muddy buddy (Quagsire) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Counter
- Scald
- Recover

Blissey + Quagsire is a standard stall core found in most stall teams, unlike alo which isn't present in double unaware versions. Quagsire pairs incredibly with blissey due to unaware allowing it to deal with the set up sweepers taking advantage of the passive nature of blissey. Counter allows it to more reliably deal with Altaria, and punish u-turners such as scizor and beedrill, which would otherwise gain momentum on such teams easily.

Slowbro @ Slowbronite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Block
- Rest
- Scald
- Calm Mind / Toxic

Slowbro is a pretty solid fat mon that covers Blissey as a Fighting-resist as well as a general cover to incoming physical attacks. This Slowbro can function as a win con for stall or even fat balance with CM and benefits from either Heal Bell or Toxic on Blissey. I chose Slowbro over a fat water like Alo due to Slowbro's ability to be less passive in general. Block also helps improve opposing fat matchup which is cool.

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald

By far the most used and arguably greatest stall core this gen, Alo and Bliss provide amazing perks for each other as well as to most stall teams. At a basic level, Blissey covers all the special attackers, while Alo manages the physical ones. They also provide amazing utility, having Rocks, Heal Bell and the ability to spread 2 types of status. While it only gets so much health back, Blissey can appreciate a Wish in harsher enviroments as well. Really only NP Celebi/Luke/Ape as well as CB Rak can eat this core alive, but even they can succumb to unfortunate circumstances.

Timid Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin

- Sludge Bomb

Fighting resist for Blissey that can get rid of entry hazards. Scald can force out some physical based pokemon.

Congratulations Scizorphobic for winning 10th week of UU Matchmaking !

Bisharp @ Assault Vest
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 208 HP / 236 Atk / 64 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch

Bisharp pairs well with the Ice Punch Variant of the Toxicroak set. This toxicroak gets forced out constantly by faster psychic types such as Celebi, Starmie and Latias, that AV Bisharp can pursuit trap, letting Toxciroak use Ice Punch to break through Gligar.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Giga Drain
- Recover

Giga Drain for various ground pokemon that would use Earthquake on Toxicroak. Stealth Rock is a good entry hazard that punishs flying type pokemon for switching into Celebi and Toxicroak. U-turn allows you to avoid switchins to Celebi.

Rotom-Mow @ Wiki Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Leaf Storm
- Defog / Hidden Power Fire

Rotom-C acts as a decent check to Ground-types and stuff like Mega Aerodactyl for Toxicroak and can bring it in via Volt Switch.
