1V1WCOP PROFILE PICTURE TOP 10 AND BOTTOM 10 LIST

Hello Gamers, I'm here to deliver the very highly requested Profile picture Power Rankings. Let me start off by saying that dear fucking god you guys have the worst profile pics, also I ignored any of the base profile pics (standard mon sprite) and I also ignored DC3's ugly ass profile picture because I was scared that if i put her on here she wouldn't fall in love with me once I go undefeated as I have planned. That being said let's get right into it starting with the bottom 10. Good luck virgins

BOTTOM 10

Avarice my boy this profile pic really isn't THAT bad but as a kid I remember deciding who the cutest girl of TDI was and it was always between Gwen and Bridgette, never did this clown come up. Awful character, and that has landed you on this list.

As we all know 2D>3D, but even then this girl just isn't really cute. Maybe it's just the picture or the outfit but this is just not it bro. I think maybe with a cuter real girl you coulda avoided this fate but that's still a dangerous game. good luck next time bro.

Dogshit mon, mediocre picture, possibly furry? those are 3 things that alone could land you on the list. all 3 together? that's for sure on there. Sorry Gym Socks! maybe if you chose a cool Pokemon like Bisharp you might have avoided this tragedy.

This mon is fucking NASTY. This is actually a bottom 10 mon (maybe) god it's so bad. I don't understand how you could like this or use it as your profile picture. Try to improve your taste and hope to do better next year buddy.

LMFAO did you think being my teammate would save you? no fucking sir. I'm sure this is ironic and a meme but that doesn't save it from being on this list brother. I see you also got your partner in crime to complete the Set below us.

The other half of the "haha funny spongebob meme" duo, however this picture alone wasn't enough for you. You decided to follow it up with one of the worst usernames of all time what the fuck is good bro LOL. God damn this tier needs help.

I don't even really understand what I'm looking at but I do know that it's unpleasant. I don't have much more to say this shit's just ugly.

Did you think you were safe you fucking furry. All I see here is 2 straight up animals dancing and occasionally kissing eachother. the fact that you thought this was a pleasant sight makes me worried for you and for all of your pets that you eye up on the daily. If you really want to be treated like an animal then thank me because I'm here to hunt you.

Iron Crusher.png

This lil guy is pretty cute I couldn't leave him out. he kinda looks like one of those pacman guys who got a makeover and chills with the cool kids now. That being said this doesn't match your name at all so i dropped you a few spaces.

#8

You may have the worst name in this whole fucking tour but as for your profile picture I couldn't leave out a picture like this. kaori is so cute and the picture is cute too. Great taste in characters/art has landed you a well deserved spot on this list. good job buddy.

#7
Yami
Yami.jpg

Yami we have gone from you telling me that I should kill myself to us being on the same team, and while that is quite a turnaround I hold no grudge. I would not ignore your good profile picture because of the past. with a cute girl at the beach I simply would never overlook it. + anyone who knows about Senran Kagura has seen the light.

Look at this cute lil guy just smiling up a storm. How could I leave out such a happy little lad from the list of top 10 profile pics. What an absolute precious being this thing is. Good work M24 being the only pokemon related picture in the top 10.

I want Atago to sit on me
Atago.jpg

Probably slightly boosted by the good usename, I like the pic overall. Takagi is fire and the quote is good too. I pity those of you who haven't seen it because this won't make a lot of sense to you but maybe one day you too, will ascend. Grats Atago let's win OM Snake together too =D

#3
Maki's Fox
Makis.jpg

I'm extremely sad I have to put this rat on my top 10 list. the profile picture is super cute and colorful and I love the aesthetic. Even if Maki's fox choked Steel vs Fairy and called it a "Piper Moment"(I have never lost that matchup???) I still had to put him on here for his profile picture. Sad.

#2
Lilburr

Here's the updated statistical 1v1 WCUP Team Rankings!

WARNING:
The following tier list is not based on player's expertise in their specific slot, it is based on the player's overall results and skill in tourneys.

