it is not light of ruin is the only move coded i believe also everyone in this thread thats not a mentor should join the mentorship program to have fun 150+ turn battles with AWailOfATail or Adrian Marin
That seems terrible.it is not light of ruin is the only move coded i believe also everyone in this thread thats not a mentor should join the mentorship program to have fun 150+ turn battles with AWailOfATail or Adrian Marin
That works for the first one, but what about Shed 2-6?We're not actually voting on anything right now, rather, we're discussing the possibility of there being a vote.
Shed isn't terribly hard to deal with. Setting up rocks then immediately applying offensive pressure makes sure they don't get the chance to defog. Mold breaker sweepers also work, as well as passive damage effects like magma storm.
floette-e is in the teambuilder as floette-eternal-flowerJust had a guy fail to Light of Ruin me out of a game so I guess it's not the ultimate weapon after all.
Probably means Diamond Storm is coded too.
EDIT: Volcanion, Hoopa, Diancie, and the Lati@s-M formes are now searchable through the teambuilder. Floette-AZ is not searchable or useable (unless it just doesn't have a picture).
Diamond Storm and Light of Ruin are both coded. Hyperspace Hole and Steam Eruption are not.
mm2y can OHKO giratina unboosted. That works for the first one, but what about Shed 2-6?
Also how much offensive pressure can you really apply to Giratina?
Jirachi and Magnet Pull Yveltal can be effective when fighting against an Imposter the first time, but in a possible rematch I believe this would be very predictable and much easier to avoid getting trapped again. Instead, I'd recommend giving Yveltal an ability like Poison Heal, and since Jirachi can't touch Yveltal anyway, you would have a safe switch in. From there you could use a move such as Knock Off or Sacred Fire, which would hurt the Imposter considerably, or anything else they switch too aside from another Poison Heal Pokemon.Hey guys! Any opinions on having a core of Jirachi with Shell Smash/Stored Power/Earth Power/Magic Coat as sweeper accompanied by magnet pull yveltal in order to be immune to its moves and kill it?? I have seen it done before but i would like to know if there is anything that can be done to stop such a technique and whether is is usable in the metagame as it is right now.
Thanks for the answer! I will make Yveltal poison heal and use the method you posted in order to get rid of the blobs!Keep it Playful said:Jirachi and Magnet Pull Yveltal can be effective when fighting against an Imposter the first time, but in a possible rematch I believe this would be very predictable and much easier to avoid getting trapped again. I've found the best way to trap those pink things is to use a Steel type Pokemon, such as Dialga, with Magnet Pull. From there, it's best to have some sort of set up move like Quiver Dance to bait the Chansey. Then there are two ways to defeat the Chansey, the first is to use Perish Song and escape with a Shed Shell. I would not recommend this way because the previously mentioned move Knock Off is so common. Instead, I'd recommend trying out a set that walls itself and has a decent total of PP from it's four moves (50+ is good). This way, the opposing Chansey runs out of it's 20 PP and helplessly struggles, oh and then aside from things like Shedinja and Prankster Heart Swap, you may be able to sweep. : )
Welcome! You can give Dialga a Rocky Helmet to keep Shedinja from stopping it too. I like to use: Dazzling Gleam/Sludge Bomb/Recover/Quiver Dance, with 0 EVs in Sp Atk to guarantee that even a Critical Hit from an Imposter (at +6 Special Attack) will only hurt about 90% HP. This way, once you start boosting up, then you can spam Recover until the Imposter is out of Dazzling Gleam PP.Thanks for the answer! If you're running magic guard on something that isn't Fire type and doesn't run physical moves, run flame orb. That way when you got a sweep going and your ability gets nullified through some arcane method you don't die to poison :]anyone thought of light of ruin and magic guard with toxic orb? on xerneas maybe?
Pixilate Boomburst hits harder, ignores subs, and gives the option for Fairy-type priority in Espeed+Fake Out. Magic Guard Xerneas would hit harder with its recoil-based coverage moves though, when compared with Pixilate's usual coverage options.anyone thought of light of ruin and magic guard with toxic orb? on xerneas maybe?
Regigigas is a very strong Poison Healer, and your set looks effective but against Imposter it will get hurt badly. Even if Fist type Judgment hurt it a lot, your Regigigas would still be burned with the 100% burn rate. Check out this calc from the calculator:Might as well put this here.
Reaper (Regigigas) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Iron Head
- Zen Headbutt
- Extreme Speed
Regigigas may be a good Poison Heal User (From what I've heard anyway), but I prefer using this. After getting Baton Passed some boosts from Deo-D (Yay Simple) he becomes near unstoppable. Serene Grace for luck hax with Iron Head/Zen Headbutt (Can't think of anything better) Extremespeed for STAB, and Sacred Fire to gurantee a burn on Sturdy Shedinja (it was Mold Breaker at one point, but Serene Grace has more of a general use oftrollingsomething that's not trolling :P). And yeah I know most people carry Topsy Turvy on something, and I know most Sturdy Shedinja have a Lum Berry, I use one myself as a Contrary Checker.
Edit: May change the Item to Fist Plate and Iron Head to Judgement. Because fuck Imposter XD
Ouch. Strats ruined. and I figured that you'd mention Imposter. Yeah I have no way to counter it besides switching to Sturdinja (Even then, I'm screwed if they use Sacred Burn, which is about 90% likely. Looks like I'm making a Flash Fire MScizor/Genesect!Regigigas is a very strong Poison Healer, and your set looks effective but against Imposter it will get hurt badly. 252 SpA Fist Plate Regigigas Judgment vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD (Imposter) Regigigas: 94-112 (13.3 - 15.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever
Which is why I'm going to replace Iron Head with something like EQ. I've had problems with Refrigerate KyuremB and such. Also flat out walled by flash fire aegislash.
Heck any ff steel walls that.
