage Chow, I know Twiggy soloed 2 trainers in the Radio Tower, but I'm not at all sure if he soloed a third (seriously, do you know how many poison types there are in there?). What should I do?

A quick shout out to my fellow SPLers: make your teams now. Only 15 pages until the start of Scramble Premier League 5, and they can go really fast.

Actually, I already got Saiyan a chapter or 2 ago. Sorry, but a lot of my team didn't see action this chapter! Saiyan will definately see action next chapter, on my way to Blackthorn. Did you like Chapter 7?