These will be using the newly updated rosters, also just copy/pasting my old reviews because I'm lazy

A player's individual Win Score in team tournaments (On this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q0L6cn9CrvVX-J3_-kecYK1Z7KCDwmgCTqEhidYEaNI/edit#gid=0 ) is multiplied by their win percentage, which will be rounded up to a 100th.
For players that have below 15 games played in team tours OR less than 5 games won, a score from 1-5 will be added to how good I personally think they are in the tier based on how well they've done in official tours (Some really good players have like, 5 games played in tours, so this gives them a bit of leeway.)
Additionally, 1 extra point will be awarded for every time the player's team has won a teamtour (while they were in it) and 2 extra points will be awarded if they have won an individual tournament (Seasonals/LT's/Classic)

Tfw you win a seasonal and make it to round 12 of another one and only get +2 on the Malcolm24 Scientific PR and Blazikin rolls up with a round 11 and gets +3
To be fair, if you read the rules you would understand how the scores work and why you got a 2, but I have no idea why blazikin got 3 added to him.
You have more than 15 team tour games played so you don’t qualify for the extra points, but you get +2 because you won the seasonal.
Blazikin on the other hand, has more than 15 tour games played as well as only winning 2 team tours so his score should only be increased by 2 as well. Who knows why malcolm added onto his score.

Another thing that maki pointed out is Boat getting +4. Boat has played in 16 team tour games and won at least 5 games won so he should not have +4 and only be left with 1.56. :)

There are probably more flaws I don’t want to look through it all but :I

Also fixing boats score on west makes west drop to last lol

Hello everyone, and welcome to the semi-official 1v1 World Cup Power Rankings!
This project was lead by me, pqs & pazza (big thanks to both of them for helping me collect data smoothly), but it wouldn’t have been possible without Poison Adhesive helping with writing and everyone who helped out by ranking, so much thanks to them too <3

Before we get into the rankings, I’d like to start by explaining the methodology.
We started out by selecting a pool of rankers (1 per tier per team). The criteria we used for rankers was to not have people rank their own pool, but to try to find someone who did have a good amount of knowledge about the tier/said tier’s community. We tried to avoid doubling down on rankers but occasionally were unable to achieve that.
After collecting all the data, I sorted it per person and then sorted it from high to low. From there I calculated two means: the mean of all 7 rankings that person received, and the mean of their 2nd-6th highest rankings.
The reason for the latter was because some of the newer rankers did not know some of the older players, and vice versa with older rankers. This ended up skewing some data (although only SM was really affected in placements). I will include both values in this post, but in these writeups we will discuss the rankings with the outliers removed (again, this is really only relevant in SM).
Now that that’s over, let’s get right into the rankings!

To very little surprise, we find XSC at the top of the Bo7 rankings. Easily one of the SS top dogs, and arguably one of 1v1’s greatest of all time, the tempestuous Frenchmen has all eyes on him heading into this tournament. He’s poised to put up a top record - if he can avoid getting banned, that is. Second is the most recent seasonal champion, Le Creme Brule. Also known as Kebia, the westernmost time zone in this pool has really glowed up over the past year, and is looking to continue her hot streak into yet another tour. Supported by one of the best SS builders in Waylaid, the stars seem to align for Kebia to have her first great team tour record this World Cup.
In 3d place is Austrian wonder neomon. After managing his PL team to semifinals, the neomonster is back to lead another team to success. Despite not having any spectacular tour results yet, neomon is regarded by many as one of 1v1’s top dogs, having success in almost every gen. Following closely in fourth is SiceXV, the runner-up of the most recent seasonal. The newest player on this list, only breaking out this year, will be trying to lead US East’s SS to victory. After a mediocre 1-2 performance in PL, Sice will be looking to establish himself as one of the SS greats in his first tournament as a starter. Equally close behind is the NorthWest Europe captain TheShadowClaw. One of the most decorated players in 1v1’s history, winning the past two editions of this tournament and leading the team in 2018 too, TSC has yet to find the same success in SS as he had in SM, although he did win the post DLC SS No Johns tournament. Supported by an active team and some of his longterm co-champions, it will no doubt be about if, not when, he regains his footing and regains his top 5 status. Finishing off the tightly contested middle slots is Nalei. Tied for the most wins in 1v1 officials, this low of a ranking might be surprising to some. However, Nalei has had little SS success so far, and even went negative in the most recent 1v1PL. Just like with TSC, if Nalei manages to get her game together and returns to form she will without a doubt be a top tier threat.
Second to last is beloved roommod and CONE captain dogknees. Playing his first 1v1 team tournament in 2 years this PL, dogknees managed to just go positive and ended up 3-2. dogknees hasn’t seen the World Cup stage since the very first WC, in which he went 1-4. However, despite the low hopes, the potential is definitely there for dogknees to put up a good showing. Rounding off the Bo7 rankings is Baleblaze. The Asian Snubbull lover is yet to touch Sword and Shield 1v1 in tournament play, and therefore finds himself in dead last. However, Bale has shown promise during SM in the past, so there is no reason to count him out just yet.

