I see, i too like the idea of double elimination in experiment tournaments in order to promote creativity and more data to base on

I was simply concerned about the calculation i made. It will take about 9 to 12 rounds to complete this tournament depending on how much are kicked because of inactivity.
Knowing it takes about 1/3 of a month to complete a round on average ( up to 18 days for the first round to one week for the last rounds) this tournament will last about 3 months or in a worst case scenario 4

However probably you guys have more organisation talent then i am so hopefully it won't end up like this

GL for hosting further tournament as it won't be easy

Tuskate vs Mercurialism – Mercurialism shows no activity, so Tuskate gets the win, but no points.
RB Golbat vs OGBaLLiN – Both were active, so they have until Monday to finish.
Goldfan vs Druggedfox – Goldfan is much more active, and Druggedfox even failed to post in the thread, so Goldfan gets the win.
Havak vs Xenogears – Both are active, so I’ll extend it until Monday.
Sikh Assassin vs TAY – Both are active, so I’ll extend it until Monday.
Brawley vs Mysterio713 - Both are active, so I’ll extend it until Monday.
stone cold22 vs FiveKRunner – Both are active so I’ll extend it until Monday.
DawnBringer vs Atticus – Both are active so I’ll extend it until Monday.

For those who had a match extension, be aware I’ll be coin flipping the uncompleted matches after Monday December 15, at 4:00pm (GMT-7)
As for those who have completed their matches, the next round should hopefully be up on Wednesday.

I’ll be posting a usage chart alongside the pairings, but the upcoming rounds will also have customized rules, so take note that you *may* have to swap your teams up next round.

Any Queries should be referred to me since Articanus is on vacation atm ;)
 
Olie, I think you're being a little unfair on Xenongears behalf. I haven't been active, he has (to my knowledge). My PC was actually destroyed through a few viruses and Windows Security Center and loads of other programs deleting themselves. I've managed to save a few things (including my Scales team xD lol), but I only managed to get my PC working properly again yesterday. And a little later today (probably within the next half an hour) I'll be installing another gig of RAM and my new Surround Sound system, and I've a busy weekend ahead, so I'm unsure if I'll be able to battle this weekend either at the moment.

However, extending until Monday may give me enough time to get the match done, so if Xenongears and yourself agree, I'd be happy to try and play. But if Xenon wants the free win, or you think he should have it, then I'm not opposed to that at all, it's completely fair.

Havak if you can get a team together by the deadline then of course we will battle. PM me when you are ready on the forums or on Shoddy if you see me there. I would rather battle then take a free win.
 
Articanus will be doing most of the tourney in january since I have finals to prepare for, he's just a bit busy at this time :P

Also I've been questioned recently about the skymin situation.
It was voted uber, even just temporarily, but several people have purchased it.

To Avoid conflict, those who have purchased Shaymin-s will have three points refunded to use for the upcoming rounds. If Shaymin-s returns to OU during the course of the tournament, we will allow purchases of it once again.
 
there are pretty clear timezone issues between diploman and I. just posting to warn that I'm not at all confident that we'll be getting our match done, though I'll try my best.
 
ummm.. i never had a match with dawnbringer, i dont understand how I got the loss o_O, but tbh i havent really tried hard to find him, i did go on shoddy a bit but never managed to find him.. ugh

Olie, seriously....I have pm'd 5k, he never responded. I contacted him on shoddy the only two times I saw him, and he kept delaying it. I am on shoddy everyday and always look for him. He has to put in some effort.
 
For those who have not finished, you have about 16 hours until the final calls are made. I suggest you post here under any circumstance (if you haven't finished your match) so at least I can take your activity into greater account.
 
PM'd Sikh a few days ago saying I was available any time since it's break. He responded with: "OK :)"

So as much as he's a cool dude I have to go ?__?
