Do you people even notice how all the rules were conjured to cater to the white Pokemon players? I heart McMeghan more than anyone on Smogon, and quite frankly, he can play wherever he pleases because he's my beloved McMeghan. That grandma whatever rule was also made in order to "explain" why BKC can still play for East even though he's in Europe now. If BKC were black, he wouldn't get this white privilege.
Zamrock has been a loyal team Asia player, yet he can't play for his continent even though he's Asian. This is a messed up system. It's always about the white people. Let's stick together, my fellow color people.

Who's pomman? I've been so inactive with real life matters that I no longer know who's who on Smogon anymore. I feel so out of the loop.
I still can't believe there's now a team Greece and still no team Indian. Isn't at least 20% of the playerbase on here Indian? Also, where's a team China? Last I checked, about 1/3 of the world population is Indian and Chinese. Yet there's a team Greece, and still no team Indian or team China. How many white centric teams are there in addition to Greece? Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Europe, US East, West, Central, Metro, and Canada. White power at it again. Might as well just call this tournament the White Cup of Pokemon.

This isn't really a post to bitch about it affecting my own team ( I really don't care ) but the "culturally similar" argument is fucking dumb and a piss poor way of TD's bending rules regarding illegibility.

We have always played by the rules. You dont even understand how strict we are about eligiblities even isa can confirm. The fact is, ABR is in israel his IP for the past month show it. This IP thing was integrated to remove any doubts. So what the fuck are you arguing about. Can you prove TheEnder is anywhere in the east coast of the US? Tell you what send Keldeo Kid to israel to investigate.
i don't even have a problem with ABR joining but u and i both know he's just visiting israel for the summer and otherwise has no ties to afrabs. i was in japan during wcop signups so i could have tried to sign up for asia and it would've been legit under their new IP rulings but hilariously illegitimate in reality, and ABR's signup is no different. again, I don't really care. let my dude play with the team he wants. just don't go doing that shit and then calling other teams illegitimate--that's the lame part.
i did enjoy the keldeo kid quip, that was legitimately funny.