At the top of the mountain is ggopw, unarguably the greatest 1v1 player of all time. Despite not liking SS as much as SM, the Serb still managed to win a seasonal without dropping a set (again) and is currently in Losers Finals of LT. It should surprise no one that the East Europe captain is the favorite to crush this stacked slot. In a tied second place we find DenisTheMenace and Waylaid. With XSC in the Bo7 slot, the Italian stallion Denis is free to try his hand at the Bo5 slot, where he will without a doubt pose a challenge for anyone. After already being a great SM player, Denis has really established himself as one of the strongest threats in SS, recently placing 4th in the spring seasonal and going 5-2 in PL. The Barraskewda/West Manager and Two-Time PL champion Waylaid will be starting for his first time this World Cup. He’s far from a team tour rookie though, as his sheet record currently sports 9 wins over 12 games. After winning the SS 1v1 Startup Tournament Waylaid has been pretty much at the top of the SS meta since, and he’s looking to continue his dominance here.
In fourth is another WC newcomer in zioziotrip. The Morpeko tiebreak player had a huge breakout in his first team tournament earlier this year, and will be looking to carry Central’s SS to greatness in his second ever big stage performance. Rounding out the top 5 is South Europe’s last SS player, Close. Despite being the 3d player in SEU’s SS core, Close is no slouch. After playing SM in PL, Close made it to a respectable 5th place finish in LT to prove that he is ready for SS. Not having gone negative since an 0-1 in his first PL, Close is looking to continue that streak in this WC. In 6th is Alice (hi). The NWEU captain is a controversial figure, but has shown to be able to compete with the best over the course of 2 previous WC wins, and has racked up some nice SS wins in PL and the spring seasonal. Motivated as ever to lead her team to victory, Alice will be on the hunt to improve her 7-8 sheet record back to positive once again. CONE player Potatochan finds himself in the 7th rank position. Another newer player who broke out this year only, 2020 join date Potatochan is looking to make it big after only just starting out. A 3-3 performance in PL is nothing to scoff at, and hopes are high for the rookie to improve upon that performance this time around.
Finishing off the top half of the SS Bo5 rankings is Downcoming3. This veteran returned from a longtime hiatus this PL and has adapted to SS quite nicely, making playoffs of LT. During her prime Dc3 managed to make it to Grand Finals of the first LT, so if we can see a full return to form there she will without a doubt put up a top record. Yet another rookie in JustUhhDude finds himself in 9th place. Dude is another newer player, and is actually the only person so far to have his first team tour this World Cup. Making it to Winners Finals in LT shows a lot of promise, but it’s up to Dude to prove that he has what it takes to win on the big stage now.
Continuing the trend of rookies trying to break out is smely socks in 10th. Unlike Dude, he did make an appearance in the last PL, but he only saw the field once, in a game he lost. The hopeful 3d central SS will be working hard to prove himself, and change that winless record.
The 3d CONE SS and 11th rank, Bopher, is, just like Dude, making his first major team tour appearance here. Expected by many to defy this low ranking, the crafty Australian will be looking to show what tricks he has up his sleeve in what might just be his breakout tour. Finishing off US East’s SS is the One-Mon-Army wonder LuckyPiper. Starting out in 1v1 during SS, the 12 rank quickly rose to fame for racking up some impressive wins while only using one mon on each team. After a positive PL, Piper is back to add some more wins to his repertoire - especially vs. those whose profile pictures he deems inadequate.
After the last significant dropoff in rankings we find Wanony in 13th. The Belgian will be making his debut in SS this season, but has racked up a numerous amount of BW wins over his respectable career, alongside a PL and two previous WC wins. Despite not having played SS in team tournaments so far, Wanony did show a lot of promise in the recent Post DLC No Johns tournament, where he made it to the semifinals. Tied with Wanony is beloved and hyped rookie eblurb, who after an impressive seeded tour run finds himself in the last EEU SS slot. Despite having no prior team tournament experience, the environment is quite good for eblurb to break out here. With neomon and ggopw as his managers and co-SS players, the stars seemingly align for him here. The Asian SSBo5 core is the only one to place adjacently to each other, but unfortunately does so in 15th and 16th place. philisteen, just like eblurb, had a respectable seeded performance, but has no prior team tournament experience. All eyes are on DEG to see how well he prepared his mentee for the big stage. Finishing off the SSBo5 rankings is frostyicelad. Repping a disappointing 1-6 sheet record, frosty will be looking to have his first positive performance this World Cup, and to defy his ranking to prove that he does have what it takes.

