Claiming from this battle:

Lucario gets a total of 4 MC which will be spent on quick guard (level) and Circle Throw (Egg) If i do not get the KOC for whatever reason, i'll use an RC.

I'll also use 6 RC and Cincino's stored MC to have it learn light screen (BW TM), and wake up slap (level), as well as double team (BW TM) and Grass Knot (TM).

I'll use another RC, and Cyclohm's stored MC to learn thunder wave.

I will finally use a BP to get a grass gem!

I get 2 TC, which brings me to 13. Scraggy gets 1 EC, 1 DC, and 2 MC plus 2 KOC used as MC. Scraggy then evolves into scrafty, unlocks intimidate, gets fake out, Incinerate, smack down and torment. Haunter gets 1 EC and 2 MC, combined with the stocked two MC gets pain split and hex.

Intimidate (DW):
Type: Can be Activated, unlocked

I'd also like to apologize for my idiocy.

Endquote: Sure. I'll approve that. Angrily.

Darkslay: Let's play "Ruin Darkslay's fun by being pedantic over his claim post." You need to edit in the total moves, and remove the "7" at the end of Regirock's Hidden Power to account for the fact that it can be worth any value you dictate. Do that and you're approved.

6

Posting to say that DarkSlay's Regirock shouldn't have been approved, as when captured mons are claimed, they are treated 'as if you were buying the Pokemon from the prize claim thread. If you captured a Pikachu, for instance, assume it is the most basic Pikachu that you can acquire. It has 4/9 EC, 0 MC, and 0 DC, all of the level-up moves up to Level 25, 3 egg moves of your choice, 3 BW TMs of your choice, and any specialty moves that it had in the RP you caught it in but you wouldn't normally get.'

sorry bro :(

Sorry, I had assumed that the mon received was complete. Retracting Approval from DarkSlay. (Cheers MK though)

Rickheg: Approved

Claiming from this. (Right after Dogfish approves stuff, i've gotta stop doing that!) I get 2 TC.

Phredd gets 1 EC, 2 MC, and 1 DC. I'm also going to put my 3 RC into his EC, letting him evolve!

No wait, moves first. Aqua Tail (4), Agility (3), and Earthquake (1) is good.

I get 2 TC from that, which gives me a total of 4 TC. I'm using 2 of those TC to purchase (Sumo)Makuhita:

Type: Fighting
Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Hi TalkingLion. <3 you for getting a Makuhita, but I'm just gonna go over and ask you to mark your ability types. Next to Guts and next to Thick Fat you should have (Innate), and next to Sheer Force you should have (Can be Enabled), like below:

Code:
[b]Thick Fat[/b] (Innate): This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
[b]Guts[/b] (Innate): This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.
[b]Sheer Force (DW)[/b] (Can be Enabled): This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

In fact, copy and paste that over your abilities and you'll be golden, and you can add that straight away to your registration tower post.

Niggly: Total moves, then Approved.

I suppose I have to claim my 35 freaking TC from the predictions challenge, so I'll do so now, giving me a total of 41 when combined with the 6 I already had.

I'm buying a Lucky Egg for 20 TC and 2 Charcoals for 10 TC each. I have 1 TC left, and I've been inspired by watching Deck's epic Beedrill, soooooo...

13.png

Weedle [Brian] (M)

Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpAtk)
Type:
Bug: Bug STAB; more mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gains an extra guaranteed attack on multi-hit moves.
Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.

Abilities:
Shield Dust: (Innate) This Pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (eg burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)
Run Away (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.

Going to do the whole "posting right after the approver approves thing" and claim from this.
Scorchstrike the Charmeleon, despite playing his role as Rebble bait admirably, only gets the usual. This does unlock his DW ability though. He'll use his MC to buy Brick Break (BW TM).

Gatorstrike the Croconaw, though he quickly fell to a mere Scraggy, did complete the ever so important job of defeating Rebble, and for that he got 1 KOC in addition to the usual, which will go into his EC. He also unlocks his DW ability, and the MC he earned will be saved until Veekun comes back up and I can figure out what he wants to learn.

These two cleared the way for Raptorstrike the Staravia to clean house, effortlessly dispatching of Scraggy and Riolu with Rebble out of his way. For his efforts he received two KOC, both of which go into EC, and he too unlocks DW ability. Like Gatorstrike, he too will save his MC because I need to check Veekun and find out what he needs to learn, which is proving to be impossible at the moment.

EDIT: And since I'm already here SOS is APPROVED

Claiming from this loss, although I think I did alright.

Boarbeque the Pignite just gets the usual 1/2/1, putting him at 5/9, 2, 2/5. He'll save the 2 MC for now. I go up to 16 TC.

And that loss is okay, because here's a win.

Megazord the Golett gains 1/2/1, with a KOC. This brings him to 6/6, 7 (KOC into MC), 5/5. He evolves into Megazord the Golurk, and unlocks No Guard, and shall hold onto the MC. When all these mons use their MC, now that will be a hellish post to approve indeed. I just can't decide what to give it yet.

623.png

Golurk (Megazord)
Nature: Adamant (Adds 1 to Attack; Subtracts 1 from Special Attack)

Type: Ghost/Ground
Ghost: Ghost STAB; brief intangibility that nullifies Normal and Fighting-type attacks. Can move through walls for a brief period of time but must remain in motion. Superior senses in low light and inside dark buildings. Have no vision reduction in hazes.

Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.

Abilities:
Iron Fist: (Innate) The Base Attack Power of this Pokemon’s “Punch” attacks is increased by two (2). (Known attacks effected: Bullet Punch, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Drain Punch, Dynamicpunch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Meteor Mash, Shadow Punch, Sky Uppercut, Thunderpunch)

Klutz: (Can be Disabled) The Pokemon moves in a rare style of battling that uses an unpredictable, clumsy looking manner. The accuracy of its attacks are increased by 10% (flat). While engaging in this style it cannot use a hold item, however an item is necessary to pull it off.

No Guard: (Innate) (DW Unlocked) This Pokemon has an immense confidence from perfecting each of its attacks, giving them all perfect accuracy. As a result, it feels it can weather every strike, and will not dodge an attack even if ordered to. Only when an OHKO move is issued by the opponent does sense return, and the Pokemon acts normally. Additionally, even with their extra skill, the power and exhaustion involved in using OHKO moves prevents them from being benefited by No Guard; they will have their normal accuracy.

And Sphinx the Luxio also gains 1/2 with a KOC. He goes to 6/9, 3 (KOC into MC). Again, he'll hoard the MC for the time being.

I go to 18 TC. So close to a good item...

Okay then, claiming from a win this time.

Korangir (Aerodactyl):
MC: 2
DC: 2/5
KOC: 1

Spending the KOC on MC and then purchasing Aqua Tail via Tutor.

May as well claim from this as well :/

Alurani (Roserade):
MC: 3

Spending the MC on Endure via TM
