HOW TO BUILD STALL
(if this already exists so be it)
Ever wanted to troll people on ladder? Or just want to annoy your friends? The Stall archetype has been playing these roles for years. Today, I will explain how to build viable Pure Hackmons stall teams. But first, we must discuss the fundamentals of PH stall teams, such as:
  1. Your stall team must be good against the Big 5 Offensive Threats of Pure Hackmons. (:mewtwo-mega-x:-:mewtwo-mega-y:-:kartana:-:gengar-mega:-:groudon-primal:) These include MMX, MMY, Kart, MGar, and PDon. If your team doesn't match up well into these mons, you need to change it.
  2. Your stall team must have at least 2 Wonder Guards. This will counter Little Timmy's No Guard Deoxys-Speed set.
  3. Your stall team must have a way to nerf opponents. This allows for a better range of mons you can defeat, whether by status or straight-up stat drops.
Now that we have clarified those, let's build our team!
Our first mon should be able to defeat Unwallable Kartana. This Kartana, concocted in PHPL, is notorious for being unwallable. Only 4x resists (that are bulky) can survive the wrath of +2 Huge Power SSS. This mon should have two types on the list of Water/Fire/Electric/Steel and a good Defense stat. I would suggest Heatran and Magneton as the best mons for this role.
:heatran:-----
:magneton:-----
Our next mon should have Prankster+Haze, a reliable combo that allows stall teams to stop sweepers while still keeping their mon. I like Steela because it's immune to Fissure, but Mega Steelix/ Aggron are also nice to have. However, to not double up on Steels, I would suggest using Ho-Oh or MBro instead.
:heatran:-:celesteela:----
:magneton:-:ho-oh:----
The next two mons should cover >90% of MMX's most popular sets. One of them should also be a Wonder Guard for role compression. IMO the best MMX-walling Wonder Guard is MBro, and there is zero competition. BYRD is also really good at walling MMX, as its Fur Coat King's Shield Beak Blast sets can make quick work of that dastardly cat. (Fun fact: I have an MMX plush in my bedroom.) If you don't want to go that route, you could go with something like Doublade, who is renowned for being the best MMX wall (but has been put on fraudwatch recently).
:heatran:-:celesteela:-:slowbro-mega:-:yveltal:--
:magneton:-:ho-oh:-:slowbro-mega:-:doublade:--
Our second Wonder Guard, this mon should cover special attackers, namely MMY and MGar. Honestly, though, the only good contenders for this are Melo and AMuk, which have great Sp. Def and either resist or are immune to special Moldy Moves.
:heatran:-:celesteela:-:slowbro-mega:-:yveltal:-:muk-alola:-
:magneton:-:ho-oh:-:slowbro-mega:-:doublade:-:meloetta:-

Finally, our last mon could be pretty much anything. A Magic Bounce could be nice if you don't already have one, but I like Harvest Slaking as it utilizes things like Toxic and TSpike to be exceptionally infuriating to deal with. If you go the Magic Bounce route, I would suggest Steela, Zygod, BYRD, and Kyu-W as they each have their own merit. The final teams should look like this:
:heatran:-:celesteela:-:slowbro-mega:-:yveltal:-:muk-alola:-:slaking:
:magneton:-:ho-oh:-:slowbro-mega:-:doublade:-:meloetta:-:yveltal:
I actually got a good win rate at high ladder with the first team, so you can check out Stallmons Tower here!

HOW TO DO OFFENSIVE WALL BREAKING
progress: 90%/100%
Ever been trolled on ladder? Or just want to stop being annoyed by your friends? The Stall archetype has been playing these roles for years. Today, I will explain how to beat viable Pure Hackmons stall teams. But first, we must discuss the fundamentals of Beating PH stall teams, such as:
  1. You will need to generally need a mon without a hard check to win. because else they can literally stall you out. Soft checks could be fine as long as you have ways to chip them down.
  2. The stall team usually have at least 2 Wonder Guards. Even a single no guard deo-s can break though their team if the wonder guards are gone.
  3. Prevent being nerfed by the stall team. They will try to bother you with status, rock, or simply direct damage to chip you down.
Now that we have clarified those, let's start looking at our ways to break them!
1 Wall breaking via one move
1.1 Taunt
Taunt is a important way to break though the walls. Through Taunt you can prevent the opposing mon from doing a lot of things, including healing, spamming haze, using the two screens, hazards setting and removing, and also their taunt. The only thing it is afraid of is the magic bounce users and the magic coats.