One of the defining players of his time, Chickenpie2 is seen at the top of the SM power ranking, with Squirtell 1v1 closely behind. Though Chickenpie2 has not joined any team tournaments before this World Cup since PL 3, most still remember him and expect him to be one of the best builders and pickers in this tour, shown by his wins deep in seasonal and winning LT 2. Squirtell 1v1, though newer than most players, has still racked up great tournament and has sealed his place as one of the best SM players by winning LT 3. At third we have LBDC, who had a great pop-off this PL getting one of the best SM records in 6-2. In 4th place we see Alakazam, one of the oldest 1v1 players out there and is up there for having some of the most SM ladder games with one of the best GXE's. He also did quite well in this PL in SM, whereas he'd previously had been playing ORAS in team tournaments. Next we have WailJesus at 5th, being a consistent presence in 1v1 though not being the most talkative, he's gotten far seasonal runs and has been playing since around 2018, and definitely knows his way around SM. AltCauseImInsecure holds 6th place, and for good reason. Though new, he’s found success in multiple generations, with SM being one of his best, qualifying for LT and getting far in some seasonals. I could definitely see most of these players going positive or even 3-0.

At 7th we have SolarflareRo, who has had some great wins in SM and made some good runs in seasonals, but hasn’t had many performances in SM in PL or WC, usually playing BW or, more recently, SWSH. 8th place is home to SUSTENANCE_1 / Akumajou who is a relatively new face in the tournament scene despite being around 1v1 for a while. He really popped off in this PL due to his immaculate way of predicting the opponent very well, though it should be noted that he does need SM building support from his teammates, which East is full of. Next is Kentari, who has made a return in the 1v1 scene after a hiatus for about a year. He’s been successful in almost every 1v1 team tournament up to this point, and many have high expectations for him, but it’s a high risk high reward sort of deal where he’ll probably do very well or very bad, which is why he isn’t that high (fwiw Kentari in his prime would probably be top 3). Lkjc is in 10th place, though doing fairly well in his most recent team tournament, PL, he hasn’t had any other tournaments that have really cemented him as a great SM player, which is why he’s not ranked the highest. 11th place is Elo Bandit, though having some impressive tournament wins like 4-0ing Rosa, he’s also suffered some fatal losses and is quite the inconsistent player, some saying he’s quite obvious in the picking realm. Up next at 12th place is Ninjadog, who isn’t really seen outside of WCOP and PL tours, and does okay in them. I’d say his biggest accomplishment was 3-0ing his pools last WCOP, but he hasn’t really done anything notable in SM outside of that.

At 13th is Blazikin / Moonzy, who seems to have gotten quite washed at the game, though sporting some impressive seasonal runs back in 2018, hasn’t done very well in the recent PL and seems generally detached from the game. 14th place is Felucia, who people generally see as “washed” and hasn’t really done anything impressive in tournaments since 2018. She comes from great roots though, having won 1v1 LT 1 and doing quite well in WCOP and PL 1. Lmni went on a long hiatus from 2018 and wasn’t really the best player in their time then, choking WCOP finals and not really having any notable tournament results outside of then, so not many see them doing that well. Dead at last place comes ima, who has almost zero SM results outside of beating Eriey in PL.

187 Fan standing at top after being voted #1 by almost everyone, because of his general knowledge of ORAS and winning the ORAS cup, and getting support from ggopw makes him the best ORAS in the pool. Although he has to hope he won’t get lucked out of his wins like in PL4 where he lost 3 games to hax. Whale comes in 2nd because of his amazing record in PL4, amazing player and very lucky, this time around he has actual ORAS support with deg unlike in PL. He will do good if he tries and deg builds him good teams. I can see Whale easily going 3-0 in his pool. Scraftionite did well last year in SM, he’s a good piloter and getting support from the kingpin dom himself, he’ll do good even in the deathpool he’s in. Ryyjyywyy a lure master but will they work against his friends which have seen most of his stuff? He doesn’t have much support apart from LRXC which is still pretty good support but compared to ggopw and dom support I don’t think ryy can beat go positive in the pool he’s in. OM is a solid player. He doesn't really have support for oras, not really sure why he was ranked against someone like IC who's a good picker and can build solid teams and has support from his teammates. Speaking of Iron Crusher his latest results in oras were beating Gareth Adamson and Ryyjyywyy in PL4 which are both solid players, considering who their support was. IC could do well in his pool since it's pretty bad apart from Whale. Togli really hasn't had much results other than winning the oras cup in classic 2 which was pretty long ago but he could snatch a win in his pool since it's pretty bad. Arctic was ranked dead last by everyone, even his teammates think he won’t be doing so good. TDA says he’ll train up arctic to become a god at oras but his pool consisting of Ryyjyywyy, 187 Fan, Scraftionite, three players that TDA himself probably can’t even beat in ORAS, will be hard for Arctic unless he gets super lucky.

