Yugioh! TCG Thread

I know I can look up the cards and I will later. I was just asking for a list form as that would make it easier lol.

Anyway thanks for the links and the help.

Well I was at a local toy store with my cousin today, and since I haven't bought cards in over 3 years, I decided to just for the hell of it - light of destruction btw.

Not sure if they are that rare but here are the three I got.

Kuraz the Light monarch(super rare)
Celestia, Lightsworn Angel(ultra rare)
Super-Ancient Dinobeast(parallel rare)

Any good?

Kuraz is new in the special edition- it's a pretty incredible card though it comes with every SE box. You got very good pulls by the way. Celestia is around 12 each, and ancient dinobeast is around 10.

I've pondering about that new card that will likely be included in Zombie World, Royal Impregnable Fortress and how it will kill my current deck.(D.D. Monarch with Gravekeepers Servant)
I've been thinking about making a Side deck adaption for my deck which could allow it to combat Royal Impregnable Fortress. I've been thinking about combining my current build with some "anti-trap" cards (Royal Decree and Jinzo) but I really don't quite know what kind of Magic Cards to use as a replacement for my traps. Any suggestions?

My deck is pretty much Elemental Heros and support for them but with my skills in the game im lucky to even do 2000 damage to the opponent.

if they don't put Zombie World in it I wont buy the structure.. plain as that. Solemn Judgment is where its at now and won't be coming common. They already had about 2 opportunities to reprint Solemn in a structures.. one was canceled and in the other (I forget which) they just plain changed it.

what's a good method for sending yugioh cards? i got like 3 solemns(1 super rare, 2 rare) uhhh....some goldds(2 or 3 all rare), maybe 1 widespread ruin rare and a bunch of other things. i think they're all from champion pakcs. i gotta see. and once i go back to america which will be in like 2 weeks, i wouldn't mind shipping them all out free of charge to some guys that need help.

theyre doing nothing just sitting in my binder.

pretty much first come first serve if you seem cool.

like I told you in my PM I lent my cousin 2 and he got his deck stolen, so I would definitely appreciate if could hook my brother and I up.

Well now if it isn't a yugioh thread. Don't mind if I do...

I played back when it first came out, stopped soon after. I started again when dark revelation 1 came out and haven't stopped since.

I don't go to tourneys, they piss me off. Due to that fact I keep my money out of the real cards and play the video games on the DS, PSP, and GBA. (WC2006 is the best one, seriously.)

My real life decks are all jokes in a tourney settings; a Reasoning, a F-H-D deck, and an Advance Ritual Art deck.
I keep up with the meta for a laugh or two when a nub comes around with his cookie cutter deck and expects to beat me.

Not a terrible game all in all, but there's one thing I hate about it: 60% of the cards aren't even usable in casual. I mean seriously... is anyone at the OCG R&D even playtesting these cards before they release these? It's been a problem since this game came out.

My ending statement: Raiza is a (BAN ME PLEASE). (most of you should know what I'm talking about)

I know right!

I mean WTF is the deal with the missing card shit in all the current DS games? And whats with the no WiFi for Tag force 2, the game that has all the cards and features you want?

I swear WC2008 has about as many cards as WC2006, since WC2006 actually bothered to put all the cards in and went over the top introducing gadgets about 2 years before there card release! Now that game sure had balls!

I can understand missing a few of the moldy oldie cards out of the game since no one has seem them in like 6 years or some of the crap normal monsters but when you bother to include the latest pack at the time into a yu gi oh game (Gladiators force was currently the latest for WC2008 at the time) and not bother to include all the like 80 cards available and you've got some mind boggling shit.

Anyway...I try to stay creative and use a cloudian, alien(it works pretty damn good), dinosaur, and a load of other uncommon ones and the occasional gadget because the monsters are my favorite.

All in all its a good game, pretty easy to learn, great variety, maybe not the nicest of communities but hey there are some pretty nice players out there, even at the big SJC tournaments where people in ski masks try to steal peoples stuff and some of the people in duels trying to rule bend and time burn to win.

I actually like this format but not as good as the last. Maybe thats because I actually own a tier one deck for once since the Chaos Return and Cyber-Stein Format.

I play Gladiator Beasts. I got all my cards through trades and credit and have been playing them since I saw the potential in Prisma and Gyzarus.

I play Zombies on the side and trying to build Counter Fairies for my brother, we are an Honest and a Solemn away (right now my brother and I are splitting Solemns because my cousin got our other 2 stolen) from finishing it. Except we don't have Harvest of Wisdoms or Nova Summoners.. I'm hoping to try out some other strats to make them work.

to krom, five headed dragon is the best thing that has ever happened to dragons, no joke. Stock your deck with troop dragons, masked dragons, and other various dragons, then dragon's mirror your way to victory. Future fusion also works tremendously well, especially in combination with the mirror.

Box tourney at my locals this weekend! I know I don't stand much of a chance with the clusterfuck of a deck I have now, especially considering how high the turnout will be. But hey, who knows, maybe my good ol' monarchs will pull through. Still gotta beat XCPetro's damned oppression gadgets, who stomp every tactic my deck has.

Against legitimate tourney decks (DAD, lightsworn, glads, 6sam), do macro monarchs even stand a chance?

Gladiators are macro's worst matchup by far...I'd say use something else. Have you tried making a deck involving Phantom of Chaos and Sky Scourge Norleras? It is pretty nice, pm me or Warthog for a list. A cheap version without allures will cost around 70-110ish.

We heard from the store owner (who's been wrong on countless occasions but anyway) that no one has made a complete Gladiator Beasts yet. So how would it fair against the other top decks? (Macro Monarchs that is)

It beats lightsworn if lyla isn't drawn and sometimes dark armed. But you will lose to a regular Monarch deck...macro monarchs are very inconsistant.

Me and my friends frequently play Yugioh and Magic both. Expensiveness is an issue, but one of my friends and myself are the only two who enter tournaments. I used to run Zombies, switched to Stall, and am now running Dark Armed Dragon. Yes, I have 3 but only through sheer bull shit luck. My friend traded me one for basically a whole deck. I really only do locals and regularly win (meaning I've been banned from two shops for always winning. =/) Otherwise I only play fun and/or proxy decks with my friends. No one likes losing ALL the time.

I didn't make top 8 at locals yesturday because the dark armed player had an opening hand of dmoc, stratos, trade in, monster reborn, premature, and destiny draw. The fuck...