1.2 Shell Smash
Being able to immediately gain a +2 in both Atk, Spe and even SpA is the main reason why this meta is pretty offensive. In one move you are able to be a huge threat to your opponent. The main flaw is that it can be haze / Spectral Thieved.

1.3 CFZs
Imagine having access for every mon to an 200 base power move that ignores ability, or a 185 base power move that enables you to have all stats rise by 1? CFZs are definitely a scary way to break through the walls. The only problem is that you have only 1 pp each CFZ, so you have to make sure you use it on the right mon.

2 Wall breaking via a set
2.1 Mold Breaker + high base power moves
Mold Breaker had always been a effective tool against wonder guards. In USM Pure hackmons, we have access to the 3 ability ignoring moves, making mold breaker relatively less common, but this is exactly why they have become better at wall breaking here. One example is mold breaker v-create groudon-primal. When 180 base attack stats meets a 180 base power STAB move it can hit like a truck, while you can also have it banded, to make the power up to a sky high level, or you can have a Shell smash paired with z crystal or life orb or some defensive items, making it a unstoppable sweeper that can take advantage of defensive mons, but watchout for the impostor because its also hard for you to wall it.

2.2 Huge Power + CFZs
As we have mentioned, CFZs are big and strong offensive tools, and on top of that, we have huge power which boost your atk by 2 times directly, and 2 physical z moves with 200 base power and ignores ability. This is usually the more common way to break through stall teams and I don't really need to explain this, but just keep in mind that you have one pp for your z move, so make sure you click it in the right place on the right mon.

2.3 Harvest/recycle + leppa bery
Here we comes with this awful but useful set. Usually stall teams will have prank haze for the setup sweepers and tank the moldy moves and win by using up their pps. But this turn the side of the table as you naturally have infinite pps. there arent really some good defensive mons that have a positive match up against it. And core enforcer which is the hardest check to it can do nothing more than forcing it out.

2.4 Wonder Guard + Smash + Taunt
What will happen when you add the two wall breaking move both on one mon? You get the ultimate stall team destoryer. This is pretty self explanatory, some popular examples are arceus and kartana with the latter more focusing on anti ho in the same time.

3 Wall breaking via a core
3.1 spore + trap (+ trick / knock)
This one is my favorite. The idea is every mon have only 1 item slot, so they either have googles to prevent from being spored or shed shell to prevent from being trapped. The only thing we have to worry about here is the grass type shed shells and the ghost type goggles. But fortunately the strong defensive grass type mons are very rare, in most cases they refers to ferrothron and kartana only, which is easy to target on. On the other hand, the ghost types are a lot more common, but the fact that ghost type itself is weak to moongeist , pursuit, and knock off, its hard to miss them. Biggest concern here should be googles mega sableye. Trick and knock off can make long term progress and is especially helpful against balance and stall teams. Usually the core made up of some powerful spore spammer which can be a huge threat when opposing mon are sleeping and an efficient trapper that can punish those without shed shell hard enough. There aren't specific requirement on which mon or which set to use, but some examples are spore huge power shell smash kartana + arena trap mega gyarados

3.2 hazard stack
This shouldn't be new to us. Being one of the most important archetype though out the history of singles pokemon, hazards stack has proven its strength and viability. Most destructive two should be toxic spikes+stealth rock so that you can stall out the non flying types and let the rock punish the birbs. Strong hazard setters includes No guard users (e.g. mgar, deos) for their offensive threat on mbounce users and mold breaker users for their unbounceable taunt and hazards.

Im tired Ill add the rest later

hi it's adrian, you know me. posts are bad recently so i'm here to deliver quality by talking about underrated mons currently

NUMBER 1: MDOOM

:sm/houndoom-mega::sm/houndoom-mega::sm/houndoom-mega::sm/houndoom-mega::sm/houndoom-mega:

mdoom is actually so him. very solid dark. if you love darkspam (superior offensive style) he's a good pick. he has many perfect qualities such as:
  • 115 speed high enough to outspeed neutral 130s with timid, though he has to run modest a lot
  • 140 spa high enough to support smash and cfz
  • dark/fire is incredible despite rocks and fissure weak, resisting all molds is broken
some mdooms i have been running

