Resource Ultra SM OU Bazaar

The benchmark you've listed doesn't work.

252 SpA Magnezone Flash Cannon vs. 104 HP / 0 SpD Ninetales-Alola through Light Screen: 343-407 (109.5 - 130%) -- guaranteed OHKO

(The Nugget Bridge damage calc doesn't have Aurora Veil in it, but Light Screen is functionally identical here so I've just used that.)

Even with a timid nature and no specs, Magnezone still nets the kill through Aurora Veil. Additionally, even if it did work, when are you realistically using this benchmark? You don't bring it out to set up on Magnezone unless you either intend to sac off Ninetales to set upa sweep or it is locked into either Thunderbolt (deals 55-65% with Specs under Aurora Veil with no HP investment) or HP Fire (49-58% under same conditions), and you don't realistically threaten it back without HP Ground.

The 104 hp evs are correct, because light screen reduces the damage by 1/3 in doubles and halves the damage in singles.

oh fuck my bad; the NB calc defaulting always catches me out zzzzz.

That said, it is still only timid mag (only used on scarf, which isn't really a good set tbh) and you aren't ever realistically using the benchmark because it outpaces you anyway (so you can't A-Veil against it) and you don't really touch it back anyway short of HP Ground (meaning that you are getting forced out by it either way--not to mention HP Ground only 2HKOs), meaning that it is a matter of asking when this would actually come in useful.

Once again, the differences between the two spreads are pretty minor in practice so I'm probably looking way too deep into this, but IDK maybe it's just me but I don't see the appeal of it personally.

very, very powerful team around iciumz kyurem-b in which i have three accounts in the top 10 with: vertex, poisonous paths, and bludz's father (lol).

spikes greninja wears down kyurem-b's checks without having to use a z-crystal. even after the crystal is consumed, freeze shock still has use for spreading paralysis against defensive teams. metagross is self-explanatory. i use it because i need a secondary way to pressure bulkier teams. the greninja set is a bit of an oddity, but it lets me beat toxapex, venusaur, and ferrothorn all in one set which is lit. scarf jirachi is for healing wish really and checking tapu lele since metagross does not want to be the primary switch in to latis for example. landorus-t is to knock off celesteela's leftovers making it less of a nuisance and set up rocks. it checks the things you expect it to check and the slow 28ivs u-turn lets me get momentum most of time. scarf kartana is the cleaner and icium z kyurem-b lures in all of kartana's cockblocks. seriously, scarf kartana is good.

Pretty bad team I've got right here. It's fairly slow (at least I think so because nothing actually outruns important threats like Pheromosa). It's built with more of an ORAS-type of mentality, because I've played under ninety games, (thank you, midterms) and lack any sort of experience in S/M, which is why it might look really formulaic. Thoughts/opinions greatly appreciated.

I wanted to post here a bit earlier, but I figured I'd wait till I made some quality stuff I could share. Here are some teams I usually use in tours/ladder that have had great success and I won't be using much anymore so here goes:

I wanted to build around Pheromosa + Lele seeing as Phero's checks/Counters all get abused by Lele (Toxapex, Venu ect.) Lando is my defensive backbone rock setter while having AV tang as a water resist and a Tapu Koko check. Heatran was a bit annoying so I added Latios with Surf as hazard removal. Now in the last slot I had Metagross>Scizor but I didn't want to get as pressured by weavile (which isn't really prominent ATM but I still think should be accounted for) as much. Scizor also provides U turn Momentum for Lele. Last but not least we have ebelt Pheromosa as a late game cleaner. What you usually do is bluff a choice item until you break down your opponents team down enough and clean up late game. Examples shown below -
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7pokebankou-224250 - Pheromosa would have won without miss but you get the idea

This team features Freeze Shock Kyurem with ts appropriate Z crystal which hits very hard in general and is a cool set. I wanted to use Lele again for no specific reason tbh other then me loving lele. Keld pairs great with lele since it deals with most of its switch ins or just outright punishes it, while Keld deals with annoying darks and steels. Metagross always pairs well with Keldeo and I needed a steel so I slapped on that, while adding Latios as a secondary water resist/Keld Switch in.

The idea behind this team came when ABR suggested I build around Taunt CM Tapu Fini. I decided to go a hazard stack route, to wear down stuff for it as well as hoopa. Scarf Lando+ Torn provide a nice u turn core for Hoopa U as well and when Hazards are up its extremely hard to counter play. I usually spam this team in the current OU Circuits which is how I get my points

Here it is offensive team with Z-Conversion Porygon-Z. Landorus-Therian as rock setter to pivot on physical threats. Metagross-Mega and Magearna to switch in Psychic/Fairy type and retaliate with a strong move. Metagross can pressure offensive teams while Specs Magearna threatens more defensive teams, in addition it provide a good Volturn core with Landorus. Hammer Arm on Metagross to wreck Heatran and Ferrothorn which seem annoying to the rest of the team. Zygarde-10% and Scarfed Tapu Lele to get more speed control. They have good synergy Zygarde can weaken Steel type to allow Lele to spam Psychic/Moonblast. HP Fire on Tapu Lele to lure Scizor or Ferrothorn.

