Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Roost
- Spikes
- Body Press

Skarmory can wall Mimikyu to hell and back thanks to it's amazing physical bulk and recovery, as well as a steel typing to resist both of Mimikyu's strongest moves. Skarmory can just Iron Head Mimikyu, and kill it in two hits if Mimikyu has already taken Rocky Helmet damage, and it will 3HKO if Mimikyu only sets up, which it most likely wants since it needs to at least get chip on Skarmory before dying.

0 Atk Skarmory Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 174-206 (69.3 - 82%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 39-47 (11.6 - 14%) -- possible 8HKO

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 75-91 (22.4 - 27.2%) -- 53.1% chance to 4HKO

reserving tsareena Submitting Tsareena as a CHECK.
tenor.gif

Tsareena @ Assault Vest
Ability: Queenly Majesty
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Triple Axel/High Jump Kick
- Power Whip/TROP KICK
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin

I've had some experience facing mimikyu sets, and my defensive tsareena set fares reasonably well against them.
Mimikyu is often used as a revenge setup killer, and Tsareena cannot tank 2 boosted play roughs - her job is either to switch into a predicted shadow sneak or to knock off and deal substantial chip damage, as you can see by the calcs. Also, oftentimes people forget about queenly majesty and just click it carelessly.
The issue is what moves you'll run on tsareena - triple axel for noivern, or HJK for a much wider coverage (incineroar, steel types, kyurem). The Triple Axel set (used here) wins most often because of how disguise works.
There's another way to ensure a win - a pinch HP berry/Kee berry can ensure you to ALWAYS win given you land your attacks, but those sets kinda don't counter anything else.

 BALLS OF STEEL SET
You can run TROP KICK and just keep kickin it - it's an almost guaranteed 2HKO, the drop goes through disguise so it can't kill you before you kill it.

0 Atk Tsareena Trop Kick vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 106-126 (42.2 - 50.1%) -- 88.3% chance to 2HKO
-1 252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tsareena: 110-133 (31.6 - 38.2%) -- 92.4% chance to 3HKO
-2 252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tsareena: 83-99 (23.8 - 28.4%) -- 93.1% chance to 4HKO
-1 252+ Atk Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tsareena: 85-102 (24.4 - 29.3%) -- 99.8% chance to 4HKO

THE WINCONS:
+1 Speed Knock Off, Power Whip, Knock off. (Mimikyu is revenge killing);
Triple Axel hit (2 is enough, so 81%), Power Whip hit (kinda risky) (ODDS: ~70%) into any scenario except an already boosted and disguised (wins on webs), but kinda rng-reliant;
Knock Off into a Power Whip and a Knock Off (Mimikyu is revenge killing/OR it's a 1v1/Lead battle/simultaneous switch)

THE CALCS

0 Atk Tsareena Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 123-147 (49 - 58.5%) -- approx. 2HKO
0 Atk Tsareena Power Whip vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 181-214 (72.1 - 85.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Tsareena Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 98-116 (39 - 46.2%) -- 19.9% chance to 2HKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tsareena: 165-196 (47.4 - 56.3%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO

(85% is a great deal, but if you remove LO the damage goes to 252+ Atk Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tsareena: 127-151 (36.4 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO, CAPPING AT MAX 99,6% - You'll never die if you use knock off, but power whip must land)

As you can see, it wins more often than it loses (anything that doesn't resist a +2 stab from it is already dead), and I always like to remember that everyone forgets Queenly Majesty exists. AND IT'S AN EXCUSE TO USE TROP KICK!
GIVE THE WAIFU SOME LOVE AND PUT HER ON B TIER ALREADY!

reserving weezing-galar

Weezing-Galar @ Black Sludge
Bold Nature
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
- Strange Steam
- Will-O-Wisp
- Defog
- Toxic

It's your basic weezing-galar set. I'm nominating this as a counter due to the fact that none of mimikyu's moves do much to it, so it can just cripple it with will-o-wisp to neuter it for the rest of the game. Could've been more creative but i felt this was a great opportunity to pick arguably mimikyu's best counter.