:houndoom-mega:
billions must doom (Houndoom-Mega) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Blue Flare
- Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom
- Toxic Spikes
- Trick

despite the random look, this set is incredible. scarf mdoom can do so many things for you. flare makes him a good cleaner bc most of the prio misses him and modest flare is just powerful in general. mmm ohkoes mgar and has a 75% to ohko mmx which makes it a really good revenge burst and it also serves as a lure for mmx. cc mmx won't think twice about staying in, especially if they know mmm will only ohko with modest and ada mmx outspeeds modest mdoom. tspikes are broken in general and idk why people don't use them more. i've found this mdoom to be one of the best tspikes setters in the game. as mentioned earlier, mmm will ohko mgar and blue flare will also do a large chunk, about 65-70. mbee will die to blue flare and they will also potentially be lured in if they have a super effective move. alomuk gets lured and scarf tricked, making him easily exploitable later by stag. so in the end mdoom can beat all the poisons without a lot of trouble. the steels obviously don't want to catch flare either, so mdoom beats those too. besides the odd head smash mdia, the majority of mg mons will lose to mdoom as well; aside from the odd head smash mdia, many mg mons prefer psychic + fairy coverage as they have a strong coverage in lor to abuse, or in the case of kart it likes to run stabs to abuse wood hammer. mgs also tend to run ghost (spectral) and dark (pursuit). so basically, they can't hit mdoom at all. ultimately it beats most of the tspikes answers single-handedly and it can beat the ones it can't cover with stag support. trick serves to cripple the mdoom answers it can't touch, like aforementioned alomuk but also coat normals. then you can stag them without much trouble. mdoom benefits from both shed shell (escapes common fight/water/ground coverage on stag) and goggles (improves mu vs spore psychics), making trick a win-win. i've honestly never had a game where this mon disappointed me

:houndoom-mega:
i'm... DOOMING!!! (Houndoom-Mega) @ Fist Plate / Earth Plate / Stone Plate / Splash Plate
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Shell Smash
- Judgment

i don't love wg plate and memory smashers in this gen. the second that wg is revealed you basically know their whole set. they completely lack set variety and are always at least slightly mu fish because of it. so why am i talking about wg smash mdoom and why did i give him 2 moves? mdoom is about the only wg smasher that can actually just run whatever it wants. compared to mons like kart and pogre, who both have 2 plate/memory types that overlap heavily, mdoom has 4 very different plates to run which can completely change its answers. for example, wg arc might wall earth plate but lose to fist plate, and pdon might tank a hit from fist plate but get smacked by earth and splash plate. because mdoom's plate cannot be scouted by impostor, you have no way to tell what its plate actually is until it hits you. the other thing that really sets mdoom apart from other smash sweepers is his triple mold resistance, which means you can run any mold and it will still beat imp. even sunsteel is good here, despite the weak power, because wgs are only really going to hit you with water, and you can tech for them all besides maybe pogre. this opens up a ridiculous amount of coverage combinations including double mold, photon + fairy, and geist + fight judge. again, impostor cannot safely scout this mon. it's also immune to all prio besides the rare mach punch, and it gets lots of setup opportunities due to its triple mold immunity, letting it live moves like huge power sunsteel from kart, huge power sss from mmx, and +2 mmm from mmy

NUMBER TWO: HP MLOP

:sm/lopunny-mega::sm/lopunny-mega::sm/lopunny-mega::sm/lopunny-mega::sm/lopunny-mega:
lots of people in the discord have seen me trash on ng mlop and sing the praises of hp mlop as the superior set. i know that usually when people do this it's larp, but i'm being serious; hp mlop is genuinely 10 times better than ng mlop. i've gone into this mon a lot on discord but i also did that with mdoom. having a structured post just makes things better

:lopunny-mega:
mega lopbunny (Lopunny-Mega) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Searing Sunraze Smash / Sunsteel Strike
- Bolt Strike / Spectral Thief

hp mlop is really really good vs offense and balance alike. this mon has two upsides. the first is powerful stab prio which is rare to come by. the second, and more important, reason is that it lures in wgs, especially in lead. the most common counter to ng is coat wg, which are often normals/darks like maud, melo, and alomuk. mlop can lure and eliminate these mons early in the game, which can seriously change the tide in your favor. life orb seems odd considering lo mmx gets correctly dragged a lot, but mlop needs it to get kills and you're not preserving your hp on this mon anyway. with espeed, mlop's speed tier is far less easily challenged by fast mons like mmy and deo-a. having such strong prio means it never does nothing in a game, and the only prio that will beat it out is smash espeed and -ate fake out. with the lo boost, mlop's cc is only slightly weaker than ada hp mmx's cc. for reference it can 2hko bold zyg-c unboosted, no hazards. cc into espeed is a really good way to beat pranksters because you can hit them again before they recover / sap / reflect / wisp. sunsteel and sss are just generic moldy moves. it's worth noting that you're only really gonna have one sunsteel target a game, because most teams will have a sunsteel resist wg. this makes it a really nice user of sss. last move is either bolt to hit steela mbro whatever, or sthief because it outspeeds and ohkoes mmx and mgar

