Chelsea 7 - 1 Villa.
:pirate:
MON sounded like he was crying during his interview afterwards, don't blame him; you can't control everything as a manager.

Meanwhile, Roma host Inter today (Currently 2-1) and have a chance to go within one point of them, and the chance to give Milan the same opportunity tomorrow. Inter should take this title but seeing Milan - or even Roma - win it would really be something special. Why did Hull have to win today? They deserve to go down and never shame the Premier League with their presence again.

Roma have won after Milito hit the post in the 95th minute. We may finally get a Serie A champion that isn't a bunch of cunts.

Don't forget that Manchester United beat Bolton with 0-4 in the Reebok Stadium and still standing on the top of the table without Rooney but with a splendid Ryan Giggs. Next week is going to be brutal. Tuesday the Champions League match against Bayern Munich in Geramny and Saterday THE match that can make or break us: Manchester United - Chelsea on Old Trafford

Benfica wins vs Braga (2nd) 1-0 to get 6 points clear with 6 rounds to go. Biggest advantage in european leagues, I think.

Also, HOW THE HELL did Milito missed that one. I mean, come on.

Right and that stopped penalty against Hull last week was just a mistake, because Almunia was sure that the player would kick the other way?

Sorry for my annoying Ajax/Eredivisie-****.

Discussion points about the Premier League.

- What club will be #4, do you think? Everybody talks about the championship (which is more important), but #4 is interesting too.

- Favourite Premier League manager in the 21th century?

Tottenham Hotspur.

- Favourite Premier League manager in the 21th century?
Martin Jol (Tottenham Hotspur, 2004-2007).

Top 5 prediction.

1 ManUtd
2 Chelsea
3 Arsenal
4 Tottenham
5 Liverpool

Well, nothing wrong with that prediction I think

Tottenham are going to stay on that #4 spot. Liverpool are still in the Europa League and that means they have to spread their energy over both leagues. Although I think that they have a shot of winning the Europa League, I don't think that they can bring back the Champions League football for next season

UEFA Champions League, Quarter Final 1st Leg
Tuesday 30th March, 2010
19.45 GMT
Allianz Arena: Capacity 66,000

Four-time European Champions Bayern Munich meet three-time European Champions Manchester United in the first leg of a mouthwatering tie in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals. Manchester United's record against the German side isn't great, with only one victory in seven attempts. However, that victory was in the memorable Champions League final of 1999, with Manchester United winning 1-2 with both of their goals coming in injury time. Bayern Munich have also only beaten Manchester United twice in those seven games, a draw has been the most common result.

Possible Match-Day Squads:

Butt
Lahm van Buyten Demichelis Badstuber
Müller Tymoshchuk van Bommel Ribéry
Olic Gomez

Nani Rooney Valencia
Park
Carrick Fletcher
Evra Vidic Ferdinand Neville
van der Sar

Schweinsteiger could start for Bayern, if they decide to go for one striker and match Manchester United's predicted three-man central midfield. Or, Klose could start over Gomez as his match fitness may not be up to scratch. I'm going off the basis that Robben will miss out, but there's obviously a chance he could make it. Ribéry was a reported doubt but I think he'll definitely play. I have no idea what the bench would likely be for Bayern though..

As for Manchester United, I can't see us going for anything other than a three in the middle. It'll be Fletcher and Carrick paired with either Park, Scholes, or Giggs. If Nani doesn't start, then I think Giggs or Scholes will start in midfield, with Park playing left wing. Rafael could start over Neville as well, as he likely has more pace to deal with Ribéry. I'm sure Fletcher and Valencia will help out whoever plays Right Back, though.

As for the bench: Kuszczak; Rafael, Evans; Scholes, Giggs; Berbatov, Macheda.

I think Manchester United are favourites and will probably win, but I'm going to say a score draw of 1-1 if Robben/Ribéry play. If they don't play, I can see United holding off Bayern a lot more easily and possibly picking them off 0-2 or 0-3.

Schweinsteiger is suspended, he won't be playing, Havak.

I hope Berbatov starts against Bayern, playing in a 4-4-2. Berby has German experience, and he's in great touch right now. Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs, Valencia in midfield, while the back 4 chooses itself. Maybe Nani will start over Giggs or Valencia though.

Oh shit yeah, I forgot about that. I'm not sure who else Bayern would risk throwing into a midfield three then.. Maybe they will go 442 and just try their best to outscore United even if they compromise their defence even more.

Berbatov has been doing everything right lately, but in a European away tie I can't see Sir Alex changing his tried and trusted system from the past 2-3 years, which have brought United amazing Champions League success, as well as the longest unbeaten streak away from home.

First half is over. Manchester United leading with 0-1 in the Allianz Arena after 2 minutes. The goal was from Rooney. After the goal Manchester United was playing a bit sloppy with chances for Bayern. I hope that the second half will be more attacking thougths of Park and Scholes. Especailly Park had a rought time with Lahm who does more attacking then defending

Ugh, great start, followed by the worst possible end. Rooney's injury looks bad. United sat back too much and were poor really

Bayern won from Man Utd and it was deserved. I think Bayern will advance: Next week Robben is back. I didn't expect it to happen without Robben.

Meh, pretty woeful display by United. Overall we really lacked intensity and just sat back too much..Not so sure how much Bayern "deserved" that win though, it was more United's poor play than anything special from Bayern. I mean their goals were a deflected free kick that would have otherwise been no trouble, and the....whatever you wanna call what happened in the last minute. Nothing else Bayern did was really that spectacular.

So yeah disappointing loss, but still we did get the away goal so it's not actually that bad of a result. Bayern will have Robben back, but still United at Old Trafford, I wouldn't say that Bayern has it won just yet lol. The real issue I think is Rooney limping off, hopefully it's not serious at all.

Also I'm surprised that no one is mentioning Rooney's miss in the first half, I believe it was Fletcher who crossed it and some defender missed a header allowing Rooney to trap the ball on the 6 yard box...admittedly the ball was a bit under him and on his left foot, but I still really feel Rooney should have been able to finish this off, and it would have made it 0-2 and pretty much gg right there...

Sure, Again a total misjudgement because simply you think that 1 single (Dutch) player can decide if a club will advance or not. Manchester United will play in Old Trafford. 1 goal is enough and I don't know if you noticed, but not a lot of clubs returned home from Old Trafford with a smile

I think it because Bayern is dependant on him. If they can win without him, they can get a draw in Manchester with him. 1-1 Rooney and Robben next week.

I didn't really care who won, but I watched. Bayern was the least bad. Bayern was bad, Manchester was worse.

I only care about Ajax.

Great game between Arsenal and Barca, i await the comments about Messi not turning up or being rubbish, he was the reason Arsenal were so high up in defence, double marking him , which allowed the two easy goals and for Alves to rip Arsenal apart.

Barça dominates the first 70 minutes, Arsenal comes back to tie the game in the last 20.
Dammit Walcott, you're in the wrong sport, go beat the crap outta Usain Bolt.