252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 55-64 (16.4 - 19.1%) -- possible 8HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 107-126 (32 - 37.7%) -- 0.5% chance to 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 95-113 (28.4 - 33.8%) -- 97.2% chance to 4HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 95-112 (28.4 - 33.5%) -- 95.1% chance to 4HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Outside of countering mimikyu, this basic boi also does good at dealing with top threats like Terrakion, lycanroc-dusk, and mienshao. It also can remove hazards and cripple pokemon that can switch into it with toxic.
252 Atk Choice Band Terrakion Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 160-189 (47.9 - 56.5%) -- 33.2% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 Atk Life Orb Lycanroc-Dusk Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 130-153 (38.9 - 45.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 Atk Mienshao Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 212+ Def Weezing-Galar: 56-66 (16.7 - 19.7%) -- possible 7HKO after Black Sludge recovery (this is the most any of scarf's moves can do)

Btw I'm using the most common sets on the damage calculator under "UU showdown usage" so yeah these calcs are relevant

Arcanine is a counter to Mimikyu with its good bulk and access to Intimidate and status such as Will-O-Wisp and Toxic. Arcanine can also 2HKO Mimikyu if using Flare Blitz and 2HKO even with Flamethrower after Disguise and Life Orb damage from Mimikyu, and it can easily recover the damage taken with Morning Sun.

Reserving Cloyster

Cloyster @ King's Rock
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Shell Smash
- Ice Shard
- Rock Blast

Mimikyu's a nightmare to deal with for offensive teams, but luckily a HO staple checks it quite well, that mon being Cloyster. In a 1 v 1 situation, Mimikyu outspeeds and clicks wood hammer only to get KOd by skill link icicle spear in conjuction with LO and wood hammer recoil. As long as Mimikyu hasn't set up and rocks are not on your side of the field Cloyster can force a trade.

Things are different when Cloyster succesfully sets up though, as shadow sneak is only a 3HKO while icicle spear kills it through disguise.

252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Wood Hammer vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Cloyster: 174-205 (72.1 - 85%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Cloyster Icicle Spear (5 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 215-260 (85.6 - 103.5%) -- approx. 6.3% chance to OHKO
[It OHKOs in conjuction with (22.8 - 26.9% recoil damage) from wood hammer]

When Cloyster sets up:
252+ Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. -2 0 HP / 4 Def Cloyster: 87-103 (36 - 42.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252+ Atk Cloyster Icicle Spear (5 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 435-515 (173.3 - 205.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

reserving doublade as an offensive check

:ss/doublade:
Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak

- Close Combat

:doublade: is an offensive check as it can threaten mimikyu enormously as a neutral mimikyu wont do too much damage at all even with its STAB-shadow sneak, wood hammer and play rough wont do anything at all either. doublade in return can break mimikyus disguise and threaten a OHKO with iron head.
furthermore doublade is able to come in on +2 play rough or a +2 wood hammer, doublade can also come in on a +2 shadow sneak and break mimikyus disguise with its STAB-Move in iron head and it can also tank another shadow sneak and OHKO mimikyu with an iron head in the process.

calcs:
252+ Atk Doublade Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 308-366 (122.7 - 145.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Doublade Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 156-186 (62.1 - 74.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 35-42 (10.8 - 13%) -- possible 8HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 31-36 (9.6 - 11.1%) -- possible 9HKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 65-78 (20.1 - 24.2%) -- 0.3% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 70-82 (21.7 - 25.4%) -- 55.6% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 62-73 (19.2 - 22.6%) -- guaranteed 5HKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Doublade: 127-151 (39.4 - 46.8%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Submitting Escavalier as a check

:bw/escavalier:

Coalescence (Escavalier) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 168 SpD / 84 Spe
Careful Nature
- Megahorn
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Close Combat

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Escavalier: 126-149 (36.6 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Escavalier Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mimikyu: 270-318 (107.5 - 126.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Esca can find plenty of opportunity to come in on this particular Mimikyu, due to the lack of Shadow Claw on this particular set. Baiting in a resisted Play Rough or a Wood Hammer isn't the most difficult task either. As seen through the calc, you should be covered in all situations that don't involve directly switching in to a +2 sneak while Disguise is still intact, Aside from that one specific scenario, Esca should be able to break Disguise and KO in the vast majority of cases, making for a very sturdy check.