NUMBER THREE: MG MRAY

:sm/rayquaza-mega::sm/rayquaza-mega::sm/rayquaza-mega::sm/rayquaza-mega::sm/rayquaza-mega:

i have been singing mray praises in general recently but especially for the mg set i'm about to post

:rayquaza-mega:

the back burner (Rayquaza-Mega) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Shell Smash
- Moongeist Beam
- Sunsteel Strike
- Clangorous Soulblaze

i think mray's insane in general. like this is a pokemon that has 180/180 mixed offense and you have no idea what it'll run. this set kinda uses expected coverage but the answers don't answer this all the same. toxorb is really nice here to dodge sleep from mons who can't kill you at +0 like wg kart or fissure. it also avoids paralyze from zap and burn from sfire. it's really hard to stop this mon without prio because it ignores innards/rocks chip completely. smash double mold is really not something that needs to be explained, but soulblaze makes mray unique. if used right you can kill opposing prankster while getting an omniboost and you can also use it to remove def drops from smash. this makes it even harder to revenge. you can also just use it off the jump to revenge kill something and start a sweep. it's easy to proof this with the usual suspects like mgyara and pogre too

thanks for reading :altaria-mega:

Submitting one of my realest teams as a sample since apparently people are still complaining about the samples being bad.

OFFENSE-OFFENSEKILLERv2

Honestly idk why I named it like that but it's pretty cool it won in PHPL and I was also laddering with it pretty well went like 18-0 or something before I got bored.
It's sort of like a balance if you don't look at it too hard because there's 2 wonder guards and neither are weak to an ohko move (big ask for me). The MMX is probably a larper but vacuum wave to RK impostered kart is funny as fuck change it to high jump kick mind blown or cc if you are a hater.
The Muk is notably not a larper this guy will singlehandedly win a bunch of interactions because lovely kiss is fair and balanced.

Edit: Also PLEASE change the safety goggles on the darm on Clockup Flowers to an Air Balloon oh my god.

"But what if I just argued with your takes here, and here alone? Then what? Well, let's find out, shall we?

First off, Yveltal. What on gods green earth is Yveltal doing being higher then more or less everything in A+ rank? For whatever reason, people are acting like MMX is not as good as it is because every team is forced to counter it. Not many teams need to run a counter for fucking Yveltal. As well, MGar is just way more splashable then Yveltal, Regigigas is just better overall for reasons I will not explain, and Arceus is way more splashable then Yveltal is. HP Yveltal seems like a bootleg MMX that can't just maul things but it can press Pursuit or something so it is somehow better, Magic Guard is a Innards fish with very little usage outside of that because Yveltal without HP is hitting like a limp noodle, and Magic Bounce can be put on anything bulky and still work. Yveltal is not the golden child. Yveltal is not a MMX sidegrade.

Mold Breaker Muk-A..........ok

Heatran and Diancie somehow getting above MAud is...a choice. A very stupid choice, but a choice.

Deo-S being above MAud is....just bad.

Slowbro being in the same tier as Ala is one of the bad choices of all time.

Mega Aggron, despite being a minimum sidegrade and a lot of the time upgrade to Mega Steelix with a better typing, very similar stats, and Anchor Shot existing to make ground stab not matter as much is somehow not even ranked. I assume you forgot. I hope you forgot.

Also who the hell is running Huge Power and Harvest on Diancie? Why?

Also Zygarde not having Magic Bounce as a ability, when you put such abilities as Harvest Melo and Poison Heal POgre on the board.

These sure were some insane takes, that's for sure.

