Project Victim Of The Week

inteleon

:ss/Inteleon:
Inteleon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Surf

- Ice Beam
- U-turn

:Inteleon: is a check to Noivern as it can come in a few times on Flamethrower and is capable of OHKOing it in the process with its
Coverage-Option in Ice beam. But Draco Meteor has a chance to kill Inteleion too therefore switching Inteleon on a Draco Meteor is risky,
but in overall Inteleon is a good check and can revengekill Noivern very easily with Ice Beam.

Calcs:
252 SpA Inteleon Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Noivern: 456-540 (146.6 - 173.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Noivern Flamethrower vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Inteleon: 57-67 (20.2 - 23.7%) -- 59.3% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Noivern Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Inteleon: 246-291 (87.2 - 103.1%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Aromatisse @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Protect

Aromatisse is a fantastic counter to Noivern, thanks to its pure fairy typing, and immunity to Taunt allowing it to freely heal against it.

252 SpA Noivern Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Aromatisse: 89-105 (21.9 - 25.8%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Aromatisse Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Noivern: 242-288 (77.8 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage

Curse Snorlax
:ss/snorlax:

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Careful Nature
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 232 SpD
- Rest
- Curse
- Body Slam
- Darkest Lariat
I have been playing with this mon a lot recently on the ladder, and I would consider it as a counter to noivern, Snorlax can come on Noivern and take Draco Meteor and Flametrower without problem, good HP and SDef, aslo without boost can 3HKO Noivern and even force a Para by spaming Body Slam, if that isn't enought, Snorlax can Rest and heal up entirely and use Noivern as a set up folder with Curse.
252 SpA Noivern Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Snorlax: 118-141 (22.5 - 26.9%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Snorlax Body Slam vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Noivern: 120-142 (38.5 - 45.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

I’m back, and I want to give Congratulations to Taptricity and DraconicLepus for winning this week!

The next victim is Rotom-W!

:ss/rotom-wash:

ORANGE BOY (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 184 HP / 112 SpA / 212 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Nasty Plot

Rotom-W has quickly made its mark on the tier, washing out a laundry list of common Steel- and Fire-type’s ability to throw off attacks with its bulk and excellent defensive typing, putting opponents in the spin cycle with Volt Switch, allowing for safe switch-ins for common wallbreakers such as Haxorus while also packing an offensive punch itself with Nasty Plot. How will you leave this new presence out to dry?

Reserving gastrodon

:ss/gastrodon:
Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recover
- Scald
- Earth Power
- Toxic

Gastrodon is a ground type. Gastrodon has storm drain as an ability. Gastrodon has toxic and recover. That's pretty much all that needs to be said about gastrodon in the face of Rotom-Wash, an easy counter.

Rotom-Mow
:ss/rotom-mow:
Rotom-Mow @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
Rotom's Wash grass counterpart can be considered a counter to Washtom, despite not having any reliable recovery, Mowtom typyng gives a x4 electric resistance and a x2 water resistance and inmunity to a possible paralysis, also, Mowton can outspeed and OHKO even without any boost with stab Leaf Storm. Also Washtom can be used as a set up folder. Rotom mow would need to be too chiped to get KO by a +2 Hydro Pump.
252 SpA Rotom-Mow Leaf Storm vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 344-408 (119.8 - 142.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 64-76 (26.5 - 31.5%) -- 43.2% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 112 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-Mow: 129-152 (53.5 - 63%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Reserving Celebi

:ss/Celebi:
Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Giga Drain
- Earth Power

:celebi: is a counter to washtom as it can come in on any attack and can straight up beat rotom wash or scare it out. celebi doesnt mind discharge paralysis because it has natural cure to heal itself if it gets a status condition. due to rotom wash having volt switch in its arsenal which makes it able to bring in an answer to celebi celebi with earth power can check these as well.
also rotom wash needs to be at +4 to spread out serious damage on celbi and celebi can just heal itself with giga drain, therefore celebi is a counter to washtom.

calcs:
252 SpA Celebi Giga Drain vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 194-230 (67.5 - 80.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Celebi Psychic vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 117-138 (40.7 - 48%) -- 5.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

112 SpA Rotom-Wash Discharge vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Celebi: 50-59 (14.6 - 17.3%) -- possible 8HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Celebi: 68-81 (19.9 - 23.7%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Celebi: 43-51 (12.6 - 14.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever

reserving goodra
Check
:ss/Goodra:
Goodra @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Sludge Wave
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
Goodra makes a really hard check against Rotom-Wash. The attacks coming from the washing machine do little damage and Modest Choice Specs Draco Meteor always OHKOs in return. Goodra's special side is so thicc that you even switch into +2 Rotom-Wash and still check it (assuming no para or crit). The reason that I think it's more of a check is that Goodra lacks recovery so it can't stay healthy throughout the match to switch into Rotom-Wash for multiple times.
edit: *make this a counter 'cause Eve said so.

:Rotom-Wash: --> :Goodra:
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Discharge vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 35-42 (10.9 - 13%) -- possible 8HKO
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 48-57 (14.9 - 17.7%) -- possible 6HKO
112 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 30-36 (9.3 - 11.2%) -- possible 9HKO
+2 112 SpA Rotom-Wash Discharge vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 70-83 (21.8 - 25.8%) -- 2.1% chance to 4HKO
+2 112 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 96-114 (29.9 - 35.5%) -- 25.4% chance to 3HKO
+2 112 SpA Rotom-Wash Volt Switch vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Goodra: 61-72 (19 - 22.4%) -- possible 5HKO

:Goodra: --> :Rotom-Wash:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Goodra Draco Meteor vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 294-346 (102.4 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Goodra Sludge Wave vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 143-169 (49.8 - 58.8%) -- 75.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers
252+ SpA Choice Specs Goodra Thunderbolt vs. 184 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 136-160 (47.3 - 55.7%) -- 22.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers

Time for voting! It'll be ending 04/22/2020. I'm considering Goodra a counter rather than a check because, well, it is. As a result, there aren't any checks to vote on.

also: I'm resigning from this role because me and faded have some pretty significant disagreements and I don't want to cause tensions. was fun while it lasted, thank you all for your contributions, and please keep them coming! :blobuwu:

Alright, I’m breaking the tie.
Congratulations to Corthius to winning this week of Victim!!!

....This week’s victim, in honor of our NEW COHOST Taptricity is Toxtricity!

:ss/toxtricity:
SUPERBASS (Toxtricity) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Boomburst
- Overdrive
- Volt Switch
- Toxic

Toxtricity is one of the most formidable wallbreakers in the metagame at the moment, with amazing power and neutral coverage. Additionally, with a not terrible speed tier and defensive typing / bulk, it can pivot in on a myriad of threats such as Cobalion and Sylveon safely and throw off a hit. How will you stop the music?

Rhyperior
:ss/rhyperior:
Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SpD
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast / Stone Edge
- Swords Dance / Protect / Smack Down
Rhyperior is a check to Specs Toxtricity, inmunity to electric stab, and rock type resistance to Boomburst, also Rhyperior is able to OHKO in return with Stab Earthquake, however due to the lack on Special Bulk and realiable recovery, it can get 3HKO by Boomburst (5HKO on a Sand scenario), also does not enjoy get toxic and be chiped even more every time it comes to the field
252 SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Toxtricity Boomburst vs. 240 HP / 252 SpD Rhyperior: 152-179 (35.2 - 41.5%) -- 84.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Toxtricity Boomburst vs. 240 HP / 252 SpD Rhyperior in Sand: 103-121 (23.8 - 28%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
16+ Atk Rhyperior Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Toxtricity: 864-1020 (295.8 - 349.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
