RODAN

Banned deucer.
you are trapped in an airplane plummeting towards the ocean.

all you have in your inventory is;
14ft of rope
2 bird cages
a fishing rod
an ant farm
a bottle of glue

how do you escape?

you have 15 minutes

what kind of fishing rod? I'd probably attempt to catch a Ducklett or Pelipper with Fly and have it float me to the nearest Pokemon center safely

take fishing line, glue, and your clothes and fashion a parachute (since 1 m^2 of fabric slows your descent ~33% if i remember correctly)
use rope to make harness, fishing line is your steering
use birdcages/fishing pole to bust a window or door
pray to deer god and jump

edit for all you people saying "JUST BREAK THE SURFACE TENSION": http://mythbustersresults.com/episode5

Construct a spear using broken off metal bits from one of the bird cages in combination with the glue and rope. Use the spear to defeat/rob the air marshal and take his gun. Dive out of the plane when it's 50 feet above the water and start firing into the water as you descend. The bullets will break the surface tension of the water, allowing you to survive your fall and make your way back up to the surface using a reservoir of air constructed from the ant farm and the rest of your glue. Find the deployed air ramp of the plane and use it as a flotation device, steering with your spear. Head towards the biggest, puffiest clouds, a sure indication of land.

Jump into the ocean. Duh. I bet I could survive for a couple hours from there depending on what the temperature is and if there are sharks. Maybe a boat floats by. Maybe there's an island. Maybe I'm Amelia Earhart and still secretly alive on an island in the pacific. At the age of 115. Weirder shit has happened.

edit: come on guys really? Just wait by the plane exit until you are about 50ft above the water and dive in. No need for Macgyver plans.

let the ants eat you until your body weight is that of a coconut

the two birds in the bird cages will then be easily able to carry you to safety

/inventory
14 Feet of rope
2 Bird cages
A fishing rod
An ant farm
A full bottle of glue

/look west
Out of your window you see nothing but the ocean slowly coming closer into view.

/go east
You are standing in the aisle, avoiding the other panicked travelers. Directions are north, south, east, west.

/go north
You are standing in the aisle, and to the west you can see the emergency exit. Directions are north, south, east, west.

/go west
You are in front of the emergency exit. The door is not yet opened. Outside the window, you can see the ocean. Directions are east, west.

/open door
Using all your might, you turn the lever which suddenly removes the door from the plane and it flies away into the distance. A strong wind is now pushing through the door and into the aisle.

/use rope with chair
You tie the rope around the chair next to the emergency exit.

/throw bird cage west
You throw a bird cage out into the open and it sails over the wing and vanishes in the distance. You have 1 bird cage left.

/use glue on shoes
You empty the glue bottle onto the bottoms of your shoes. Your shoes are now very sticky.

/look
The plane is still heading towards the water. The pilot has managed to reduce the angle of approach but the collision is unavoidable. Not much time is remaining. Directions are east, west.

/tie rope around me
You tie the loose end of the rope around your waist. The other end is tied around the nearby chair.

/go west
Are you sure you want do to that?

/yes
You jump out of the emergency exit and you are flung back towards the wing. You manage to plant your feet on the wing and your shoes grip the surface of the wing just enough to maintain your position for a short time. Directions are west, south, north.

/look
The water is approaching fast. You can now see a small beige area on the water to the north. The adhesive on your shoes is wearing off. You only have enough time to make a few more decisions before impact.

/wait
The plane is about to hit the water. Time to make your last decision.

/jump
The adhesive on your shoes wears off. You jump into the air and the rope around your waist snaps from wearing against the edge of the emergency exit. You see the plane fly out from under you into the water and suffer major damage on impact. You land in the water with a resounding smack. You are sore and the water is cold, but you're alive. The plane is sinking not too far away from you. Directions are north, south, east, west.

/look north
There is a beige area in the distance.

/swim north
You swim far enough to recognize that the area is a small island. You are getting tired. Directions are north, south, east, west.

/eat ants
You pour some ants out from the ant farm into your hand and make short work of them. It was a disgusting but energizing snack.

/swim north
With your last bit of energy, you reach the small island. You crawl up onto the shore and collapse to rest.

/look
You can see parts of the airplane sinking or floating, but most has vanished by now. There is a box on the other side of the small island and a tree in the middle. There is water in all directions.

/rest
You aren't as sore any more but you are cold and hungry. There is water in all directions.

/fish
You cast out your fishing line and wait for a bite.

If possible, get out of seat and find a place where you can site down and be steady when the plane crashes (you don't want to be in your seat when it crashes because the chairs could pin you.) Keep all the other inventory because you can use it to build a raft out of the debris and survive on the ocean.

Pray that you were destined to survive the crash and then forge a bond with the other survivors, becoming more and more desperate as some of them die and you uncover strange truths about the surroundings you have now decided to make your home. Also, blow up the hatch.

Depends on the glue, but my first reaction would be to try and get high off of the glue and escape the situation entirely.

Break loose one rod from the birdcage.

Flatten one tip by smashing it with the bottom of the birdcage.

Use your new screwdriver to fix the plane.

Fly away.

you are in a jungle camp, no one is there but you are surrounded by irate natives and poisonous snakes, whats worse is that the building you are in is on fire
you have; a folding chair, a ball of yarn, binoculars, a grossly oversized key, and a tire jack

Kill myself with the tire jack. Let the natives eat my dead body and take everything. Meet God.

Everyone benefits.

i tie the key to the ball of yarn to fashion a makeshift grappling hook, using the tire jack as a ledge off the side of the building to better establish my trajectory

i swing to a nearby tree, set up the folding chair, and use the binoculars to watch the carnage of the natives battling the poisonous snakes as the building falls to ashes behind them

Break one of the lenses of the binoculars with the tire jack. Thread the yarn with itself, giving it more tensile strength. Attach a shard of broken glass to the yarn and you have a decent mid-range weapon. Bonus points are awarded for killing a snake and using its poison on the shard of glass, making your weapon even deadlier.

After killing a few of the irate natives, there should be a decent enough sized hole among them to run through to help you get out of the building. If it is ever necessary to jump a long distance, get leverage from standing on the folding chair and swing your weapon to hook onto the nearest tree.

From the tree, you would need to keep moving before the fire spreads to it. Use the side of the binoculars you did not break to find a safe looking spot and eventually a road.

Once on the road, break the other lens of the binoculars and set some pieces of glass on the road in order to flatten the tire of some unsuspecting traveler on this road. When they pull over to change their tire, offer your tire jack and hitchhike with them until you reach a city.

Problem solved.

Remain in the building until enough of it collapses that the natives think I'm dead. Escape the wreckage, using the tire jack to lift the debris as necessary. Use the ball of yarn as a fuse that will set the village (or jungle, as the case may be) ablaze. Find the nearest river. Use the remaining yarn to connect the chair to shore, then use the chair as a flotation device. Use the flat part of the key as a mirror to signal any planes that come to subdue the fire, and as a weapon to fight off any aquatic predators. If no planes arrive, saw through the yarn, then use the key as a paddle and make your way downstream to look for civilization.

set out ball of yarn to lure panther

lure a native into the ring and give him the chair

use binoculars to spot a jeep

realize that the jaguar is my soul animal and tame it

ride jaguar to broken jeep

fix jeep with tire jack

drive jeep while jaguar bro mans the turrent, clearing the path of snakes and deterring the natives from approaching

use binoculars to find voltron

insert giant key into voltron
