VGC '11 US Northeast Regional - Newark, NJ - June 18th - WON BY imperfectspider

I'm almost sure that we won't reach the 512 limit for Seniors, but I would get there at least 30 minutes prior to registration. (I like to go nice and early to practice a bit and just chill with other people)

Assuming we don't all sweep DC and just come to this NJ regional to chill with everyone. That might happen with a lot of us in the senior division.

If your in Masters, that almost 7 hours before registration which is just a bit over doing this LOL. However, if your in Seniors, that should be just about the time for you to make it into the first 50 people that's there for Seniors. I'll be there around 8:00 AM or so because I believe that Registration starts at around 9:00 AM for Seniors.

Seniors starts at 8:00 AM with Juniors, it says so on the official VGC website. www.pokemonvgc.com
 
I just realized, I'm def getting there as early as possible. I actually cut a huge part of the line without knowing it to get in last year. The official didn't even say anything lol.

Is it really? That's really early, even for the VGCs. They expect 9 year olds to get up at like 6 o' clock? LOL, well that's alright. I'll be there around 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM hopefully. If you don't mind me asking, what time will you get there?
 
I'm probably getting between 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Shouldn't be too hard because I live so close, but will still be annoying.

Its 6 hours for me! Lmk the final decision- I have a friend who wants to go with me and we'd be more than willing to contribute to gas money. ^_^

Also if Dubulous is going to NJ he's right on the interstate you'd be travelling on- depends on how big of a van your parents have XD
 
Welllllll it seats 8 including the driver So it will definitely be big enough for 4/5 people and bags. Ill see because that would be a cool/awkward drive hehe.
 
I'm completely new to competitive pokemon, but I would love(LOVE) to come to this regional. It's about eight hours away form upstate NY so I have to practice a LOT and learn all about team building, and RNG stuff or find trades. I seriously hope I will be able to be ready in time. It was be awesome to meet other pokemon fans. I can't find any IRL!

Are there a lot of really well known/awesome players going to this regional in the Master's division? I could try and look it up, but I am SO new that I don't even know who big threats are.... I wish I was a 10 year old!
And I hope everyone who goes has an amazing time and does well! And maybe would want to meet up if I get to go!
