Hahaha. Many of my friends would definitely be hard evidence of that your statement being true. Especially one of them... her boyfriend got her an ipod nano last Christmas, and for her birthday, well over $100 ($200?) of designer clothing.

But anyway. I'm Asian, and I have to admit the first few of my early crushes (we're talking waaaaay back in late elementary/early middle school) were Asian, but I think that was mainly due to my upbringing. Not that my parents encouraged racism, of course! I meant that since I was surrounded by Asian people most of the time and so I guess being attracted to Asian boys was the most natural thing to do.

But then I grew tired of them quickly. Yes, it's a very general statement and I'm sure it doesn't apply to all Asian guys, but from all the experiences I've had dealing with them, they all seem so quiet, submissive, boring, and would care more for a game of Starcraft than to hang out with you. (Being a gamer myself, you know it's bad when I find their gaming habits annoying.)

Ever since then, I've personally preferred white guys. My last boyfriend was white, as is my current one. My liking for green eyes and dark brown hair aside, I just find white guys tend to be more adventurous and fun to be with, even if just as friends.

And as many have said before me, I'm not racist, but I just don't find guys of African or Hispanic descent to be very physically attractive.

That's a little weird. Did you know there is less difference between race than there is between gender? So you have less in common with a white woman than a black man, genetically speaking, of course. I wonder if it is because of the "angry black woman" stereotype? I mean, like if Beyonce walked into your room right now, stripped and said "Let's go" you would say "no"? Sounds a little gay to me...but you're entitled to your own opinion.

PS - doesn't have to be Beyonce, you could insert other hot black chicks as well. Such as Gabbrielle Union, or Halle Berry.
 
I personally prefer caucasian/mediterranean for looks. I guess some azns qualify as well! (I don't know but I am like chaos in the sense that black girls just don't spark me at all.)

Shut up, and stop judging everyone. Sexual attraction is opinionated, so don't pigeonhole everyone into your ideals. I'm not attracted to black women. Do I think of them less because of it? No. I'm not attracted to fat women either, but I don't go hating on every one of them I meet.
 
Actually, I get the idea that Asian culture is probably one of the more racist cultures. The majority of Asians seem not to interbreed and from what I've seen they tend to stick together tightly (nearly exclusively), arguably only Arabs have a more insular community. This is of course not all Asians; but it seems a common trend to me. Possibly my experience is skewed because my parents come from Malaysia where ethnic groups are distinctly separate, sometimes by law.

I like a little flavor in my women. As far as I'm concerned, I'm almost just as attracted if not more attracted to asian and indian girls(as long as they are cute in the first place).

Good thing I go to a diverse school...

Dating I would do i guess, but only if they were really hot lol. And using my criteria for hot, few ethnic girls would honestly make the cut, which sucks to admit but i cant control what im attracted to.

Marriage, however, would be different, i would REALLY have to love the person for it to work, because life would just be so different. I'd like to think i could embrace an Indian family get together with Indian cuisine, but being the only white guy would be really wierd. And I am really big on having a home cooked meal (italian parents, where is dweedle we need to brb pasta sometime), and i need my food to be authentically italian lol. I just cannot eat asian/indian food. ever.

Overall, ive only ever dated Italian girls, and come to think of it, only really ever went after Italian girls...they are the hottest trust me.

Maybe us Italians are all just racist. Hell i might even be racist, although none of this applies for guys, I will hang out with any race lol. But with women you have to go for only the best :)

I am pretty much the opposite of this. I like German/Norwegian food (both of which I descend largely from, my mom is more than half German and my dad is mostly Norwegian), but I like some other culture's foods more. One particular example is asian food; I could eat only asian food and not get tired of it. Basically I would have no problems with eating other foods, but like you said earlier in your post it may be kind of weird being the only white dude.

As for finding certain races more physically attractive than others, I don't really have a preference. I find that I don't think that many black women are attractive, but there are plenty that I do. Likewise with asian women and other cultures, but I do think that more asian women attract me than black women. I care more about the personality of a girl more anyways, but physically I do not care what a woman's race is.
 
attraction doesnt make me a racist, its just preference and how the person behaves that ultimately attracts me to them.
 
