It should, assuming Gyarados is faster.
What if the Gyarados is running 100 Spd, while Breloom is 252 Spd. Breloom ends up being faster than the Gyarados. You would need a Breloom counter there, assuming it [Breloom] has Thunderpunch, correct?

No.
+4x2 =/= x10

Fuck. Nevermind. It does. But only if you would only normally gain 1 EV, it wont work for 3 Evs.
You're right, on the usual situation (killing Andrew's Magikarps) it'll work that way. Otherwise...

. Let's suppose you killed a Magikarp with Pokerus and your pokemon is holding the Speed power item (I forgot the name).

1*2 + 4*2 = 10

. Supposing you killed a Staravia

2*2 + 4*2 = 12

. Supposing you killed a Raichu

3*2 + 4*2 = 14
. Supposing you killed a Gastly holding the Speed power item

1Sp.Atk*2 + 4Spd*2 = 2Sp.Atk + 8 Spd

. Supposing you killed a Gyarados holding the Speed power item

2Atk*2 + 4*Spd = 4Atk + 8 Spd

So, this is how it works.

Btw, I have 2 questions:

Is the Psypoke Damage calc reliable?

We have more than 100 pages again, time to a Mark 3?

yeay page 102!

ok what is the damage calculations for confusion? when you hit yourself out of confusion i mean.
like my friend it was based on poke's (thats confused) atk and defense.
if so does this also include swagger/flatter atk increases?

If I have lets say a Flygon with Macho brace and I have a Pikachu with Exp. Share and Pokerus, and I battle a Gyarados (with the Flygon)... then it would 4 EV for and 4 EV for Pikachu, right?

Can a standard Starmie packing Psychic beat a standard Gengar?

Why isn't a Lucario holding a Choice Scarf that popular in competitive play? It's quite intimidating considering it has a higher Speed than Heracross.