Wanted to build around Psy spam features Tapu Lele and Alakazam-Mega. Psychic + Psyshock combo on Lele to deal more damages on specially defensively oriented Pokemon like Mantine or Assault Vest users like Azumarill and Tornadus-Therian. Scizor-Mega looks a bit annoying so I added a Celesteela as my set-up sweeper. Landorus-Therian and Rotom-Wash to provide Volturn momentum for Lele and Kazam. And scarf Ttar was added in last slot to remove Latios and Hoopa which seem annoying.

This team uses Rockium Z Terrakion as Stealth Rocker. I wanted to use Scarf Garchomp 'cause it's pretty effective in the current metagame and Terrakion can lure and eliminate Garchomp's check with continental crush (it has 37.5% chance to OHKO defensive Landorus after a single SD and guaranteed after Stealth Rock damage). Rotom-W is here because it provides an immense amount of utility, checks tons of threats and I needed a ground immunity. Then I added Metagross as a fairy Check and because it's metagross kek. Mimikyu is here because Disguise is OP and allows me to Revenge Kill many threats who would have sweeped me otherwise. Last but not least I use Life Orb Genesect for break bulkyer team, it can also lure scarf one time.
With this team you have to play very aggro against most offensive team due to how the SuMo metagame is tough but this team has a way to win against most match up I guess.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankou-498812546 Against Welliou for a french team tour, was a nice game against a DragMag Offense with genesect. Showcases how Mimikyu can be good against offense and how Rotom-W can be a pain to deal with.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankou-498874539 How genesect can lure SubCoil Zygarde and another Mimikyu show!
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankou-499438147 Against Hard Stall, Terrakion and Rotom-W were the keys which led me to victory.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankou-499516877 Against a Pinsir offense with Tapu Fini, Sub Zygarde and Celesteela. It ended by a Garchomp sweep after Metagross killed both celesteela and Tapu Fini.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankou-499489459 Against PDC, fat balance don't like LO Genesect + Metagross + Terrakion too much I guess.

1) why is genesect hasty ?
2) tapu koko (and electryc in general) are pretty hard to deal with as your only way to eliminate them is kill with your scarf.
3) you haven't SR a.k.a the best move in the game by far.

Changes i suggest:
SR Marowak-alola >> Magnezone
Amoonguss >> Toxapex
Jolly Genesect

(note: i didn't test the team, so there is a chance i make a mistake so test it by yourself and watch if it work)**

good luck with your team^^

Thanks for the fast reply. Didn't consider using marowak yet, I'll try that. Toxapex is used to counter fires and pheromosa (without him I do not have a fire resist and get 1 more fire-weak pkmn in amoonguss).

huh didn't know sorry

you can use ferrothorn + filler (something like tapu fini should be fine) for alleviates the latios/metagross weakness too.
Ok thanks

Edit: I tryed sth else now. Put in lead chomp with firium Z (and fire fang instead of sd) and av tangrowth. I think the only thing this team feares now is metagross-m but even that thing can be handled by mandibuzz.
So basically a regenerator ferro-similar mon and a sr ground mon for the electrics(not including tapu koko). Regenerator seems pretty good bcause of synergy with toxapex.
Thanks for the help and finding out my weaknesses m8.

2nd Edit: don't have any pinsir checks now. I'll stick with your idea of using marowak-A. Instead of garchomp.

I wanted to make use of Decidueye and Mimikyu, my favorite Pokemon from this generation. The two form a SD Ghost Spam core that breaks down opposing walls, taking advantage of the fact that most teams lack Ghost resists. The sharks (Mega Sharpedo or Scarf Garchomp) clean up the weakened walls. Magnezone traps annoying Steels that get in the way of my offensive core. Mimikyu's Disguise and Scarf Garchomp are the team's main ways of revenge killing threats. The pre-Pokebank version uses Lycanroc over Landorus-T as the Stealth Rocker - the teams are the same otherwise.

Decidueye has many roles on this team as a trapper, pivot/Baton Passer and wall-breaker. Though I didn't heavily invest in its bulk, it still has decent natural bulk and resistances to take a hit and Baton Pass to one of its teammates. Sharpedo and Garchomp are quite scary if they receive a SD boost from Decidueye. It can also break walls on its own. +2 Sinister Arrow Raid is ridiculously strong, capable of OHKOing physically defensive Toxapex, Landorus-T, Skarmory, and Celesteela after Stealth Rock.

Hey I like the idea of the team, just one thing tho..
What are your chances of winning against Mold Breaker scarf Excadrill? lol That thing literally rips apart your team, therefore I'd suggest you to use a better ground immunity!

