You should say that to anyone else on the planet with a serious bracket lol? The result of that game did mot affect my placing among the top brackets on ESPN at all, especially because I have them usually losing to Marquette anyway so its not many points lost.

Dear MIZZOU,

Why don't you buy me dinner because you already FUCKED ME

Love,
matty

Dear DUKE,

Your friend MIZZOU already fucked me earlier today. I think it's time we try the DP.....

Love,
matty

As someone who had Duke losing in round three, and Mizzou in round four, I wrote a haiku.

Upsets are fine here
As long as they don't involve
Kansas and M. State

Thank goodness Xavier won, I had them taking down Duke in the next round, should be easier to take down Lehigh! First round finish: 24 of 32 predicted correctly.

I feel like I picked every upset which didn't happen on my Smogon bracket. I picked BYU, Virginia, West Virginia, Uconn, Harvard, and So. miss as my upsets (along with Purdue and Ohio, which were right). :p. At least all my final 4 teams (including Purdue) are still alive. My online eliminated e8 team was mIzzou, so I could survive this.

my best bracket has 9 wrong picks. And its in the top 10% overall. Good god.

oh man what a day. what a fucking DAY.

after yesterday's general disappointment and 14/16 going chalk, today we get a grand total of EIGHT higher seeds winning, and two 2 seeds losing on the same day when only 4 have ever lost r1 EVER.

damn

lots of good close games too. the 7 PM block of games were all really good but a lot of them were overshadowed by dook sucking. st mary's/purdue and michigan/ohio were both pretty interesting finishes, and memphis hung in there for a long time.

Best game of the day of course has to go to NORFOLK STATE. My bracket on this yahoo pool was strangely called "duke sucks mizzou sucks more". Weird. Notable mention is Creighton/Alabama St which was close all the way, and the huge turnaround by USF. Florida St/Bonaventure was real good too.
Worst? IDK. So many good ones. I think a lot of people were pulling for Detroit but come on, three 15 seeds in one day? Florida came out real strong and made for a pretty uninteresting game. A lot of people expected Georgetown to choke too but they had a pretty easy victory. The real losers are the refs though. A lot of fairly bad officiating, especially in Michigan/Ohio.
Winning conference: Big ten, I guess? Michigan was an embarrassment, but the rest have proven themselves strong. Every other conference had its winners and losers.
Losing conference: Mountain West kinda disappointed. Always like to hate on the big least come tourney time but USF looked VERY good in the second half. And most of their embarrassments were yesterday.
Biggest surprise: USF. And, you know, the 15 seeds. NC State impressed as well.
Biggest disappointment: San Diego St, Temple, and the last possessions of several of the close games. But that's just how it goes. The ND/Xavier one must've been painful for a ND fan though. That's a shitty way to lose.

so somehow i've only lost 3 sweet 16 teams (temple, duke, and san diego st). Still have my whole elite 8 despite going 21/32. XD

How in the world was SDSU in your Sweet 16? SDSU is like Mizzou with less talented shooters: they usually run 3-4 guards. NC State's bigs would have kept pressuring all game (and they did, which is why it was a statement win). NC State had the much better team: this is a team that took Syracuse to the wire for 30 minutes, led Duke by 20 in their home court, and pushed UNC to the wire. They could be a big Cinderella story: I have them in my Sweet 16 (their match against Georgetown should be a classic).

I've lost 2 Elite 8's and 3 Sweet 16's (Duke/Mizzou in my Elite 8's, throw in Michigan in my Sweet 16). At least my Final 4 is intact, but I have a feeling one of them is going to go down real soon. And I can easily guess which one.

Ended the round 22/32. Missed Iowa State, VCU, Colorado, Lehigh, St. Louis, Florida, Norfolk St., Ohio, Georgetown, and Gonzaga.

26/32 puts one in the 100th percentile lol.

I missed Lehigh, Norfolk State, Xavier, Florida, USF, Purdue. Only lost one elite eight, but a few sweet sixteens. All that matters is final four anyway. Goooo Murray State!

I was mildly terrified being on lehigh's campus last night. People rioted and lit stuff on fire. Go lehigh I guess.

What a fucking tournament.

And here I thought it would be a breeze for the top teams.

Madness indeed. But at least now I can just enjoy each game without worrying about my bracket, it is dearly fucked. My East section is the only one untouched and looking solid. Like that matters.

cause nc state didn't impress me and i thought san diego could pull off another good run. plus who else is gonna take that spot? georgetown? i think nc state can beat gtown after watching them

and honestly i dont have time to follow the whole regular season so i usually pick teams partially based on their performance in the year before. believe it or not the same teams tend to choke year after year. and hell vcu won. and rarely is the team terribly different the next year unless they lose either their whole team or someone like kemba walker
