Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish

- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt / Crunch / Fire Punch
Rampardos is often overlooked due to its horrid base 58 speed and paper-thin defenses. But, his main selling point is his monstrous 165 attack stat, second to only Deoxys. This set aims to counteract his middling speed and expose his outstanding attack with Rock Polish. Just one Rock Polish brings Rampardos up to 430 speed, outspeeding the entire unboosted metagame, apart from Ninjask and maybe Electrode. This set is a good late game sweeper, as little can withstand the mighty power of Rampardos. Rock Slide is chosen over Head Smash and Stone Edge due to Rock Slide's reliability and boost from Sheer Force. Earthquake is there for good coverage (EdgeQuake), and is a fantastic move in general. The last move slot is a choice based on what threat you want to check. Zen Headbutt is for Sawk, Crunch is for ghosts like Golurk and Misdreavus, and Fire Punch is for Tangela.
The main threats you will encounter with this set are bulky physical walls like Alomomola and Tangela, and bulky pokes that resist your STAB like Sawk and Golurk. Rampardos is also weak to priority, mainly Aqua Jet from Samurott and Floatzel, and Mach Punch from Gurdurr.
These weaknesses can be counteracted by having a fast, strong special attacker like Rotom-S, as it doesn't take much from Aqua Jet or Mach Punch, and can eliminate Alomomola.
The main reason to use Rampardos over other Rock Polish sweepers is because of its raw power. It also has Sheer Force to add even more firepower to its coverage moves and allows it to take no damage from Life Orb recoil.
So, as long as you can patch up Rampardos's weaknesses, it is a very capable sweeper that is amazingly strong and very fun to use.