Also who the hell is running Huge Power and Harvest on Diancie? Why?
adriancosmoem iirc, harvest diancie with evoboost sunraze maelstrom and let's snuggle forever is a really scary sweeper if it sets up

similar to that one ng gar, force hazards up with your ohko move/magma storm/taunt, sheer cold can be swapped out for fissure and magma storm can be some other shit if you want to hit kyurems harder, this guy seems kinda annoying to improof tho because they can taunt as you go to your mcoat guy though you can mu fish no imposter it seems like a manageable weakness

i think ng mmy has a good amount of potential just in general, offensive sets seem decent enough but utility sets are pretty unexplored imo, i can see a lot more sets that could work besides this one

why did i put this guy below mlop on my ng vr WHAT WAS I DOING

adriancosmoem iirc, harvest diancie with evoboost sunraze maelstrom and let's snuggle forever is a really scary sweeper if it sets up

not responding to the whole post because i'm lazy have a set i've like never used instead because i don't wanna make this a one liner

taunt storm ngs are underrated imo, they can force some serious progress on unprepared teams and seem quite good into ho teams without prank spore

two versions of mmx spam. the main point between the alterations was so other mmxes were immune to priority (fakespeed slak, ice shard kart, etc). if you want to use this, i suggest you use the second version (the one with psysurge).

:mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :gyarados-mega:
mmy spam. another funni psyspam team. smash sweepers are bonkers on psyspam and stuff.

:Groudon-Primal: :Groudon-Primal: :Groudon-Primal: :gyarados-mega: :blissey: :Slowbro-Mega:
triple pdon. mandatory two wonder guards because no guard and they also improof everything except mold pdon, which is improofed by innards.

:kartana: :kartana: :kartana: :kartana: :heatran: :yveltal:
kart spam. the only good team out of all of these in my opinion. heatran improofs all sets except no guard, which we have wg kart for. ygod tanks moongeist and other special coverage (besides moonblast or lor) because the rest of the team gets evaporated by it.

FAILED SNIVY TEAM DUMP
All of the teams here have lost me rating points. If you're a high ladder player, I would advise you not to use these teams. But maybe I'm just piloting them wrong, idk.

:deoxys-speed: :zygarde-complete: :chansey: :kartana: :mewtwo-mega-x: :yveltal:
My first attempt at a Shadow Tag- based team. This team didn't have much synergy and not enough support to make STag work in the long run.

:gyarados-mega: :kartana: :necrozma-dawn-wings: :celesteela: :meloetta: :blissey:

This team, unlike some others, is actually quite fun to use. The point of this team is to get Gyarados online, as Prankster Assist (Power Trip) can rip through unprepared teams. However, Gyarados's teammates only being allowed to use a few sub-par moves and CFZs makes the team heavily reliant on Gyarados's damage.

:ferroseed: :ferroseed: :ferroseed: :deoxys-attack: :beedrill-mega: :gengar-mega:
After I read Mayo's fanfic about stall, I was dying to try Level 1 Ferroseed on ladder. However, it didn't go so well. Ferroseed is just too easily exploitable, whether by priority moves or Grass types.

:mewtwo-mega-x: :mewtwo-mega-x: :mewtwo-mega-x: :slowbro-mega: :blissey: :blissey:
I'm not actually sure what went wrong with this team, but it lost me quite a few points. If anyone has a clue as to why it's so bad, please tell me your thoughts.

:mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :raticate-alola:
:mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :mewtwo-mega-y: :kartana:
Two versions of MMY spam. They're both worse than MMX spam, but I would recommend using the second version, as Kartana can cover more checks (and allow more MMY sets) than Raticate. Also, two of the MMYs have bug coverage, a huge whoopsie on my part.

Surely posting most of my modern gen7ph teambuilder here will have no repercussions. Teams are in no particular order.

The teams

No Guard Lucario-Mega
:lucario-mega: :swampert-mega: :arceus: :mewtwo-mega-x: :blissey: :mewtwo-mega-y:
I cooked this wacky No Guard Lucario-Mega set and wanted to use it on a team. "Improofed" it with Swampert-Mega, then improofed a Mewtwo-Mega-X set with that same Swampert-Mega. Threw on an Arceus to have a selfproofing Wonder Guard, then added an Innards Out Blissey set that is supposed to be able to escape Pursuit (whoever is the first to correctly guess how it does this gets a cookie, although if you make a one-liner I'm eating the cookie myself). Wanted a lead for the last mon, so I chose Innards Out Mewtwo-Mega-Y.

Wack Offense featuring Harvest Meloetta
:groudon-primal: :houndoom-mega: :meloetta: :mewtwo-mega-y: :swampert-mega: :yveltal:
Wanted to run Harvest Meloetta after using it in Custom Game. Mainly stole a bunch of sets that adrian cosmoem made that I wanted to run. I used it once on ladder and ragequit after losing badly in game one.

