Credit to Carl Murray for informing me of this

The sim has incorrect Entrainment+Truant mechanics on megas.

Sim: If a faster enemy with Truant (Durant) uses Entrainment on the Pokemon the turn it Mega Evolves, the Mega attacks normally on turn 1, then gets the "loafing around" status on turn 2.

In-game: If a faster enemy with Truant (Durant) uses Entrainment on the Pokemon the turn it Mega Evolves, the Mega will undergo the "loafing around" turn granted by Truant and will be unable to attack that turn. It can attack on turn 2.

Battle video: 8XAW-WWWW-WW3N-3EQ9

Interactions on things like Relic Song Meloetta and Darmanitan-Z haven't been tested but I'll follow up on that.

So you're saying that it interacts differently for non-megas

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask.

The current sim mechanic, which is consistent across every Pokemon, is Entrainment Truant > Attack on the turn Truant is received > Loaf around the following turn

The in-game mechanic for Megas is backwards (in what I would assume is an in-game bug), where Entrainment Truant > Loaf around on the turn Truant is received > Attack on the following turn

UI 'bug': in a triple battle, when a Shuckle successfully uses Guard Split the log does not indicate which pokemon it used Guard Split on, making it impossible for the opponent to figure out what happened.

I don't know, but this may also happen in doubles, when the user is a different pokemon, and with related moves such as Power Split.

I think there is a glitch with illusion, basically the situation is my opponent sent out aurumoth as landorus and it uses Quiver Dance then Shadow Ball. Well Landorus came in later but in its moves it shows Quiver Dance and Shadow Ball. I'm not sure if there is anyway to fix this lol.

(before you ask I turned off all my stylish and whatnot even though that shouldn't really effect that anyways, just to check, I'm just too lazy to take another screenshot and upload it to imgur)

I'm going to assume this is unintentional in the case of Pumpkaboo-Super at least, which probably stems from that 1 event a while back where it got Insomnia. Maybe the Rotoms are intentional at least slightly to not crowd /ds etc with a bunch of rotoms but that still seems a bit odd, like if I was to look for say (example arbitrary scenarios) electric types with wisp in higher tiers, fire type with trick, whatever then I wouldn't find that, which in that case finding 8 rotoms seems a small price to pay so people can actually find what they're looking for.

Hello I would like to address the new update, it has a issue that irritates me and most likely irritates other. I am not able to use PC, and I'm using safari on my iPad. Before the update, the battle and chat logs would be side by side, and it was very convenient. Now, you have to click in between the battle and the chat log for some strange reason, and it gets very tedious having to do so without just seeing both at once. I would also like to state that Zero Lux Given (I'm pretty sure that's the username) from the Help room was very kind and helped me along with the process of reporting this issue. If this could somehow be fixed I'm sure lots of people including me would greatly appreciate it.

Not sure if this a bug but..
Turn 3 Rock tomb lowered speed on snivy and not raised.
It's odd because contrary is meant to vice versa stats so instead of -1 speed it should be +1.
Any idea?
Developing on what anto said, Drilbur had Mold Breaker, which, according to Pokemon Database, prevents a target's ability from affecting moves that the Mold Breaker Pokémon uses. Contrary is one of the abilities that Mold Breaker affects (as you can see on the list in the page), which is why the effect was nullified.

  1. The teambuilder lists Sludge Wave as a move that Gastly can learn, but once I try to start a battle, I get an error.
Sludge Wave can be taught in a prior generation, so it would be possible for Gastly to learn it and be transported to sixth gen, knowing Sludge Wave. Other moves were Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam and Trick, which can al be taught in prior generations, by level-up, or in gen VI.
  2. When I select a moveset in the teambuilder, sometimes, when I click a move again to delete it and replace it with a new one, the new moveset isn't save correctly. It shows the removed move and the newly added move, deleting another move in the process.
  3. When someone forfeits a battle, Showdown perceives it as someone who has left the battle and shows an "[Opponent] has left and has 60 seconds to reconnect!" message.

When in random doubles, I encountered a bug with Earthquake. When Earthquake misses all targets (for me, one was immune, one was protected and another faints earlier in the turn), the animation does not play. In addition this message is shown in chat:

Flygon used Earthquake!

It doesn't affect Azelf...

I do not believe that this is intended. Also, the link to the battle. The bug does not appear unless you watch the battle, and do not skip to the end. It happens on turn 4

This is a Chrome bug. Please use a stable (non-beta) version of Chrome, or a different browser.

In Balanced Hackmons, it is currently impossible to have a Pokemon with a set gender to be genderless, despite reports from TI saying that in-game, it is. Whenever you try to set a Pokemon to genderless that has a forced gender, then it will simply revert back to the set gender. This is because unlike Male and Female, on the importable, Genderless does not have a specific icon to signify the specific gender, since all Pokemon that are Genderless cannot be anything other than Genderless.

My solution to the problem is to either add a genderless signifier along with the current male/female signifiers in the importable, or to simply remove the hardcode preventing specific-gendered Pokemon to be specific in Balanced Hackmons.

Just a minor bug report of the "show/hide" feature of banned/locked user's hidden messages. not being removed. When the user was locked and their lines were removed, I clicked "show 27 lines from navy235" to see what they were locked for, but when I tried to click "hide 27 lines from navy235", nothing happened, it wouldn't remove the messages.

Sorry if this is a known problem with browsers that I'm unaware of or if the screenshot is unclear of what I'm trying to say, it's kind of hard to show that a button isn't working with a picture.

Hi,
I just discovered a bug in showdown. It seems that regenerator does not work after it has been skill swapped.
Unfortunately I was unable to save the battle, but this is what happened:
My opponent had a slowbro and I had a cress and used skill swap and the log said I had attained regenerator. He attacked me to around 46 percent and when I switched out my health stayed there.
Based on other forums about the handheld games, regenerator should work after skill swap.

Edit: I was playing on the application, not a browser

Im not exactly sure how this happened, but in a doubles match I had a jolly terrakion in tailwind. I encored the opposing kanga into return with prankster whimsicott, then got immediately outsped by the kanga while in tailwind with a mon that naturally outsped it. I assume that prankster's priority somehow transferred but I'm not sure. Saved the replay

Pretty sure that happens if you get Encored while using a priority move like Sucker Punch.
