Just reiterating what other captains said here, but IRC is really important. I have had 3 or 4 users pm me, join our IRC channel (#southus), and really impress me with their skills. Please do this fairly quickly. If you wait until he 22nd or 23rd, chances are you won't make it. Conflict provided a good link on how to get IRC started. What I want to see is your prediction skills, team building skills, basic logic skills, etc.

Everyone looking to join team Latin America go to channel #la on IRC (if you have no idea how to use IRC there is a guide here), it's important to get yourself know.

I look forward to seeing you all there. Expect more details on the team selection process soon!
 
For those people who, like me, can't get mIRC to work you should go to www.mibbit.com/chat
Change the server to SynIRC (use the drop down menu) Then put your username in as the nick and click go.
A tab will come up. In this tab type /join channel so you would type in "/join #ocn" if you wanted to go to that channel.

there are no formal times, just hang around #CANADA and ask one of our @ or + dudes if you can show your stuff. saving your battle logs would be helpful for me too!

Alright thanx i already battled Atticus and i lost, so is the final decision up to you or jackal?
 
I am glad to see a lot of captains being proactive, well done.

As for Canada, I have gotten a lot of pms, and like many others have said IRC is really the best way. Either check the irc guide Mizuno linked to or use mibbit like Iloveliza instructed, those will both work.

Also, the playoff match between mexico and brazil has been editted into post 2, you guys have until when the rosters are due to finish these battles, June 25th. Best of luck to both teams!
 
Like all the captains, I recall that all the French guys who have signed up must come very quickly on French Time or send me PM's.

It's useless to wait until June 25 for that. It'll be too late.

As usual, a few persons are already accepted in the team, because they have played last year or because their level is well known. However, it won't be enough ! So please, join us. Tests are hold up all the day.

(I edit my last post with the host / port of French Time for several reasons. So, if you want it, please, send me a PM.)
 
Germany doesnt have an IRC channel, because we can do our tryouts through the forum and the team is usually on pokemonexperte shoddy server, so we dont need IRC to chat

If it's necessary we can make a channel, but we dont have much use for it


I already sent pms to everyone, who may be in the team. If I forgot someone please send me a pm

Hey, I'm posting to know of the Mexico team we have to go against.

If possible, I want to know the smogon nickname of the mexican guys we are going to play against, so we can communicate ourselves by PM, as during the week I don't have access to MSN Messenger or mIRC.

I would like to know your timezone too.

@ Mako: Thanks, our timezone is GMT -3 for everyone of our team (there are two timezones here in Brazil), my doubt is if a player from their side lives in another country.