Deoxys-Speed Lead ig
:mewtwo-mega-x: :deoxys-speed: :groudon-primal: :kyurem-white: :ho-oh: :blissey:
Made this team while in a call with one of my friends. I was trying to show her how to teambuild for gen7ph, but I feel like I did a godawful job of it. At least I have this funny team now. Did win me a game versus MMX spam too!

Dual Green Noodle
:rayquaza-mega: :diancie-mega: :swampert-mega: :kyurem-white: :rayquaza-mega: :blissey:
Wanted to make a team with Mold Breaker Rayquaza-Mega. Ended up with two of the green noodles. I genuinely do not remember how the Shadow Tag Rayquaza-Mega is improofed. Went around 0-3 on ladder and made me ragequit again :3.

Insane team (old version, I redid this)
:pheromosa: :thundurus-therian: :gengar-mega: :groudon-primal: :ho-oh: :kyurem-white:
Original version of the team right below this one. I realized I was being a little too silly by running Thundurus-Therian. Wanted to run Mold Breaker Kyurem-White with Clangorous Soulblaze / Freeze Dry / Coverage / Shell Smash, but Imposter will murder Ho-Oh.

Okay this looks more "normal"
:pheromosa: :groudon-primal: :ho-oh: :kyurem-white: :blissey: :gyarados-mega:
Somewhat happy with how this one turned out. Groudon-Primal did lose the Sticky Web support, however. This team also lost to a Shell Smash sweeper Scizor-Mega because I forgot Pheromosa was Huge Power and I threw away Groudon-Primal to Innards Out AND Kyurem-White had taken Stealth Rock chip (so Innards Out recoil didn't KO Scizor-Mega). If that doesn't show that I have a skill issue, I don't know what does.

Why did this ever work
:slaking: :muk-alola: :groudon-primal: :arceus: :yveltal: :zeraora:
"wtf is this"- NToTheN
Why is THIS my most successful team ever since I started playing gen7ph again? I hit the 1600s and top 10 (pretty sure top 5, but not positive) on ladder with this insane team, and I didn't even have an improof for Slaking (was originally Incineroar but I didn't like the dual Fighting weaknesses on my Wonder Guards).

Final thoughts + ending

I think I might like Kyurem-White. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Pokepaste for the teambuilder if you want to import it all into Showdown for some reason: https://pokepast.es/66d200aefc12841c

It’s either Baton Pass to take 40 BP Pursuit but this is is kinda bad or it is Z Spiky Shield which raises your defense. Works only once tho.
And here's the 2nd line, now gime my cookie :D

USUM PH Unofficial Setpedia

Hai again. The official setpedia was last updated in 2023, so I figured I would just make my own at this point. If you want me to add any sets, feel free to suggest them. However, if I'm going to take the time to add your set, you should at the very least take the time to explain your set and why it should be added. Also, if you are a dick about it and berate me because I forgot <insert set here>, I'm going to ignore your post.

Mons in this setpedia are in Alphabetical Order, not based on their placement on the Viability Rankings. If something has multiple sets, they will be organized in alphabetical order based on the Ability name, and if there are multiple that share that, the name of the first move will decide the order. I do not guarantee the quality of any of these sets- most of these are untested and were built based on mainly just vibes.

I wanted to suggest some of my own sets.

:Scizor-Mega:
Scizor-Mega @ Fire Memory
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Shell Smash
- Multi-Attack
- Ice Hammer

- Pretty standard selfproof set, I have seen it a lot and I it can do pretty well in battles but overall is a bit mid due to lack of power

:Sableye-Mega:
Sableye-Mega @ Flame Orb
Ability: Wonder Guard
Level: 1
Hardy Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Atk / 1 Spe
- Psycho Shift
- Substitute
- Pain Split
- Curse

- Very good progress maker and overall annoyance against stuff like passive WG mons or offensive mons that cannot hit it, struggles to HO though.

:Rayquaza-Mega:
Rayquaza-Mega @ Focus Sash
Ability: Triage
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Oblivion Wing
- Tail Glow
- Moongeist Beam
- Giga Drain

- Does really well against HO, it can even sweep entire teams with rocks support, struggles to stuff it can't hit for big damage. Mgeist can be switched to Photon to hit stuff like Maudino better and Giga can be swapped with Secret Sword for Chansey.

:Mewtwo-Mega-Y:
Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Focus Sash
Ability: Parental Bond
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moongeist Beam
- Shell Smash
- Freeze-Dry
- Photon Geyser

- Good sweeper that does not need rocks to deal with sash and is not afraid of Zyg, Moonblast can be an alternative for Freeze Dry if you would rather lose to Zyg to deal with Gyara and Gren better.