I don't really care what race the person i date is. As long as I'm attracted to them it's fine. If i find an asian girl that i like, then it's no problem. It's just that i generally happen to find white girls with brown hair and blue eyes more attractive. Not that looks are everything, though.
 
Holy shit people, I never claimed not being attracted to something made you racist! See my second post, please. Hell, attraction is sort of necessary for the dating thing to begin anyway. The topic didn't ask whether you would consider dating black women, it asked whether you would consider dating outside your own race. Which, if you're English Caucasian, could mean dating people from the Czech Republic!
 
I didn't mean to sound jugemental. Sorry. But that picture of Beyonce is with A LOT of makeup. To make her complexion lighter, as you mentioned. And yeah, Halle Berry is half white. But there aren't that many famous black women that i know in the media...I can't tell you someone from around the block cause you want know her. And you were right: the fact i presented has nothing to do with this.

BTW, I'm half-Italian (but you can't tell) and Italian chicks are sooooo HOT!!!
 
Alright, I kinda have a fetish for lighter skinned girls with brown eyes. I don't know why, but I do. That doesn't mean that I won't go for other girls too, since I tend to go with girls based on how good our conversations are.

All in all, race doesn't completely matter for me all that much most of the time, but for me if I really don't like the girl's eyes or anything then I usually am not attracted that much since, I'm gonna look at her eyes when I'm talking to her anyway, unless I wanna look at her boobs or something.

Yeah, so just like everyone's been saying, I can be attracted to all girls, but just certain ones tend to attract me more, but there are exceptions.
 
Justin, race goes beyond skin colour, lol. Brazillians and Africans are both "Black", but they also both have very different features. People from different geographical areas all have slightly different features.
 
I would think of anyone with pale white skin white. Correct me if i am wrong, but people from Czech Republic have pale white skin, correct? If so I would just call them white.

Yeah, there are also differences depending on the geographical areas and of course the heritage of their historical ancestors.
 
just this week I completed my racial circle, so uh yeah (by that I mean I already dated Asian and Hispanic and now Ebony too yeah!!) although I guess maybe I have not dated a Caribou or Native American or anything
 
race =/= nationality

czech and english are both white but obviously different nationalities ;/

anyway on topic i actually don't really find any one race more attractive than another in that much of a way, so i guess it doesn't matter ;/
 
I like Chinese personally. But I have to admit I like the taste of Mediterranean the most; Greek and Italian cuisine just rule. So a girl who could authentically cook any of those would rule in my book. :)

I just don't know what it is. I have yet to find any woman of african american descent beautiful. However I just love caucasian races/nationalities and also southern european. I'm not particularly attracted to hugely temperamental personalities, though...

Yeah. I guess I would stick to my own race. It's not that I wouldn't like a black girl, it's just that I've seen none that impressed me.
 
This is actually something I've been asking myself for a really long time.

I plan on moving outside of America to Japan shorty after I turn 18, and I really am not sure if I should even bother getting into a serious relationship with a girl right now or at any time until I leave, because I am so adamant about wanting to move away permanently and only come back to the US to visit family or if work ever required it or something unusual like that, and I don't want someone trying to... tell me I can't do that, if you know what I mean.

This wouldn't be a problem with me if I could make up my mind if I really want to consider getting into a relationship with a female in the country I plan on moving to. Attraction plays a big roll into it of course, but overall practicality as well as harmony within the family are a big problem with me.

I'll be blunt: my parents are the kind of people that wouldn't approve of me dating outside of my race, although I have no problem with the idea of it. I'm afraid that if I were to one day bring home a foreign girl who's first language wasn't English, that I might be shunned from my parents for the rest of my life.



Maybe I'm just over-thinking this....
 
personally, i just don't find really darked skin women attractive at all. indian/black/whatever fall under this i guess.