You could try Lando with Rockium Z > Terrakion

This is a team that I used to ladder these past days. Nihilego is my Stealth Rock setter and usual lead. I chose it over Mamoswine or Lycanroc because the majority of the teams I saw on the ladder struggle to switch into it´s dual STAB + Electric coverage. The EVs spread allows it to get a boost in speed upon knocking out an opponent through Beast Boost, and make it harder to revenge kill. Next I chose an offensive core of 3 Pokémon that actually ended up working pretty well, and that I wanted to try out: Mega Sharpedo, Tapu Bulu and Alolan Marowak. I chose Sharpedo in the 1st place because of the same reason as Nihilego, most teams struggle switching on it, and it can be a really good late game cleaner/sweeper. I added Tapu Bulu because I wanted a wallbreaker that could spam a really powerful STAB move, and also I though that the rest of the team would appreciate passive recovery via Grassy Terrain. At last Alolan Marowak was added because of how good it is in the meta right now, as it gave me an Electric check, a Pheromosa check, and another wallbreaker to support Sharpedo, that actually has some really nice defensive synergy with him and Tapu Bulu. Scarf Pheromosa was my 5th choice, because I felt that the team was a little bitt slow and could struggle with faster threaths (such as Tapu Koko, Scarf Tapu Lele, Scarf Garchomp, Kingdra, etc). It also gave me U-turn support, and another great late game cleaner, plus hazard control with Rapid Spin, which can come in clutch in the right situations, and it´s also a very solid revenge killer. Last member is Toxapex. As I´m not the best player when it comes to Hyper Offense, I wanted to have at least 1 defensive pivot that could check as much threaths as possible, but that could also punish my opponent in some way, and in Toxapex´s case, such way is residual damage through Rocky Helmet, Scald and Toxic Spikes, plus Haze support to stop opposing setup sweepers. Massive threats to the team include the likes of Mamoswine, Magearna, Primarina, Gengar, Mimikyu and Mega Pinsir.

scarfdrill is one if not the biggest threat of this team. but i honesty prefer terrak due to the speed tier, a bisharp answer and i really need fighting coverage because otherwise ferrothorn will just shits on me.
Also it's easier to keep SR on with terrak.
also if you pressure really hard the opponent, you can win against drill (but it will be a pretty hard match up i agree)

but lando is still pretty good in this team, so feel free to run it :)

This is a Double Dance Lando team I've been spamming lately to some decent success. I peaked top 25 I believe. Anyways it's basically just DD Lando with Scarf Lele and Specs Battle Bond Greninja paired with a defensive backbone. AV Magearna to deal with opposing Lele and some other special attackers such as Latios and Mega Alakazam. SpD Seismatoad gives me rocks and helps me deal with things Tapu Koko without Grass Knot and Marowak. Helmet Toxapek helps chip Genesect and Pheramosa, can stall out Charizard-Y's sun and has Haze to prevent it from being setup fodder. Obviously not a perfect team by any means, it struggles a lot with Offensive Lando variants, Sand Rush Excadrill, Horn Leech Tapu Bulu, and well played Celesteela. Without that said, it's pretty fun to use and Double Dance Lando is insanely good with addition of Rockium Z (I had stupidly been using Earth Plate until about an hour ago). Feel free to send me some suggestions.

I really like this team. Continental Crush Lando is fairly unexpected, and lets you break through some pretty fat stuff. I played around with this team on low ladder and had some success. Other than a mild weakness to certain Tapu Koko sets, this team doesn't really have any gigantic flaws, I wish it had some form of hazard removal but I don't really see any way of incorporating it without dramatically changing your team. The only one I might suggest trying is Specially Defensive Excadrill in place of your Seismitoad. You're trading different sets of weaknesses and resistances but I find that Excadrill can usually do more work than Seismitoad simply because of the better typing and offense. I prefer a set of Rocks/Spin/Toxic/Eq but feel free to drop toxic.

Trick Room is cancer, I admit it, but it works quite well especially in the current meta where offence is played a lot. I started from Mimikyu because the idea of being able to 100% set Trick Room was really tempting. Then I added Drampa because of the amazing coverage it has and the high satk stat that allows it to do extremely high damages to anything that is not a special wall like Chansey. Marowak-Alola was the next addition to the team, simply because is one of the best trick room abusers with solid coverage and an incredibly high atk stat. At this point I needed a srocks setter, so I chose Kecleon that also has access to Trick Room. Noticed that I still needed some sorta ground immunity so I added Landorus-T. Final addition to the team was Magearna because I needed a steel type to deal with fairy types and dragon types.

Solid TR team. I've run a fairly similar build using pretty much the same mons, albeit some slightly different sets and had some good results as well. Depending on how much you actually use Roost on Drampa you can choose to swap it out for Surf to cover opposing Marowak better or Hyper Voice if you don't want to lose momentum under Trick Room while still having a solid stab attack to throw around.

Crawdaunt is also an option over Drampa that can help out more against Chansey while still keeping an extra mon to cover Marowak but it does open up a little bit more of a Scizor weakness.

I didn't feel like using life orb/lum berry on that Mimikyu because I don't think I need the extra power from lorb or the chance of healing a burn/para/toxic. Besides I think the z move is pretty cool to deal higher damages to specific threats when needed even tho I end up using Lando's Z move more often

Thoughts on this team? I'm still kinda new to this and after playing around with it for a while I like it a lot. It's a bulky balanced offensive team that combines a F/W/G core and a D/F/S core. It has checks to most of the threats in the meta and each member covers for each other's weaknesses pretty well.