:Mewtwo-Mega-Y:
Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Focus Sash
Ability: Dazzling
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Shell Smash
- Light That Burns the Sky
- Photon Geyser
- Moongeist Beam

- Another sweeper MMY set but this one can break walls as well while being immune to priority, which can be a good surprise tool against a lot of HO teams.

:Lugia:
Lugia @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 HP / 0 Atk
- Heal Order
- Reflect
- Baton Pass
- Haze

- Just wanted to say I prefer Reflect over Willo for the consistency and not being ruined by Psy Terrain

:Lugia:
Lugia @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Perish Song
- King's Shield
- Encore
- Shore Up

- Lugia is mostly known for its stag sets, so I think it would be right to add it to the setpedia as well. Works well against passive WGs that don't have a shed shell and some offensive mons that can't kill it in time.

:Kyurem-Black:
Kyurem-Black @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Sacred Fire
- Freeze-Dry
- Shell Smash

- I think Sacred Fire is better since you won't be hitting basically any wall for good damage with Moongeist (does not even do 50% to Celesteela), and it is a roll to kill Kartana (60% to OHKO).

:Ho-Oh:
Ho-Oh @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shore Up
- Sacred Fire
- U-turn
- Spectral Thief

- Min attack is optimal to not kill Innards Blissey with U turn which can be a big deal in a lot of games and Goggles is preferred since you already have a switch move.

:Heracross-Mega:
Heracross-Mega @ Focus Sash
Ability: Parental Bond
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Sacred Sword
- First Impression
- Sunsteel Strike
- Spectral Thief

- OHKOs and survives a lot of stuff while not needing rocks like Pbond Mgar, Deo S, MMY and Kartana. Can also OHKO stuff with rocks support like Arc and Slaking even after an Evoboost.

:Ferrothorn:
Ferrothorn @ Shed Shell
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Impish Nature
- Spore
- Recover
- Haze
- Anchor Shot

- Spore immune Zyg C/Steelix with stab Anchor shot, not much else to say.

:Deoxys-Attack:
Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Light That Burns the Sky

- Suicide lead that can OHKO Imp Chansey from full HP that does not fear random Bounce mons. Bounce is a very good alternative.

:Electrode:
Electrode @ Air Balloon
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fissure
- Gastro Acid
- Sing
- Stealth Rock

- Self proof NG user on a mon that isn't used much.

:Raticate-Alola:
Raticate-Alola @ Shed Shell
Ability: Wonder Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Parting Shot
- Aromatherapy
- Shore Up
- Stealth Rock

- It really isn't all that good but if people wanna use it, why not include a sensible set in the setpedia.

:Mawile:
Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Extreme Evoboost
- V-create
- Play Rough

- Okay sweeper with a lot of bulk and power.

Today I will showcase a fun team that got me to #1 recently because I'm bored
DUAL SCARF OFFENSE
click on icons for paste, this team peaked at 1762
v1: :greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:-:rayquaza-mega:-:mewtwo-mega-x:-:kartana:
v2: :greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:-:rayquaza-mega:-:kartana:-:kartana:
P.S. I would also like to submit this as a sample because I've been told by many people the samples currently stink

