Lol I didn't think you went for early 90's grunge Aero...

1. Tenacious D
2. Rise Against
3. All That Remains
4. Disturbed
5. Killswitch Engage
H: A7X, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Ozzy Osbourne, SOAD

1. Catch 22

I love all of these bands!

Here's mine:
1. Streetlight Manifesto
2. Bomb the Music Industry!
3. Reel Big Fish
4. Mad Caddies
5. Vampire Weekend

1. The Beatles
2. The Jimi Hendrix Experience
3. Eric Clapton/Cream
4. Stevie Ray Vaughan
5. Arctic Monkeys

The Arctic Monkeys just doesn't feel right in this list. Kinda stands out of my standards, but I really like it.

Picking five is really quite difficult as the world of music is vast as it is and ever-expanding. If I really had to pick five though...

1. Cake -- far and away the best concert I've ever been to. Great music, catchy lyrics, just an awesome awesome band.
2. Modest Mouse -- more hit-and-miss than the others, but they hit much more often than not. Another great concert band as their selection is so massive, plus they don't usually play their hits so one truly never knows what to expect.
3. The Decemberists -- great story-telling band, they're of a rare breed that their albums are meant to be listened to from start to finish, but their songs are still good enough to stand on their own.
4. Sufjan Stevens -- dunno if that counts since he's really an artist but he is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. He plays all of his own instruments (and there are a lot of them) and he can write songs without breaking a sweat. I really hope he continues with his 50 States project so that I can never stop listening to him.
5. The Hold Steady -- their music is so full of soul and passion it's hard not to like them. The music is catchy and the songs are easy to sing along with.

Apologies to:
The National, Iron & Wine, Band of Horses, M. Ward (again, don't know if he really counts), The Flaming Lips, The Shins, Spoon, and TV on the Radio

1. Catch 22
2. Suburban legends
3. Streetlight Manifesto
4. Flogging Molly
5. The Offspring

Haha I used to be into ska as well, but to me the genre just got stale. Suburban Legends it seemed just recycled old songs, though they were catchy as hell. Streetlight's newest also kept me entertained.

Five is tough...This would most likely change nearly every month if not week..but as of right now I would have to go with these (in no particular order)

Envy - I Don't know what I would do without Envy. Their music really messes with my senses and i love every minute of it. Never gets old.

Between The Buried & Me - Technically perfect and in most parts it's just really fun.

Hopesfall - I love this band, will probably be in my top five always

Kidcrash - This

Moving Mountains - Pneuma is such a huge album for me.. It clears my head and lets me relax. Lt's of good memories with this one.

in no particular order
-Muse
-Queen
-The Beatles
-Matthew Good (Band)
-Justice*

*Justice is a techno/house group that has only released one album, but already has around 6 songs that are absolutely wonderful. Expect them to get big in the future

I'm pretty big on Grunge the song that got me into Rock, Grunge, Metal, and etc was Corduroy by Pearl Jam. I got into this kind of music in late 2006.

In no particular order. . .

Haste the Day - I can't believe I haven't seen there names in this thread yet. There lyrics are unbelievable and actually have meaning behind them. I love everything from When Everything Falls.

Mushroomhead - Always have been a fan. There music really knows how to get me excited and pumped. I wish that Slipknot hadn't come along and completely stolen their concept. . .

Atreyu - I am absolutely in love with everything they made up until Lead Sails and Paper Anchors. I wish they hadn't sold out. . . Ex's and Oh's has to be one of the best written songs I've ever listened too.

Disturbed - Gotta love them. There music is always brand new and original. I could listen to them for years and not get tired of what they're producing.

Green Day - One of the best bands ever to see live IMO. I love everything they've ever produced, even the criticized 21st Century Breakdown. One of the first bands I ever got obsessed with.

Either is really great to me. It all depends on what i'm craving, but i'd have to go with No Wings To Speak Of as my favorite listen.

Yeah, that was an incredible EP. The only reason I never bought the CD is because I couldn't justify spending $10+ on four songs, no matter how amazing they are. For me, nothing can beat The Satellite Years, and it's probably in my top 10 albums of all time.

Tough call, but for me, it would have to be:

1. Linkin Park
2. Disturbed
3. 3 Days Grace
4. Slipknot
5. System of a Down

I'm a pretty light metal guy.

1. David Bowie
2. Tom Waits
3. Talking Heads
4. Crass
5. Nina Simone

Not necessarily in that order, but that is the order they came to me. David Bowie's probably on the top of the list either way.

And, yeah, if listing Wu-Tang Clan includes all the solo stuff their members did under the Wu banner, then they would probably make the list too...