At the top of the spire, remain 2 challengers: Kaif and Stableprince569, which should be no surprise to anyone who has frequently been within the BW metagame. The former Kaif, being the BW Leader surely has the knowledge and performances to back him up with a reliable ally in DEG only gives me more confidence that they will do well in the pool especially considering that bar stableprince569 he is the only one who plays actively in the tier meaning that they will have an advantage considering the other opponents don’t play the tier as much as he does. On the other side of the spectrum we have Stableprince569, quickly becoming one of the best BW players that the metagame has to offer. With his wide palette of knowledge and positive influence in the tier. There should be no doubt to anyone why they would be considered as one of the best players for this tour. With the most recent team tour PL4, he came out on top with one of the best records in the tier only adding to his repertoire. Simbo, when considering the amount of BW support that they have in their group might be one to watch for this tour. Previously, he has recently gained success in the tier going positive in the recent PL4, which only gives me more confidence that they will do well in this tour. One of the more controversial picks, Freddy Kyogre, might do well despite their inactivity in the tier so far. As one of the BW council members and a pool which most people would consider the weaker of the two pools, they might do well however the strains of not having decent support and their lack of activity might prove to backfire on them so only time will tell. Persephone and Gym Socks! are what I see to be the dark horses in this tour: the former recently having an excellent performance in PL4 despite being relatively new to BW. They have prominent support in Neomon and ggopw which gives me more confidence that with their aggressive playstyle it might benefit them even more than most people give them credit for. The latter Gym Socks! have proven themselves to be one of the better players winning the most recent BW no johns tournament. With their creativity and talent, alongside the amount of support he has in backing him up, they may very well turn out to do well in their pool. I have very little hope that power will go positive considering the behemoths are in his pool. Not only does he have very little activity in the tier but he has very little support going his way with the only decent players in the team not knowing the tier and the others. I think Sanshokuinsumireko has bitten off more than they can chew. Not only due they do not play the tier but in terms of playing capabilities they severely fall short with barely any support to back them up: it will have to be a miracle in order for them to go positive.

In almost unanimous agreement the rankers put Inkreativ in 1st place. The younger one of the German brothers put up the best DPP record in PL by a decent margin, and is looking to establish himself as the true DPP GOAT this WC. Trailing close behind is Synonimous. After a 4-3 PL, the US West representative is looking to repeat his 3-0 pools performance vs a seemingly toughened up pool. If synon has been slacking he might easily be overrun by the newer competitors, but a return to form would be nothing short of scary.
After accidentally being shipped off to ORAS for a week during PL, number 3 rank Yami managed to acquire himself a 3-3 DPP record. Probably the player with the most DPP games on the sheet, Yami is looking to repeat, or even improve upon his whopping 4-1 performance from last WC.
Classic finalist LRXC finally makes his return to 1v1 tourplay after a tough loss to Robyn and sitting out PL subsequently. Between his youtube channel and all the building he has been doing, it’s clear that LRXC is very motivated for 1v1 right now, and is looking to do well in his first team tournament. After a disappointing PL, Ultra Beast Poison Adhesive is looking to correct his mistakes of the past, and prove that he does have what it takes. The Englishman is held in high regard by some of the more active players of the tier, so PA’s lower half ranking might just prove to be a mistake. Just like LRXC, ThatCabbageGuy is returning from a hiatus that made him miss PL. Putting up a 2-1 record last WC, Cabb has proven to know what he’s doing, and if he can shake off the rust and put up a solid showing CONE as little to worry about for their DPP slot.
At the bottom of the ranking are Tom842 and Euphonos, two players for which the rankers seemingly had very little hopes. Tom edges out the 7th spot, presumably because of his 4-2 PL performance, but due to his absence of DPP results still finds himself at the bottom of the ranking. If Tom can successfully adapt to the tier and convert his skill, there is no reason to give up hope yet for the Italian. Euphonos has almost no data to go off, with this being his first team tour and no notable individual results, which is why he finds himself in dead last. This could end up working to his advantage though, as he could end up being a dark horse pick based on said lack of data. If DEG has trained Euphonos well, he could easily end up smashing this 8th place ranking.

Conclusion:
8: Asia - 46.5
6: East- 38
6: NWEU- 38
5: CONE - 37.5
4: Central - 35
3: West - 32

2: EEU -27.5
1: SEU - 24

have a fun wc season everyone :) & most importantly...
