Come on Taylor, how can you say that Fletcher, Scholes, O'Shea and Giggs aren't good enough to play for Utd. I mean, first of all Giggs was player of the year and was excellent in CM/in the hole whenever he played. I wouldn't even say Giggs was past his best, though he was one beast of a winger in his heydays and had everything he was often injured (hamstrings) and inconsistent at times whereas the Giggs we saw last season was one of the best 3 players on the pitch in almost all the games he played.Fletcher started more games than anyone in CM, his goals carried us early season and utterly ripped apart Chelsea when partnered with Giggs so obviously either must be doing something right.
O'Shea shouldn't start when everyone is fit but without him we'd have been fucked in so many seasons, 02/03 when he performed at left back and we won the league, 05/06 his partnership with Giggs in CM saved us from complete embarrassment when Fletcher was shite, Keane left and Scholes was injured and this season he had probably his best season since 02/03 playing regularly just at RB.
Scholes is the only one to have had a poor season, but at his age really he needs a string of games to get going, which he wasn't going to get with so much competition. He still has more than enough quality to play for us.
Each man to his own, but I wouldn't be satisfied with relegation. I'd expect Rooney and Berbatov to get 20 each minimum, considering that Berbatov scored 23 in both seasons at the inferior Spurs and that Rooney has no reason not to improve his tally (20) from last season. Owen should net around 15, heck he even scored 13 for Newcastle -- fucking Newcastle.
Because often he does jobs that no-one notices, like tracking a winger that Rafael abandoned to attack up the pitch, or just balancing our midfield in general and creating space for others through intelligent movement. I fully expect Valencia and Nani to be first choice wingers, for two reasons: first is that Valencia is good at tracking back and Wes Brown is better at defending than Rafael so Park isn't needed defensively and the second is that we need more goals from midfield and that Nani is the only person I'd bet on making it into double figures.

I'd be satisfied if Owen, Rooney and Berbatov scored 10 each with random goals from the rest of the team.

The Park needs game time comment is amusing and understandable...I rarely notice he's there.
