EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer

Crawdaunt pairs nicely with Manectric as a breaker that fucks up bulky ground-types and can even lure scarf Hydreigon with Superpower. Manectric helps Crawdaunt break bulky waters.

:dp/scizor:
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit / Knock Off

Effective core used alongside Scarf Drei on like 90% of VoltTurn teams. Sciz’s Bullet Punch catches many of Mane’s faster answers, Pursuit’s Latias and U-turns on fat Waters to bring Mane in. For HP Grass variants, you can also knock Gligar. In return, Mane softens physical blows, Volts on Grasses and Latias so Scizor can come in, and in general the two can pivot around their answers to keep an upper hand. Struggles pretty much only with defensive Grounds that aren’t weak to Steel + Ice, like Nido and Hippo.
Scizor is not allowed as a teammate this week.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off / Stealth Rocks

Big boy Mamo is a great partner for Mega Manectric. Mamo can threaten the Dragons, Grounds, and set rocks even for Mega Mane. Meanwhile, Mega Mane can help wear down Rotom Heat and nail Slowbro for Mamo, while also providing Volt Switch support for Mamoswine.

Mienshao @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 100 HP / 156 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Fake Out

Forms a neat voltturn core w/ mane and helps to spread chip around the opponent's team. Regenerator makes this core pretty durable if hazards are kept off the field. It's especially nice to force out special walls or to get knock off on grounds like hippo and gligar. Mienshao also appreciates any physical hits coming its way being weakened by intimidate so it's overall pretty nice synergy.

Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Knock Off

Scarf krookodile helps to pursuit trap problematic pokemon for roserade, such as Manectric, Aero and especially Latias, while can either gain momentum from the switch it forces with volt switch, pursuit trap it or use it as set up bait respectively.

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Roost

Mega aerodactyl appreciates Roserade's ability to take down bulky water types like Swampert, Alomomola, and Suicune. All of which annoy Aerodactyl-Mega. In turn, Aerodactyl-Mega can come in on Moltres and shrug off the damage with Roost, as well as pursuit trap things like Latias which checks Roserade.

Terrakion with Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Earthquake

Terrakion appreciates the opponents pokemon being worn down by Spikes/Toxic Spikes. Leaf Storm beats the water/ground type pokemon that are problematic for Terrakion.

Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Defog/Stealth Rock
- U-turn
Gligar can U-turn Roserade in so that it can start unleashing havoc on the opponent's team. The fact that Gligar can tempt switch-ins, namely from bulky water types, helps Roserade exert pressure as when it U-turns those waters will be staring down Rose instead of Gligar. Gligar also tempts these switch-ins from pokemon like Altaria-Mega and Suicune variants that want to try and use the passive Gligar as setup fodder, these pokemon are also pressured by Roserade and Roserade will thank Gligar for the U-turn. Gligar can also take strong physical hits, making it a good switchin for various moves that try to hit Roserade on it's weakest defense.

Zeraora @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Knock Off

Zera appreciates Roserade beating all of it's answers except for Gligar, which Zera can lure with Knock and then both can chip it down. Roserade appreciates Zeraora beating flying types as well as chipping fatter steel types for Roserade to smash through.

Congratulation InfernoDolphin73 for winning 14th week of UU Matchmaking !
For this 15th week, you'll have to find the best teammate for Swords Dance Haxorus !

Haxorus @ Dragonium Z / Lum Berry
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab

Please submit your Pokemon before the deadline which is 10/3/2019 11.59 PM GMT +2.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Vacuum Wave

Lucario has a fantastic matchup against big threats of Haxorus like Mamoswine and Scizor because it resists their priority moves. Lucario can proceed to aggressively set up or remove the threat to Haxorus sweeping. Lucario can also check scarfers that check Haxorus like a Draco locked Hydreigon and Latias. In return, Haxorus can heavily weaken things like Amoonguss and stall break to make it easier for Lucario.

:dp/moltres:
Moltres @ Sky Plate / Flyinium Z
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Fire Blast
- Roost
- U-turn

Moltres makes a good partner for Haxorus, using U-turn to bring it in on various mons so it can fire an attack or SD. In particular, it attracts Rotom-Heat and Blissey, two mons Haxorus loves to set up on, especially if it’s Lum Berry. In return, Moltres can slap physical walls like Alo, MAlt or Pert after minimal chip, ahich may give Hax a hard time.
