Tsareena @ Lum Berry
Ability: Queenly Majesty
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Power Whip
- U-turn
- Knock Off / High Jump Kick

So Rhyperior is a mon who hates hazards, Water-types and Ground-types. Who handles these? Tsareena. But Tsareena is weary of things like Rotom-Heat and Flying-types but capitalizes on them through U-turn. Who likes this? Rhyperior. The two form a hazard core, pressure Gligar, manage Scizor to an extent and annoy each orher’s checks alot.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Ice
- Synthesis

Seed Flare forces out Water type Pokemon and Shaymin doesn't mind being statused thanks to Natural Cure. Stone Edge on Rhyperior deals with flying type pokemon that are a pain to deal with for Shaymin

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance
- Superpower

Scizor appreciates Rhyperior to come in on mons like Moltres and Rotom Heat and set up rocks for Scizor so that it can KO Amoonguss with +2 bug bite after rocks, something that Rhyperior doesn’t like. Scizor also checks fightings like Coballion and Terrakion which Rhyperior doesn’t appreciate. Rhyperior also blocks powerful voltswitchers in the tier like meg a mane which takes advantage of scizor.

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Scizor Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Amoonguss: 378-446 (87.5 - 103.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Life Orb Scizor Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 302-356 (93.4 - 110.2%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Terrakion: 307-361 (95 - 111.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

cobalion (1).gif

CRYSTALS (Cobalion) @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Flash Cannon
- Focus Blast
- Volt Switch

coba is p shitty steel type given how it doesn't resist Steel, Fairy, or Psychic. Rhyperior's bulk leads for a nice pair. rhyperior running sr means cobalion can run either CM, or the basic SD set but with like Rock Polish in the last slot. cobalion serving as a knock absorber so rhyperior doesn't lose its passive recovery is cool too.

Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
- Roost
Mega Pidgeot is a suitable partner for Rhyperior because it can harass grass types like Celebi, Amoonguss, Chesnaught, and Roserade to help Rhyperior doing it's thing in piece, it can also do well against pokemon like Seismitoad and Swampert that annoy Rhyperior. Meanwhile, Rhyperior actually returns the favor with an exceptional matchup against pokemon Rotom-H and Manectric that use their electric typing to bring Mega Pidgeot turmoil, and can even do well against Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Pidge's public enemy number 1. Rhyperior also sets rocks that allow Pidgeot to gather chip when forcing pokemon to pivot.

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Filter
EVs: 252 HP / 248 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Curse
- Heavy Slam

Rhyperior takes pressure off Aggron to set hazards, whilst checking the Flying-types and Electric-types that really can come in freely on Aggron. Aggron then comes in on common Rhyperior pivots such as Amoonguss /Defensive Primarina/Latias etc etc and reliably shuts them down and acts a wincon using the rocks set by Rhyperior to start chipping away at the enemy team.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 76 Def / 180 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Defog
- Toxic
- Protect

appreciates rhyperior blocking volt switch from electric types such as mega manectric and in return sponges water type attacks from the likes of specs primarina while providing defog support

Congratulations faded love for winning 8th week of UU Matchmaking !
For this 9th week, you'll have to find the best teammate for Lum Berry Tsareena !

Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
- Roost

I changed my submission to Mega Pidgeot. It works well together as Tsareena can remove rocks for pidgeot which constantly chips away. Mega Pidgeot also struggles against common priority users such as Scizor and Crawdaunt. Tsarenna can abuse its ability to ignore that to help Mega Pidgeot have an easier time. Mega Pidgoet also can help get rid of stuff like Amoonguss and Latias for Tsareena. Tsareena also has a good mu vs stuff like Rhyperior and Empoleon (via High Jump) and can also heavily damage Rotom Heat for Pidgeot.

THE SOUND (Moltres) @ Metronome
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- U-turn/Defog
- Flamethrower
- Hurricane
- Roost
Moltres is able to punish Amoonguss, extra bulky Steel-types like Empoleon, and deal with some fire-types like Infernape. In return Tsareena can spin, hit bulky waters/grounds harder than molt, and switch into scalds even as a physical mon. U-turn core is also cool.

Volcanion @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 44 SpA / 216 Spe
Modest Nature
- Steam Eruption
- Flamethrower
- Toxic
- Substitute

Volcanion doesn't mind fire/ice moves and appreciates Rapid Spin clearing entry hazards. It also likes U-turn to get it into favourable situations to set up Substitute.
