Fidgit doesn't reference Ground or Poison.Take note, by the way, that the name of a pokemon doesn't always have to reference what typing said pokemon has. Breloom, for instance, has no reference towards fighting as far as I can see, nor does Lanturn have any reference towards water. Masquerain is in no way a water type apart from (to a certain extent) having a water-type's movepool. And the list goes on....
:Dyou got my voteDiosavant
I support Fritz.
These are cool, too :)I just thought of a new potential name. Amplifrai anyone? Amplification for Amperes of course, and rai for dragon. Rolls off the tongue in my opinion.
You do realize that the "idiot" in "idiot savant" is just the word idiot, right? As in, the deragotory word for a stupid person. Of course, it wasn't derogatory back when the term was coined, but regardless, the "t" is most certainly not silent.Diosavant -- For the Dragon d'Cartoons:
- Idiot Savant (pronounced "IH-dee-oh suh-VAHNT"), sans the I.
- Dio (or Dios) is the Italian (Spanish) word for God, evoking the Pokemon's Zeus-like power.
- "Savant" ends with the same syllable as "arrogant," ultimately creating the resounding image of a fat, pompous dragon. :]
Not in French, honey. :3You do realize that the "idiot" in "idiot savant" is just the word idiot, right? As in, the deragotory word for a stupid person. Of course, it wasn't derogatory back when the term was coined, but regardless, the "t" is most certainly not silent.
Oh, so it IS French origin. I was under the impression that idiote was French for "idiot", but apparently I was mistaken. Anyways, I do rather like the name. It's not my favorite, but it's certainly much better than the hordes of "word for dragon+common SI unit of electricity" we've been getting. Not in French, honey. :3

Granted, if you pronounce in that way, there's no t, either. But I really thought that it was "Idio Savan(t)" before I looked it up, and honestly, I think it's close enough.
What about spelling it Photowyrm?I'll put my cash in a pot with Photyrm.
Takes from a Photon, an electrically-charged light-emitting particle, and a wyrm, a type of dragon. Yes, it sounds similar to Rotom, but it's the best I could think of.
Photowyrm sounds like some pornographic fish bait, not to mention could be referred to as a portmanteau of Photo and Wyrm, the former of which has absolutely fuck all to do with electricity. Photons, however, do. Thanks for the opinion, though, which will be filed into this bin. What about spelling it Photowyrm?
Point of correction-I'll put my cash in a pot with Photyrm.

Oh Sorry...Yea, about that... I think this one may already be taken. ^_^

*Edit* Ray2020 beat me to the punch. ^_^
Really like this one, has a nice referance to typing without being obviousI think I have a good name: Oblhivio (pronounced: ob-liv-ee-oh)
This is based around the word oblivion. Knock off the 'n' and you've already got the Latin variant. The 'h' is between the 'l' and the first 'i' to get the 'hiv' bit, which is a Danish word for dragon (trust me, I looked it up on InterTran.)
Plus it rolls off the tongue more easily than you might expect, as the 'h' is not pronounced, just like it isn't in words like whip, while and whisk (basically all the words that start with wh)
Thanks. It's a damn good thing I found the word hivReally like this one, has a nice referance to typing without being obvious