TEAMBUILDING PROCESS

Before I list the different roles my mons play and what they added to the team, I would like to go over v1 of the team. This version had Aura Sphere MGar and MMX over Kartana, which allowed me A. better accuracy on my Fighting move of choice and B. Photon Geyser. My MMX was a slight modification of Gold's MMX. This team also did very well at high ladder, however it was worse than v2 because A. Aura Sphere doesn't OHKO MLop and B. MMX was too clunky to play and often I wouldn't even use it in games I won.
:greninja-ash:-----
One day I pulled up the teambuilder and cooked up an amazing Ash Greninja set. This set had Choice Scarf No Guard Sheer Cold with Beat Up for Innards Out and Focus Sash Dark-weak mons, and Trick+Stealth Rock to set rocks nicely and toy with Wonder Guards not named Arceus. So what did I do? I built an evil offense team with it.
:greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:----
The second Scarfer on this team, PBond Scarf MGar is a high ladder killing machine notorious for blowing everything up. I ran a close-to-standard set with U-Turn to further mess with Innards Out and the unconventional Focus Blast because I was sick and tired of losing to Gold. It also has a Modest nature to get the jump on MMY and get better rolls vs MMX? I think? Maybe? I never got a bad roll with Timid, so I'm genuinely not sure.
:greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:---
Running Arceus was a game-changing decision that allowed the team to be astronomically better in some matchups. With the standard Fist Plate set, it's able to self-improof very reliably (unless the Imposter user in question has a Fist Plate of its own, in which case I would suggest forfeiting the game instantly. JK just use Kartana to OHKO/OHKO after Smash with SSS). This mon also turned the balance matchup from "nah I'd look for a career change after this" to "haha funny arceus go brrrr."
:greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:-:rayquaza-mega:--
A while back, someone used Triage MRay to outspeed and kill my entire team. I didn't think of it much at first, but once I picked up the set, I quicky realized how destructive this mon can be. It can revenge literally anything, outspeed FakeSpeed Slaking by a sliver, and sweep through HO teams. Most traditional sweep-stopping tools also fail against this mon, as Innards Out gets chipped without recovery, PrankHaze gets Oblivion Winged to oblivion, and PrankBond gets outsped. However, it struggles against Psyspam teams, as its main form of damage is through its priority move.
:greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:-:rayquaza-mega:-:kartana:-
Our first Kartana, Kart allows the team a Strong Sole Sunsteel Spammer, as well as another form of revenge killing with Ice Shard. It used to have an Adamant nature to KO Zygod with Ice Shard, but I later switched the nature to Jolly and gave it Thousand Arrows because I wasn't seeing many Zygod on ladder. Notice that this Kart is also a variation of Unwallable Kartana, with SSS over Spore allowing to pick up on many more KOs.
:greninja-ash:-:gengar-mega:-:arceus:-:rayquaza-mega:-:kartana:-:kartana:
Finally, our last mon is a Prank Kart. Specifically Gold's Prank Kart. Imprison seemed a bit niche without PsyTerrain, so I went with Spore to force more progress on opposing teams. Not much to say here otherwise.

MATCHUPS: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Good matchups (ranked from best to worst)
:kartana: HO: This matchup is great due to Scarfers and Triage MRay outspeeding common HO staples, as well as Prank Kart catching them off guard. Most of the games I played vs HO I won.
:mewtwo-mega-x: MMX spam: This sub-archetype of HO was usually bested in practice, due to Triage MRay being so good into the most common MMX spam teams. However, it is not as winnable as HO.

:mewtwo-mega-y: Psyspam: This archetype I usually won against, however I won less than the other two. This team notably has a 2:1 win/loss ratio against Gold's team, but version one has a much lower chance, which was very peculiar.

Bad matchups (ranked from best to worst)
:slaking: BO/Balance: I'm listing these two together because I don't know the difference they're extremely similar. This matchup, while being in their favor, is around a 45/55 matchup. Be sure to watch out for random mid ladder sets on this archetype.
:zygarde-complete: Stall: I never won a single game against stall. You would think Arceus would destroy the archetype, however most stall teams nowadays have Magic Bounce or Magic Coat to block taunt, or just a special wall like Ho-Oh or Meloetta.

IMPROOFING SCHEME
:greninja-ash: Improofed by :arceus: or itself.
:gengar-mega: Improofed by :arceus: and :rayquaza-mega:, or :kartana: #2 in an emergency.
:arceus: Improofed by itself.
:rayquaza-mega: Improofed by :arceus:
:kartana: Improofed by :rayquaza-mega:
:kartana: #2 Improofed by :greninja-ash: (or just use :arceus: and predict the switch when they Spore you)

BONUS TEAM
:mewtwo-mega-x:-:mewtwo-mega-x:-:mewtwo-mega-x:-:mewtwo-mega-x:-:mewtwo-mega-x:-:blissey: mmx spam 5, peak something I can't remember at #2 I think???
Generic-ish ReSolaris inspired MMX spam team, enjoy

Ok inspired by Glory, this is the most useless rankings you have ever seen!

Healing Moves Aura Rankings

S Tier:
  1. Moonlight (Pink color is really beautiful to look at in the builder, using it gives you massive aura as well.)
A Tier:
  1. Roost
  2. Soft Boiled
B Tier:
  1. Wish
  2. Rest
  3. Heal Order (The user calls out its underlings to heal it)
C Tier:
  1. Milk Drink
  2. Slack Off
  3. Shore Up
  4. Recover
D Tier:
  1. Synthesis
F Tier:
  1. Morning Sun (Terrible color in the builder, all your aura is lost by using this.)
We may have disagreements but Moonlight is definitely S and you know it, and if you don't agree on that point, you're absolutely wrong.
